Tuesday PWYC
Or aka "Not Monday" in the U.S. at least.
This is a short week for many of us - what needs to happen today to stay on track?

Re: Tuesday PWYC
Morning y’all…
Yesterday’s working on the cabinet was a bust. After Sweetie and I worked on putting it together, we discovered holes were not drilled where they needed to be and the top part of the cabinet was 1.5”’too wide the the screws that attached the top to the sides of the cabinets were waaaaaayyyy off.
Contacted Amazon and was told to return it. That meant we had to disassemble what we already put together and get it back in the box it came in. Madding!!! Anyway UPS is suppose to pick it back up sometime today. We shall see. I am not amused!
In the meantime my get up and go has already left!
Gonna finish my coffee and enjoy the rest of Perry before I start my day. Routines already done and footprints were removed last night.

what needs to happen today to stay on track?
thank you d twins - I needed this!!!
For me: I think that I will have to go back to routine days (a couple times during the week) as the house falls apart behind me. it's like I am like Pig Pen from Charlie Brown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72DJjyQPnD8 Where ever I go dirt and mess follow behind me. I can blame the dogs but I have a feeling that I am the cause of the mess I leave behind me.
I missed watering in the back - I just didn't want to yesterday. I have to get out there first thing this morning!!!
Get to it will be my motto while I have the energy
I woke up this morning being so grateful for the gift of a new day! What a blessing!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Re: Tuesday PWYC
I'm trying to even up the planters and plants here so it will be off to Lowes for another planter (this replaces one that looks terrible - stained and dirty) and more potting soil. And to the plant nursery from last week for what I couldn't get at Lowes.
I basically have two days this week - we leave on Thursday for wedding.
Today or maybe tomorrow:
-Lowes
-plant nursery
-USPS drop off pkg
-call drugstore re: meds
-call water co re: backflow device inspection - was to have been turned in by inspector but I think they send additional notices without checking to see if turned in
-finish plants for yard, etc.
I'm tired of traveling. bw2, I know what you mean about getting back to routines.
Once we get back home I need to buckle down on the portfolio work. Breakfast, meds, kitchen clean up and out the door. The kitchen is in good shape, just need to straighten up and wipe counters after my breakfast.

Re: Tuesday PWYC
Not even going to try to CUOP -not right now anyway. DD and I got here around noon on Sunday. Pretty good trip except from west of Orlando till after Jacksonville, FL. Then again when we were only 12 miles from here. Held up long time by a horrendous accident. Our time was nothing compared to theirs though, I'm sure.
I'm still feeling tired from the trip -maybe another day or two. Probably my last road trip of that kind. We left around 1pm on Friday.
It's very warm here right now and have the AC going. Need to make an appointment for a haircut asap. Seems it really grew in last couple of weeks.
I'm trying to get our RV back in shape bit by bit (5 minute by 5 minute really).
Good to make it back to Sheville!

Re: Tuesday PWYC
okay - I am struggling with the "I don't want to start!!!!" and " I don't want to but I do want to" - I am letting my lack of focus take over my work ability.
I will have to go to the l*st and then bring out my timer.
I also think marking down the next 3 items would be helpful.
1. hook up new hose
2. the "perfect" me thinks I should water individually in the back but I think I should go with "good enough" with the sprinkler.
3. water agapanthus
praying I don't bounce a check - I thought I had more money than I do. My tax check hasn't cleared yet.
at least all the plumbing checks etc. have gone through.
GOAL: GOOD ENOUGH

Re: Tuesday PWYC
Yes, back in NY state, Blessed. Actually around 25 miles west of Rochester -so not that far from Buffalo/Niagara Falls.
I'm working just a little bit at a time. Realize I'm still quite tired. But when I think (way) back it always took me just about 3 days to recover even from a trip down to our hometown which is about 180 miles from here. So, considering I'm well past 50 years beyond that I shouldn't be surprised that I'm tired. Do worry about dh as he seems quite tired most of the time. And today's heat is really getting to him. I just found a 'tie' that we bought years ago back when dgs22 was racing go-karts all over. You wet it, freeze it and tie it around your neck. He was just in and wet the 'wet hat' that dd gave him for Christmas. He's 'dipping tanks' (measuring septic tanks) today & tomorrow for the entire campground. Think there's around 250 sites now. He dips them ALL 1st of the month then the ones he thinks need it weekly the rest of the month.
DD wanted to get her deck/steps/shed painted/stained this week. But the cotton from the cotton wood trees is already flying big time. Know they always have a tough time through this season with the mowers -plugs them up big time. I've seen the ponds when they're just completely white with so much of that cotton settling.
Just spent 10 minutes unpacking & putting away and am resting for at least 10 then back at it.
