When I get busy I forget to take one day a week to regroup. How about you?
Is there a day this week that you can have some time for you to breath?
Do you have ideas on what you would like to do this week? Is there people to see, phone calls to make, errands to run, work to be done?
I would love to hear!
Wishing you a beautiful day and a beautiful week (may it bring you contentment and peace).

Yes thank you K in C!
For me I am a bit stiff and sore from weekend activities..
I slept well. Bs is up.
70* is our forecast hi temp. Here today new tulips blooming to appreciate.
I have been outside and watered the birds.
I need to hydrate. Have cranberry juice now.
Did up the dishes.
Trying to do a few of the daily's that I have ignored doing the basement since Fri.
I have had my lunch and walked the dog, watered the lawn out front.
Pruned two roses and picked up afterward as well.
Went to ice cream place met some folks from church.
Did the dishes.

Thank you to Kathryn & Ken for restoring the SHE board this morning!
What a night we had in my little corner of the world. It stormed all night long with tornadoes being sighted, lightning abundant and hail in nearby places. We have no electricity, but they predict it to be restored by 12:30pm today. The whole house generator kicked on without a problem. We received just shy of 5" rain last night with more being predicted for today. All-in-all the storm was kind to us. We have no long-term damage.
Church has been cancelled this morning due to no electricity.
DGS25 was going to come for lunch, and we were teaming up to enroll him in his last semester of college (We pay). However, he got an offer to work so we have rescheduled his time here until tomorrow after his primary job.
I need to regroup and make a plan for today.

Morning…
I’ll join in thanking Kathryn and Ken!
LadyM… glad you didn’t experience any storm damage.
Nancy… rest up as you plan you week.
Blessed… glad to see your smilin’ face
I worked most of yesterday on our closet and again this morning. I am almost finished and then will start on my kitchen. I’d like to get most of the unpacking done by Thursday. Will need a few play days after that.
Back to work… waving to y’all. Enjoy your day

Dh and I have been working outside and bickering, kind of good natured. We're both in charge, unfortunately. He took care of getting the old soil out of the two little garden beds and I refilled them and got my one tomato out and watered. He's a mission to rid the yard of carpenter bees and wants to hang those little traps everywhere. It's a beautiful day - he's gone to Home Depot for more traps I think, and will get me more of the soil while he's there.
Garden talk: I realized I don't have zinnia seeds and was able to order burpee seeds from Amazon. They don't go out for a couple of weeks yet. Zinnias do best from seeds but they don't germinate until the soil is warmer. The tomato plant already had some blooms and a miniscule tomato, but I planted it deep so we won't see results there. It's too early for them to really ripe anyway, I think.
I'm going to putter some outside - sweep some corners. I know the pollen will be back by Friday but I can get rid of some of the winter dust.
And Thank you to K and K! Kudos!

I've been to the garden and checked on each plant. The rabbits came through the storm with no problems. We do need to get another cage because one rabbit cage is on the ground level. Being ground level during gully washing rains is not optimal. That rabbit did have a place to jump up and sit a few inches off the ground during the storm. Eeeks! I just realized one of DD10 rabbits is one week away from having baby rabbits. We need to get nesting box for her to prepare.
I filled the instant pot with potatoes and onions. We have an assortment of leftovers (meat and vegetables) available.

Yes, big thanks to Kathryn and Ken, who did their magic while I slept. I never even knew there was a problem! But if I’d awakened to no SHEs… panic attack!!! What WOULD I do without you ladies???
Also glad LadyM and family survived the storms. That may be headed our way tomorrow. So far, just thunderstorms are predicted here.
Peace-filled? Well, maybe that’s a stretch…
Just a normal Sunday here + extra Nana-duty.
Dgd didn’t go to church; she was throwing up last night. I hope it was just a 24-hour bug. I’m not good with stomach trouble…

I am wearing down and it's getting hotter outside. I've been cleaning up outside - various things. Dusting, getting pollen off, shining. Of course it's still pollen season. Dh may have decided to put the "party" lights back up on the screened porch. He's gone looking for those command strip things that will attach them up high. I think he's going to have to add a second string of lights (the old ones we took down when the old porch was demolished) and add some of that string and then cut it and cap off the end. I know it can done. (Our friend "A" can tell him how!)
Dd is coming at 5:30 and we'll eat out and then she and I will head to ATL. I need to pack what I need for an overnight.

Did something happen with the boards?
I was discouraged last evening because the 2nd soaker hose had a hole in it straight out of the packaging. This one from A-River, while the first, which has done well, was from a busy home improvement place, so perhaps from more quick-moving stock.
Will have to give credit.
HRH fixed it within a few minutes of seeing the problem. I had been on YouTube and had been learning what to buy, then what tools you needed to use that product, etc. He asked me if I'd forgotten he spent decades as a plant manager and jack-of-all-trades. I wish he'd been with me last evening when I realized the problem, but I decided it was getting too dark to see it in the poor light. He sort of remade the hose, but it's actually better in the application I have. And now I don't have to return, or lose money, or waste time.
Today I had a more relaxed day, but did set in the plants for the large planter and two baskets.
We had company this evening, who just wanted to hang out in the yard with us.
Then ds came by after his family had attended a semi-pro (semi-semi-pro?) ball game and brought take-out.
