My dcleaning lady just walked in to do her magic! I think I'm ready for her. I need to do some errands today and generally catch up on things.

Lucylee, so glad you were able to get there to help your dmom out. I'm sure she's embarrassed.

Yesterday was a let it go day mentally -
I am going to use the timer today.

dd older is with dd younger in Florida. I am happy she got out of Chicago before the snow came. She is happy too!!

dh put 2 of the mouse traps in the basement - I wanted 4 but he did 2 - I am happy he did it.
dishes are done - need to empty it.
I did the cat litter - now to put the next change date on my calendar
I miss both girls but am happy that they are enjoying a trip to Sanibel
it's so cool - our neighbor's son has his friends playing hockey - I love that. I am thinking of making brownies or cookies to give to the boys

so far:
took care of emails
took care of toll way - they are charging me even though I have a pass - I did add money to my account but I still had funds on it.
took care of dh's bathroom - kind of. - he didn't say a word to me when he came up - yay -
looked for put away/garbage/recycling upstairs

Yikes Lucylee … glad your moms alright.

Harmony… I’m sort of living with a closet like that at the moment, and except for this funeral just might be able to pull it off. I know if I find I can live with my at the moment closet then maybe I could do it in the future

I’ve already realize that I need far less stuff than I have. Decided that with the exception of my China and glass wear, if I don’t use it here I’m going to get rid of it… that includes clothes

Sweetie is hanging a drapery rod for me and I’m washing windows. Already cleaned and mopped the master bathroom the best I can. The owner just painted over the dirt and the baseboards are impossible to get clean.

We went for a walk last night and I told Sweetie I am really happy living here… not necessarily this house. Don’t think I fully understood how much I truly missed the green grass, trees and of course the water. I grew up between two rivers that emptied into the ocean and most of growing up was spent in both so this feels like home to me

So far just me, bw2 and now RR? So quiet here in the village!

We had torrential rain for awhile last night then the temp dropped overnight. Dcleaning lady said she had a bit of snow on her car this a.m. on the mountain. It was cold out but I ran my errands - new battery for car clicker, picked up meds at drugstore, and got my new license plate. I feel good about getting those done. The battery wasn't dead for the car clicker and I wanted to get that done before it was totally gone and had to be reprogramed. This is the year that we get new license plates, not just a renewal sticker. I've tried the website numerous times and my transaction wouldn't go through, so I went to the courthouse. Wanted to get there before the end of the month, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Found a meter with 30 min left on it, and didn't even use all of the time!

Dh is home - he's trying to work a short day on Friday - but he's on the phone right now.

emptied dw and filled with things I found around the house and fridge
turned that on
I am planning on making mushroom farro soup for dinner
looked through my seeds and adding them to my calendar for planting
I love floret flower seeds - they do sell out fast!
flip flop laundry
I finished getting rid of things in the last box I had to declutter
trained dogs a bit
received 2 beautiful garden books today - excited to read them

bw2, today should have been the day to be nice to a grouch, because my dh is grouchy over my Instacart order. He says it's too expensive and I should be shopping and going after it.

Yeah, and I'm not feeling very nice to this grouch.
