TUESDAY TA-DA'S
Can you accomplish some "ta-da's" today? My day will be mostly running so not sure how many I'll have.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MT! Hope you get a chance to drop by today.

Re: TUESDAY TA-DA'S
Jury duty (aaaaaagh!) again today. Hoping I don't get on a jury but OTOH where is my civic responsibility these days? I have a 5:30 meeting at temple also.

Re: TUESDAY TA-DA'S
Have to take dh to his db's this morning. After that I have Women's meeting at church. After that I'm going to lunch with dsisil and her 2 dsisters (for her birthday). So the day will be pretty well shot by the time I get back home. There's dishes in the sink -awaiting my return.
Trying very hard to get my 'steps' in each day -means a lot of just plain walking around the house.
Hope you all have a good day. Twins, thinking of you today. Nothing like going for jury duty when you're not feeling well. Not like you can call in sick!

Re: TUESDAY TA-DA'S
Good morning, villagers ~
Thanks for opening the thread today, Dee.
Sorry you have jury duty and a late meeting today, Twins'Mom, but glad you are feeling well enough to go to them.
I didn't get back here to post yesterday, I was so tired from working with DMom and DSis. Visits with OldestDSis take a lot of energy and patience ... but we stayed on task and finished the project of going through her storage boxes and her closet to downsize her stuff. She did a great job in letting things go, but it was a very long process. DMom and I had to hold up each item 1 by 1 and ask DSis if she wanted to keep it. Each and every item in 4 large boxes plus her closet. Thankfully, her closet is very small so that took the least amount of time; she did not have any trouble making decisions about clothes that could go to Goodwill.
I'm glad I went up. DMom was totally exhausted even with my help.
And it all reinforced my determination that this is the year I will downsize all the stuff that DH and I have let accumulate in our house. Every time I am able to clear a cubic foot of space with my little crate, it makes me feel better.
On my way home from DSis's, I stopped at a neighboring Tiny Town grocery store to pick up the ingredients for the salad I'm taking to the pot luck at work today. The outdoors temperature was cold enough that I left the groceries in the car while I went in the post office and made a brief stop at the library to take apart the Lego Club displays from last month's meeting.
By the time I unloaded the car, it was time to start cooking supper and I never did get back to my own project I had hoped to do yesterday.
Today's big event will be the staff meeting at the library. I am hoping I will be given my work schedule for the next couple months because I am feeling unsettled about it.
Other than that meeting, the rest of the day's adventures will include
* fix supper in the crockpot before the meeting
* make a salad to take to the meeting
* laundry
* filing for the sewing group and other prep for Thursday's meeting
* DPCs

Re: TUESDAY TA-DA'S
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMPTYNESTER!
Today I have a lot of cleaning to do because I didn't make a lot of progress yesterday, despite not leaving the house. Today I need to run to the store and pick up a few items. It is to be another 70 degree day. We are getting spoiled.
Yesterday dh trimmed the garage window. It looks great.
I better eat and get busy.

Happy Birthday MT!
LucyLee - To send an email in Outlook = CTRL + Enter. I know this information is too late to help with yesterday frustration but maybe it will help if you need to do it again.
The first 4 hours of my day has went well. Stayed on track and kept ahead of things. LO delivered to school with zero drama. DD just came to pick up DGD3. I have a 8 whole hours with zero child care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to do so many things that I'm frozen with indecision. Moving is top of the list of things I want to do....however I need a vehicle to do that. HOPEFULLY our pickup will get out of repair shop today AND nothing else break on it.
Going to work my cards and see how far I can get through them.

Thanks, LadyM!
We are here. I'm already crazy. Got to her house at 7:00 as planned. She was not ready till 7:40. Still made it almost on time... But glad I didn't tell her I'd be there at 7:30! *** sheesh ***
