Sheltering April Declutter Strategy, 2020
Welcome to our thread! We chat here about fighting the good fight against clutter and enjoying our lovely homes. April in 2020 may be a month in which we have more time at home to create the space we crave and provide calmer surroundings. What are your plans for the month as we stay at home?

I don't know if it counts as decluttering, but I cleaned the spice shelf and dumped out the "dead" spices and refilled the old containers with new stuff. With some stuff, you can tell it's no good simply by the colour, When dried parsley becomes pale yellow, it's no good.
The nutmeg had no smell, so it's gone too. Dh will take the very heavy bag of garbage to his work tomorrow.

We did the same thing here this past week, Cathy. Cleaned out the 2 shelves of spices, etc. We had bought stick on (hope they stay) spice racks for some of the smaller cans/jars on their pantry doors. There were many, as you said, that were way beyond their prime or duplicates. Looks so much better!

dh and I cleaned out the pool stuff out of the garage, (our park district closed their outdoor pool for the whole year - just found out). I guess I could have pushed my pool along for another year but it's too late on that. Motor etc. is gone
