Today I will finish cleaning, take dgd4 to dance and do laundry.

I had papers to shred. I sat the timer for 10 minutes and thought I would need several rounds of that. After the 10 minutes I realized I was more than half way done, so with another 5 minutes, the job was completed. Another example of a project taking far less time than we thought it would.

I hope you each have a wonderful day.

I better start some cleaning.................

Good morning, Lilac! Thank you for starting us off.

Forgot to mention to you yesterday that dh and I picked up a new shower head while on the border run. Got a double headed one to try. What's interesting is that dh likes one head and I like the other so we are now both happy. Although neither work very well because of our water pressure.

I'm up, exercised, s2s, tidied the bedroom, unloaded the dishwasher and am having my tea and chocolate now. Trying get moving. Dh didn't sleep well (or at all, according to him) and I slept poorly too, possibly as a result. So we are both dragging today and no outside activities to force us to be productive. All motivation will have to come from within.

Happy Mardi Gras y'all...

This is the second time I posted today but the first one sailed out into cyberspace.

I am up, eaten, fed puppies and am now drinking my second cup of coffee. Next I need to pick up footprints and do my morning routines. Later today I will be meeting friends for a birthday luncheon. On the way there I will make a library stop and do a grocery run on my way home.

My week is busy with some fun and some not so fun.... Dentist..with things to do. Next week is spring break so I won't have to worry about subbing.

Off to start my day... Y'all stay safe in this wild weather and enjoy your day. Cya'll later

The upstairs is clean. Still need to do the basement but I really need to shower. Today is an election day, with only one thing to vote on. Regardless, I will still go vote.

I can always clean the basement after dgd4 leaves at 4, so in the meantime I am doing laundry.

Off to the shower after ironing something to wear.

lucylee, when I have hit that screen in the past, I've found that my composing screen still exists, if I just hit "back". Might not always work - don't know. I agree we hate to miss a post from you.

I had to have a small snack before my shower or I would be low before I was finished with hair, etc. If I could work like this all the time, I would not need insulin. Of course, it is unrealistic that I could continue this pace day after day. So off to the shower.............

Had to charge up the tablet before I could do my qt. Journaling done.

I am really tired of analysis of the Russia stuff on the news makes me wonder how we wouldnreact if something like that was happening in a country next to the USA?

Hitting the back button works for me most of the time.

:D HAPPY MARDI GRAS! :D

I've got my Mardi Gras beads on!

We're under a National Weather Service Alert for mudslides this week, getting 1 - 3" rain a day for a few days. Then, the alert continues into next week, because of flooding. :( Sure do feel for people living with hills behind them, in front of them, or if they're built on a hill. Also, highways have embankments and hills, to slide over roads. Then, with flooding, it always seems to be the same rivers year after year, too. I feel for the people living on rivers; some getting flooded out, to re-build yearly, too. They love their view and river life though.

I'm thinking about my Lent, decided, and don't know if there will be a Lent thread here this year or not.

I'm trying to work on a letter to report my weight loss for last week, to my diet buddy, but the letter's taking forever to write. Then, as each day goes by, as I add to it, I tell her my weight for that day. So this letter will be a report of 2 weeks' worth of diet reports. :)

I'm "itching" to make some new face cloths, printed up 2 patterns to try, last night, but don't know if I'll get to them today. Today's focus is decluttering the living room and focus on the kitchen. I'll try to do that. It's great motivation.

Everybody have a great Mardi Gras Day! :D :D :D :D :D
