Tuesday timing

Post by Kathryn-in-Canada »

My day has tight timing in order to get everything done.

Timing our routine tasks helps us fit them into the week.

Time for oneself helps us be refreshed.

One never knows how much time one has in this life, so keeping relationships in good health to minimize regrets should always be a priority.

There are many different ways of looking at time. What are your reflections on time today?

P.S. Don't take too much time thinking about this!

We leave in 35 minutes for a busy, busy, day.

1. Drive into our new neighbourhood for a doctor's appointment for dh.

2. Pop over to the apartment and fill in the application. She wanted us to bring in the last month's rent so we suspect we might be signing the lease today as well. That will save us a drive in.

2.5 If there's time we'll drop off my ring at the jeweler's (coincidentally, the same neighbourhood.)

3. Dh has a lunch meeting.

4. While dh is at lunch, I will eat my own lunch and pick up extra henna, and possibly a few groceries.

5. After the lunch meeting, I'll pick up dh and we'll hit Cos tco and the grocery store (if I didn't get it done earlier.)

6. Home. Breathe.

7. Head off by 4:15 to Presbytery meeting. If I have the energy, I might head off earlier to avoid rush hour traffic since I'm driving from the extreme south of the city to the extreme north east about 35 miles, possibly farther.

Good morning, Kathryn! Hope your travels are swift and safe today.

I, too, have running to do. Only remembered late last night that I am hostess for today's women's ministries meeting at church at 9:30 this morning. And of all mornings, my tummy is giving me drastic troubles.  And to top it off I used the powder room as dh was in ours -not a good plan. Having great difficulty with the flushing in there. Poor dh is in there now trying to get it to work. But better us than company.

DD has a treatment staff meeting (via phone) this morning. Hoping she can come home a little more relaxed today after this call.

Gotta run.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

My timing has been way out of wack today.

almost 11pm.
If I wash water filter jug and the few things used today that will have the morning and all of tomorrow in better stead if today's failings are anything to go by.

The cyclonic influence has gone today. The rain was nice but nowhere near enough to keep things going if it fails - it could be a long dry spell.

Kathryn - meant to say - glad ds got to Uluru, and hope his barrier reef dive is good - uneventful in terms of difficulties.
Just begin.

I was up at 7:30 this morning but haven't done much of anything yet. I have a pretty haphazard list for the day going so I need to prioritize and get things rolling.

Just talked to temple immediate past president and decided that Exec committee won't try to meet tonight. It would be me, board secretary and rabbi only.

Someone commented on the temple secretary issues the other day - I wanted to clarify that the lady that I struggle with is the temple office employee, not the board secretary who is an elected officer of the congregation. She's worked there five years this time, and worked there for at least a couple of years before then left to take another position, and returned when it opened up again.

-Email re cancelled meeting tonight
-order meds refills online
-change clothes, brush teeth
-walk the ddogs
-start a lol

I am heading out now, finally, to walk the ddogs.

Spent awhile finding the probable address for the daughter of a former member for the office secretary. Emailed her the info and asked her to try to confirm - we need to send an acknowledgment of a contribution in memory of the former member. This won't be in my portfolio in the future! Also deleted and archived emails.

WHen I get back:
-email re regional jewish org chair person
-reboot laundry
-make the bed
-deal w 10 pieces of paper
-call re setting up meeting re: temple fundraiser

I think the thing later today will be an errand/out of the house run.
-groceries
-dry cleaners
-bank
-p/u dogs meds at vet
-get car washed and vacuum it out well (still broken glass, etc)
-get dog poopy bags for walks
-what else?

Good Morning Dear Ladies,

Sunshine here, temp is supposed to hit 80. 8-) 8-)

I've declared today to be a take it easy day. DH is out on service calls and I am out of my sling. Told him I would work on his taxes and do other computer work or just sit in my chair.

I grab my blouse when I get up, as a reminder not to use that hand. 20 days until I'm completely sling free.

At lunch. Morning went well, except we forgot a document for the lease application. I will email that when I get home.

The henna store has moved so I am just going to pick up a few groceries and then head back to get dh. There is another store with it right by the thrift store. That is a stop I forgot on my list above - we need to empty the car!
