Just kidding about the chocolate, but yes, the day after Valentines, Easter, and Halloween are epic for marked down candy.

I'm heading to the library this morning to look up a few more records, and look at a few more books for possible content. Dh has bowling tonight, so I don't have to cook, and I have a Zoom meeting at seven p.m. too.

Heading to a.m. routine and shower now.

OMGosh! Dh gave me a few bags of sugar-free chocolates for Christmas and I still have most of them. Then he got me 2 boxes of Sugar-free chocolates for Valentine's Day (they were buy one/get one free). I might still have them for 4th of July at this rate. Please don't buy me any more chocolates this year!

Have a LOL going. Went into the laundry room first to be sure dsonil didn't have clothes still in there. Surprise! He evidently folded them and got them out of the laundry room. Knew he had the dryer going yesterday.

Dsonil is still waiting for his Jeep to be finished fixing. It's been at the dealer's in Bartow for over 2 weeks now. Just when they think they have it fixed something else is found (they have a lifetime warranty which Chrysler tried to buy back a few years ago but they declined. Costs them $100 to have items under warranty fixed. It's been a great buy.) By the time they get done dsonil will almost have a new car. As it was they got a 'steal' on this one. Had 600 miles on it and had been lost in the lot and they got it for $14,000! Why sell it Yesterday it wouldn't start for them and they found the starter faulty. Had one coming this am from Orlando -supposedly. Think we all know how hard parts are to come by.

Still a bit cool here today -but just wait! Tomorrow it's supposed to be 79, then 85, Thursday, 84 Friday. Will definitely be watching Nashville temps for next weekend. Know it's supposed to rain there Tuesday & Wednesday. Think dh & dd's wardrobe may completely change. Did mention to them that they might think about taking rain ponchos -rather than having to buy them there at a steep cost most likely. Hey, if they take them, maybe it'll be like carrying an umbrella and it won't rain.

Me not celebrating this week bc my val is in heaven and it is a challenge I am trying to avoid thing to do wit V day. Just saying.

I seem to be having phone issues it is not charging. Sigh...
It was fine then just stopped ... I did look it up some do this bc of saving battery life I guess.
I am concerned. It is working for now. I got a refurbished one a couple of years ago. Thinking on this.
Amazing how much we depend on our phones now days.

I post here with my pc or my tablet, both are not new either...

No rain today. I am glad for that. Got trash out to the curb.
Had bfast trying to get through my journaling planning routine.

Update ~
Thanks Dee that was the first thing I did was to turn it off / on.
Tried the other charger no difference with it.

Sewing & pressing seams today unless something changes. X
Trash is at the curb x
Pressed pinned and sewed a seam made good progress on my project.
Got it right side out so that helps. I designed this so there are no directions it is making me thing that is a good thing I suppose.
I still need to press pin & sew the next part, then decide on how I want the bottom to fall I need to cut some first before pressing and pinning.
Tried it on and a nice comfy fit so that helped!

I am feeling better now!
Trips up and down the stairs counts for something

Sometimes if you turn off your phone completely, Nancy, and then turn it back on it will reboot. Who knows with all these gadgets today. Mine is a refurbished as well and the charge doesn't last all that long. But for now I just keep charging it and refuse to buy a new one anytime soon. (If I can help it).

Finally changed our Christmas tablecloth -it was actually "Winter"- on our table. Wonder how long it will take dd to notice. But, I can only find one of our placemats???? Will have to ask dd tomorrow. They have a special event at school today for incoming freshmen. So, she won't be home till after 8 tonight -past our bedtime.

Been sitting here watching the process of 'tenting' the house across the street. Have no idea what they're planning to do with this house but they've been sure working around and in it for several weeks. I'd say selling, but we've heard not. (The owner passed away a couple of months ago or so.)

My first PWYC post of the day. I was here earlier today but was OBE and never got to post.

We just finished homeschooling for the day. We took a lunch break and went to the grand opening of Braum's store a few miles away. It was packed with a mile long waiting line to get into the parking lot. They were preparing as could be to handle the deluge of customers and it went smoothly.

I added the 8th routine to my day. Each routine consists of 5-15 cards. Tiny little tweaks made consistently are working for me.
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.
When life gets difficult, learn to sing & dance in the rain.

You must share your routines again, LadyM -- you are so inspiring to me!

Here -- it seems we (I) have forgotten what the word (routines) means!
I skipped my teacher group today because (1) I didn't want my cough to scare anyone and (2) every time I eat, my stomach starts gurgling and I'm afraid I'll need to go to the restroom in a hurry, and (3) I'm just tired and don't feel well.

And finally, I felt I should be home when The Man came to work on my dryer AND light fixture AND dishwasher.
All are now in good order apparently, and he only charged us $110. And he was probably here a couple hours. The dryer mainly just needed a good cleaning out -- the vent hose had gotten kinked up so that lint was blocking the airway. The light fixture did NOT need a new ballast (?) as dh suspected; new bulbs solved that problem nicely. And the dishwasher apparently never was properly installed, but a couple screws and it will no longer try to fall out of the cabinets when the drawers are pulled out. We felt $110 was pretty reasonable for all that! He also looked at my leaking bathroom faucet, but we told him it was not leaking enough to replace the faucet, so we just left well enough alone on that detail.

I've really done nothing today but the laundry is going again
and dh wants KFC pot pie again for supper. That is fine with me -- although I may stop at local bar-b-que spot.

WHAT is suddenly going on with my cursor on the computer???? It looks like it is ahead of the letter it is supposed to be typing and
it makes me skip spaces where I did not intend to. I think it used to be after the letter I typed. How strange .... I know something has changed about this...
I can't tell that I've started a new line until I'm one space into it. ?????
Tomorrow is another day.
