(planter, Dee. who misunderstood when I posted about it last week.)
I've got a lol to the dryer, took care of clean dishes and washed up the few dirty ones. I like keeping the dishes done up -no matter how few. Was going to strip the bed/wash my sheets but did another load instead this morning. Perhaps I'll do that little job in the morning.
Read for a little while -finished off a book. Will probably start another later today.
Been trying to decide whether to make a W mart run this morning. At the least it would get in some extra steps. Don't have that much to get but wanted to get some shredded cheddar for some soup I'm eating over the next few days.
Tomorrow I have to meet dsisil and her 2 dsisters at O live G for lunch for the youngest's birthday tomorrow. Then have to go by A ldi's to pick up garden hoses and some faucets for dd.
Friday I have work at church again, but I don't think I'll have too much to do. One of our resident pastors is preaching this week (while regular pastor & wife are on a trip to TX). We actually have 6 retired pastors attending our church (most of which are transplants from the north).
Not feeling quite as chipper this morning, but still better than I was feeling. Sure it's going to take me time to recover. Not unusual for me. When I've had a bad cold or a bug, it usually takes the wind out of my sails for some time.
Kept asking dh if I should come home before this surgery. He keeps saying no and "besides I'd have to clean house for 3 days before you got here and I don't have time".

I know that feeling. Whenever something like that was going on and my MIL would talk about coming we'd always try to head her off. Having her there when something was already occupying our minds, time and spirit was more than any of us could handle. Now my Mom could have come at any time but dh's Mom was high maintenance when she was with us!! Any precarious situation was made worse by her presence. Isn't that awful to admit? But even dh felt that way and then some.
