Lilac , It sounds as though everything's coming right along.

It's nice to "see" you again, too. I love your lilac avatar. It reminds me of Nana's lilac tree she's given me, years ago, and how fragrant it is in the late spring - early summer, how my nose/sinuses don't like IT, but it's so beautiful.
LucyLee , Isn't it terrible how we "can" talk ourselves into an anxiety attack?

It plays havoc with my sleep, DH doesn't like to hear a "broken record" either. I'm trying to respect where he's coming from, write in my journal instead, email someone, post or write a letter, to break that cycle. I heard once, how when we get caught into something, which is bugging us, we can ruminate on it, which makes our mood cycle down, to the pits, negatively, into a spiral down-down-down. On the Internet, there's good info on how to break the ruminating cycles, too. Your playing solitaire was something positive, IMHO, to help that cycle. I think solitaire calms us because we need to use our minds, it repeats, and then calms.
Nancy , You lead by example!

I got in my QT, journal writing, etc... later than usual- but I DID it!
Towels are drying, dark clothes are washing, I'll try to do whites/pastels, too, and that will be a LOL catch-up for today.
I was working on my Holidays Chores list, told DH about it, he suggested my not writing 4 stories a WEEK, but try 1 per week instead, because for 3 days, I was a basket case, and suggested I didn't need the pressure of doing so many stories and sending them, in one week. I told him he's write. He thought nothing's wrong with working on stories by hand, during the week, to save to send in once a week. I've been competing with a co-writer, who HAS to write for a LIVING, I don't, because of S. S. for DH and me, each, DH's pension, etc.. I told DH this is a good thing because it gives me time for self-care, reading, the house, family, friends, the Village, pen pals, crochet, and those are a lot of things I enjoy. If I was writing and sending off a story every 2 - 3 days, I'd be so busy, I wouldn't be able to enjoy those other things, which bring me so much comfort and joy, peace, and it's therapeutic, fun, and worthwhile. Good clean school girl fun, too.

So I decided to lighten up the writing work load, to have time for other things. I need to be good to myself.
