What's that I hear? "Jump in the line?" Oh, my feet are tapping.

Oh, Twins' did not get here quite in time to save ya'll from that silly start!

I DO, i DO hear a conga and want to jump in that line and swish and swipe. It will have to wait until I get back from my dr's appt this a.m., but boy do I need some house-cleaning time! I'll be swinging 'round the household when I come back.

Mystery, that is so nice that your dd has a roommate who will take class notes and share when necessary and care about her having a good experience. Yuck, I don't know if I could have driven with a window down, no matter how much it helped otherwise!

LOL, Harriet, I love your silly starts. And I am slow moving this morning so glad to have you ahead of me!

I had a bad night and I'm just now on my second cup of coffee. I have a cold, runny nose and sore throat. Or something. Last night I didn't wear CPAP after about midnight.

And I don't know if I should do a covid test or not with dh away. What if I have it and have exposed him? I did tell him and dfriend who is with him that I had a little sore throat on Wed. a.m. before they left. And I'm trying to remember when I was even out of the house before Wednesday.

I need to get a shower this a.m. - the "product" that the stylist put in my hair on Wed. makes me feel even dirtier. Perhaps if I shower first, I'll feel more like getting on with the day?

Throw up in the car is a familiar situation to me because I get car sick so easily. A couple of plastic grocery bags in the glove box (check for holes and double bag!) works as a barf bag or trash bag. So sorry Mystery. My kiddos did that now and then when they were growing up and the stink is awful!

Last weekend one of DS48 friends and his son spent many hours in our home. I knew the father/son by their first names and didn't know a lot more about them other than the two families have children the same age. I've met them before and know they frequently vacation with DS48 and family. The two families bubbled together during c19 restrictions and became very close. ANYway, last weekend while the boys were riding bikes, the adults sat in our living room and visited about many subjects for several hours. I found the friend to be fascinating and able to explain complex things in simple ways. He kept us laughing as he told stories of being fresh out of college and acting as an interpreter when EU countries were meeting that resulted in changing their national currency to the euro in the largest currency changeover in history. Hour after hour we filled the time with me asking him random questions and he would answer with many stories and experiences. This morning I grew curious about what he did professionally, so I looked up his name. I'm soooo glad I didn't have a clue last weekend because I would have been intimidated about having him in our home. I am thankful that I only knew him as a dad and friend of DS48. AND I am thankful for doing weekly home cleaning, so our house was not a total mess.

my brain needs a conga!

I have the junk company came - one of the men (really nice! even carried my new arbor into the garage for me to paint. - our big freezer accidentally became unplugged again for the final time for me; (last time was 2 days ago by the time I notice it. I could sell it but I don't like people that I don't know in my home.
the Great Dane size dog crate went - same with the wood bench we have had for 40 years. It's done!!

my dh is going through his things before it goes back into his closet.

I am hoping to join you today and cheer you on as you always cheer me on.
I am grateful for all of you!

I was doing a slow dance version this morning. Not much to tidy for the cleaning lady this week.

Finally had a good night's sleep -I did not take any benadryl last night and will continue NOT taking it for a while & see what happens. I so needed that!

DS-R arrived at Orlando nearly an hour late yesterday -because of the bad weather. He said they ended up circling about 75 miles out for quite a while. It was pretty bad here. Dsonil said I-4 was horrible coming home -made really good time going IN to the airport.

DS is battling gout in his right foot and it's still quite swollen. He just told me last night after having had his 2 Covid shots and exposed at home (and at work) to DDIL & DGS17 both having Covid -he actually had it a couple of weeks ago. Luckily it seems a milder case. He and dh have gone to the hospital to see Dbil. Hopefully he will be going home today at least for a while. He still has to have a body scan and will start some sort of treatment for the brain cancer. Tomorrow afternoon is Dsisil, Percy's, Memorial Service at the house. Not sure yet just when DS & DH are leaving for the north.

We had wanted to get a new car by now, but just not happening. I noticed yesterday that our car will be out of warranty probably by the time they get back up north. We really wanted to trade before that happened.

DGS17 went back to his orthopedist (broken tibia) for a final check on Wednesday. The assistant checked him over & asked a bunch of questions, then our dfriend ortho, came in and did the same thing. (DH and DS have both known this Dr through go-cart racing for years and have become good friends. They both trust him implicitly but unfortunately he's soon to retire). DS-R asked him what HE would tell DGS if he was his son. Dr. said, "I'd let him play (Lacrosse). But, you have to realize there's somewhat of a risk. But then there's a risk doing most anything." So DGS will be back on the field this week playing varsity lacrosse. (Praying here but that's what Grandmas are for, right?)

DH & DD worked the Orlando Solar Bears hockey game last night. It'll be dh's last one this season. They played Norfolk last night & Wednesday. Lost 4/1 Wed & won 7/2 last night. Crazy. Wednesday was "Pride Night". Guess it was VERY poorly attended. Dh said they maybe had 200 in the stands -last night there was over 6,000. He and DD got their Orlando cups refilled with soda and the guy told them they sold 2 whole cups of coffee the night before. (They share the arena with the Orlando Magic & the Magic are incidentally their mother company -even though they're under the Tampa Bay Lightning).

Been 'updating' all my lists. (Avert your eyes, Harriet). Made appointments for dh with his GP and his pulmonologist. 2nd one isn't till September, but got him in to see his GP on the 19th of April. Have lots of questions for him. Guess now I better get busy with other things.

Blessed - it is great to see your CI. I have been wondering how your home renovation is going. BWTG on the decluttering!

Dee - you are doing great with making progress and organization of things that need to be done. POTB!

I ordered 100 prefilled Easter eggs and then got our plastic eggs out of storage. I should have done this in reverse because there is an abundance of plastic eggs on hand. Ohs well. I filled 100 of the plastic eggs on hand and then I became bored with the process. I might do another 100 later or I might just call 200 eggs good enough. I think this will be DD10 last year hunting eggs.

DH volunteered to take the container of loose change to the bank to use their coin counter. I made a new instruction label for the change bank combination because it was becoming faded and hard to read.

Next up -
** vacuum or mow. Both need to be done so I might alternate between them.

i vacuumed 4 rooms and then realized it was time to get lunch cooked. That took 30 minutes to accomplish. Another 30 minutes to eat and then I will return to the vacuum and mowing.
