Check it out Wednesday

Good Morning Ladies
Today finds me checking in with 2 Doctors,my Primary Care Dr is at 9, and my Cardiologist is at 2, after his office rescheduling it 3x I took a later time just to get it done, Dh and I both prefer the earliest times.
In between times, will go to Cos tco for our monthly shopping, if everything goes as planned hope to finish up the shelves I started yesterday, I would say 85% of the things I cleared up went straight to the trash pile to take to dump this weekend.
Best get moving, if not back later, hope veveryone has a good day :)

This afternoon Dh and I are checking out the cabinet company that we saw at a home show - that may be doing the built ins in our Great room. They came out and did preliminary measuring and talked to me about what I wanted, and then give you a ball park price. If you want to look further at it, you go into their office where they show you the plan, discuss finish and other options and finalize pricing. So while it's a lot of money, this is something that has had me scared to move forward now for almost 3 years because I didn't want to do the wrong thing.

So I also need to run some errands today:
-groceries
-banks (mine and ds's)
-cleaners
-Michaels (I actually need something from there!)
-temple to sign cks
-what else?

I also need to get started outside, the constant rain made me not want to do anything outside. I have a raised planter bed to assemble (planter, Dee. who misunderstood when I posted about it last week.)

Anyway, busy day so I need to get moving instead of sitting here any longer
-s2s quickly
-breakfast/meds/dog meds
-start a lol (already sorted)
-clear and wipe kitchen counters

And she's off....

(planter, Dee. who misunderstood when I posted about it last week.)
 :D

I've got a lol to the dryer, took care of clean dishes and washed up the few dirty ones. I like keeping the dishes done up -no matter how few. Was going to strip the bed/wash my sheets but did another load instead this morning. Perhaps I'll do that little job in the morning.

Read for a little while -finished off a book. Will probably start another later today.

Been trying to decide whether to make a W mart run this morning. At the least it would get in some extra steps. Don't have that much to get but wanted to get some shredded cheddar for some soup I'm eating over the next few days.

Tomorrow I have to meet dsisil and her 2 dsisters at O live G for lunch for the youngest's birthday tomorrow. Then have to go by A ldi's to pick up garden hoses and some faucets for dd.

Friday I have work at church again, but I don't think I'll have too much to do. One of our resident pastors is preaching this week (while regular pastor & wife are on a trip to TX). We actually have 6 retired pastors attending our church (most of which are transplants from the north).

Not feeling quite as chipper this morning, but still better than I was feeling. Sure it's going to take me time to recover. Not unusual for me. When I've had a bad cold or a bug, it usually takes the wind out of my sails for some time.

Kept asking dh if I should come home before this surgery. He keeps saying no and "besides I'd have to clean house for 3 days before you got here and I don't have time". :? :) I know that feeling. Whenever something like that was going on and my MIL would talk about coming we'd always try to head her off. Having her there when something was already occupying our minds, time and spirit was more than any of us could handle. Now my Mom could have come at any time but dh's Mom was high maintenance when she was with us!! Any precarious situation was made worse by her presence. Isn't that awful to admit? But even dh felt that way and then some.

I've got the weekly kitchen chores done.

Surfer Dude called (I was thinking of him this morning) and he'll join us on Thursday night when we go to the Escher display. I sent an email to the kids confirming and letting them know their honorary cousin will be there too. (He lives in Germany now and splits his work between there and Tanzania.)

I've already checked out tire stands so there's might be room in our parking spot for my bike. I have to get it through 4 doors and the elevator in before biking anywhere, making it faster to walk to the grocery store than to bike (since I also have to take time to lock/unlock the bike at the store.) So I haven't been out yet this year, despite moving my bike into the living room where it is handy. The local store has 29 in stock and it is on sale for half price so we'll run over and pick one up today.

My deep cleaning focus this week is the office and there will be major changes in there. But dh is on a conference call right now so that's why I haven't started there.

I still have to s2s so will do that now. My jeans are in the wash, but I'm sure I own other clothes. Actually, I was sure I bought 2 pairs of jeans before I left on the trip but can't find the second pair. Must look up the sales receipt.

Edited to add: looked up the sales receipt. Bought 2 pairs, returned one.

Speaking of raised beds: I was thinking you could put in grow lights under a raised mattress and at least start seedlings in there! Then I remembered my cousin had his 6' long snake in a terrarium built under his bed.

Good morning!
- a.m. routine is done, except for teeth care (QT, s2bf, self-care, kitchen is tidy, bed is made)
- bfast: tea and banana
- lots of emails: moms group, Wed. dinner crew, dh. He's emailing me from the plane as it crosses the Atlantic.
- dw is running; it's not full but I figure dh will appreciate that when he gets home
- quick tidy of MBR done
- load of kitchen laundry is twirling
- some thinking on moms group teaching has happened; I have a simple visual which I might incorporate.

Next:
- work on moms group teaching

Later:
- prep for class this afternoon
- payroll
- finish putting together handout and teaching notes
- dinner: beef, rice, peanut sauce for dipping, roasted fresh veggie - I think I got asparagus??
- go over teaching with dh, if he's awake enough this evening
- run through speaking parts
- make a review sheet for BRW class tomorrow
- print presentation assessment rubrics for ISL class tomorrow
- print out presentation question forms for ISL class tomorrow; I'm trying to require them to write 1 question per student presenter to help keep them focused. And 1 or 2 students will be asked to pose their question after each presentation. Understanding and answering questions as well as asking them is part of the process. :)

If dh can stay home tomorrow morning, I can go straight from moms group to work, and that will save me time tonight. I can finish other prep for 2 classes once at work

Good morning!

It was cloudy and a few raindrops this morning, but we could see it was clearing, thank goodness. I did the truck run this morning. Between that and picking up 2 guys I'm out on the road about an hour. I'll sure be glad when this job's done, then I won't have to be up so early and out the door. Today I was wondering how I ever worked full time and got out the door early every day.

Puttering around. Picture fell off the wall. I tried to put a fixture on the back of the frame and broke the glass. I should not have been hammering on it with the glass still in. Got another piece of glass from other frame and fixed and the 2nd picture fell off the wall and I had to fix that. I'm not good at this stuff, but if I waited for DH, it'd never get done!

Stayed up too late last night working on photo album and I'm a bit tired today.

Brought in the laundry and put away. Finished a book. Trying to decide what to do today, the day is going by fast.

Morning y'all...

No headache this morning. Shot sit still a it sore but after more than a dozen shots in one area it's to be expected. I kept ice on it last nite and that helped.

I worked yesterday at a near by hs and had a grand time, but I did come home exhausted and went to bed early. Lots of catch-up to do around the house and have several must due errands as well.

I also work tomorrow and fri. All the assignments were made before my shots and I want to honor them because it was the kids requests for me to sub. That makes me smile plus it means the kids are easy to work with.

Off to start my day. Sadie the wonder dog has eaten and we have enjoyed our just us time. Willis is "talking" to me telling me it's his turn now. I will swap them out at the toth. Meanwhile I need to get dress and start my day.

Waving to y'all... Enjoy your day :-)
