Good morning! I have lots I need to make happen this week. I was up at 7:15ish but have been stuck to this seat since.

I have a 2 p.m. Zoom today.

We're having grilled chicken and broccolini for our supper tonight.

Need to s2s and get a.m. routine underway.

Good Morning!

Twins - thanks for the start today.

My morning is off to a good start. DD10 is back in public school today with a great attitude. The countdown to the end of school is getting exciting because there are only 15 more school days left in this school year!

Homeschool is underway.... although I hear occasional snoring coming from DS13 so I think he is taking naps in between answering questions.

We have nothing on the calendar for today. It is the calm before the storm of a busy week in many ways. This week the calendar shows we have 4 medical appts, 4 hair cut appts, 6 church activities, a birthday to celebrate, and a fish fry. Overshadowing those are 2 days that are predicted to have wild storms (tornados, hail, etc) which have the potential for causing trouble for scheduled activities.

Yesterday was a lovely quiet day and I am happy to have had it.

my hope today:
room by room put away (I am also treating the outside as a room)
hoping to get some painting done - it all depends on if it gets warm enough outside.

hope you all have a wonderful day!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

room by room
Blessedw2 - Good idea! I'll follow along with you today.

Salisbury Steak is on the menu today. I recently stumbled upon Chef John and enjoy his humor and well as his cooking skills.

Next up - Room #1 (my bathroom)

I’m up (for a little while) bc I had to cancel dh’s chiropractor appointment.
Now I’m trying to get in touch with my doctor to see if there is a Plan B, since steroid and z-pack didn’t work.
Tomorrow is another day.

Weeeell. Neither of those dresses will fit. I think there's not enough seam allowance to let them out enough to go around me. They're both fitted through the middle. That means a shopping trip this week.

If I am going to get steps in this week I need to go out now and walk a few laps. I am kind of at a loss as far as what to do next. Feeling a little overwhelmed by the week and stuck on getting started on it.

I walked three laps, that got me to just over 4K steps so I'm on track at least.

Finishing the research report and emailing it out is a must do for this week. I think I'll spend the afternoon on it - I have the Zoom at two so I need to set an alarm to remember.

What is "must do" this week?
-finish and email research report to "client"
-dress for wedding
-call about social security tomorrow a.m. at nine a.m to get through quickly I hope
-card for bat mitzvah in ATL in the middle of our Hilton Head trip

That's reassuring that the "must do" list is not that bad. I could also do the social security thing online but would rather talk to a person.

"Like to do" in order of priority:

-take dcousin to cemetery, scatter dcousin's ashes discretely at his parents' grave. (I called earlier to get directions to aunt/uncle's graves so we can find them, supposed to get a call back this afternoon.)
-finish "document" work for portfolio. It's 90+% done, need to polish and proof
-go to plant nursery for red geraniums, get them into my planters
-get zinnia seeds in ground (kind of contingent on getting sprinkler fixed. )
-recycle glass in garage

Geraniums and document work are pretty much tied. It sure would be nice to have sprinklers on before we go, tho. Dh is sick of me repeating that but I hate to put out plants (already have tomato and basil out) and not have a sprinkler. We haven't much rain and the prospects aren't great in the next week.

I feel better with some priorities set.
