Caroling Saturday

Post by bittersweet »

According to my weird holidays calendar, today is Go Caroling Day (or Games Day or Sangria Day...take your pick  )

What song will you be humming today?

Yes, I'm up much earlier than needed once again. I have to work today (then I'm off until after Christmas), and I'm going to be seriously tired by the time I get home!

Off to deal with my critters so I can have five minutes peace to figure out what I'm going to do with the two hours before I have to leave for work.

Critters are dealt with, and the clean dishes from last night are put away. I think I'll work in threes this morning since I have a little over an hour and a half before I have to head out.

Round one:

- find and empty two bags in the living room (I have a bad habit of using re-usable shopping bags as catchalls/huge purses, and then leaving them all over the place)
- put/throw away 10 things from my computer desk
- put 10 things in the basket to go upstairs

Good Morning Bittersweet! Thank you for the start this morning. Hope your day goes well.

I have been listening to Holiday music on Amazon Prime Stations. The Country Classic station appeals to me mostly, but I do switch it up between the other stations available.

We arrived home late last night from a fast paced but enjoyable trip to visit our children and 3 of the Grandchildren. DMom opted to not go with us because of the flu epidemic in the area we were visiting. Hopefully we didn't catch the flu bug and bring it home with us.

My top 5 today -
1. LO to see Santa? Picture? I'll leave this decision up to LO. If he wants to sit on Santa lap we will do it.
2. Bob & crew at 8am to go over what repairs needs to be done from the BH home inspection.
3. Christmas play practice at 4pm
4. Assemble 300 Christmas fruit, candy, nuts bags at church
5. Process 4 days of MPB gross bags.
6. Order microwave
7. Learn to count to 5.
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

Love the fact that some of us can't count to 5.

Goood Morning All.

BS is up and BP is down this morning. So I must make the effort to move move move today.

Need one more swipe thru the guest room/den to put away the stuff that has crept from other rooms trying to find a place to hide. Almost like trailer ooze that I used to complain about.

Need about an hour in our bedroom to find the top of the dresser and side tables and to dust and vacuum.

Also time to freshen all the bed linens for the guest room.

Keep up with dinner, dishes and duds for us.

First up is breakfast and meds. TTFN

LOL I think LadyM can count to five just fine! She just sorta forgot to stop there!

I got the last round done, plus got dressed and spent some time snuggling with Tommy Troublemaker. There should be time to squeeze in one more short round before I head out the door.

Round 2:

- empty one more bag in the living room
- put 10 more things in the basket to take upstairs
- take out trash

Morning everybody! Hi bittersweet. It's nice when you pop in.

Not going Caroling. Or Sangria, LOL! And it's a work day here, not a games day.

Got a LOL washed and hung up. Got the rest of the gifts wrapped and then I washed and dried one of our old recycle bins and found a couple big bags and I have everything ready to put in the car. Oh, I always think when I'm at this stage..do I have enough...and I wish there was more and better...

Making a store list. Cleaning up wrappings once again. General pick up all over house needs done. Was sorta waiting on DH, but I called him and he is doing ok. I know at some point I must drive a truck over. But I'll continue on until he needs me...
