Thursday PWYC Hydration Day

Post by Twins' Mom »

According to the "National Today" calendar, today is National Hydration Day! (Harriet will love this!) Just in time for the heat wave some are experiencing.

Ways to help stay hydrated:
-set a reminder for periodic hydration
-remind your loved ones
-make tasty infused water

Today is cold here compared to the last couple of days. I've taken the compost, garbage and recycling to the end of the driveway. Dh has requested spaghetti and meatballs for supper. He says he is concerned about how much pasta I have been eating since the surgery. I told him it's filling me up and it's easy to eat, so now he's okay with it.

Waving I am up!
Got the hoses rolled up and stuff off the lawn for mowing day.
I am glad that is ready and grass is not wet!
Happy I slept well back is good today yea!

I am airing out the house it felt stuffy this morning.
Instead of stretching I marched around the backyard then did the mowing prep. figured it was good if I just kept moving for that time slot.
I have a meal plan sandwich to make up for later on.
I will do qt s2s & journaling later after I mow.
Laundry could use attn. as well.
bed is made.

Routines could use some attn.
Thanks for the hydration reminder, I need to replace a water bottle I gave one to dgd a while back.
Also could be a fun addition to a gift basket.
Bfast. ☆
Mow ☆
Desk duty ☆

In addition to staying hydrated, I'm resting some today too. Yesterday I was overheated and had vertigo and upset tummy. The vertigo began two days ago when I stretched on the floor, but I had it also yesterday when I reached into the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Even tho it's cooler, I'm skipping the a.m. walk and will go for body work at ten. I'll run errands and get groceries after that, thankfully, it's to be slightly cooler today.

And I left this here as I showered and had my breakfast. Leaving soon.

Just ran to shut off our 2 AC units. They both came on and I don't want to run them if I can help it. It's cooler today but supposed to be hot again on Saturday. Know camp "owner" asked dh yesterday if he was going to move the tubes (for next week's Fireworks show). Dh flat out told him it was just plain too hot and it could wait a day. As it was dh was having a hard time breathing without that extra exertion in the heat. Do we have a 'shaking my head' icon? He is working today and have a feeling he may be working more as one of their groundsmen quit yesterday. Not that he was all that dependable anyway. See they were advertising for a new worker yesterday.

Harriet wrote to Lady M yesterday:
LadyM, I don't think you can ride a bike on Interstates.
I too, know that it's not allowed -at least not in this state, any more than walking is. So, hopefully your dgs15 won't try it.

Off I go to 'surface clean'........................
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Yes, I do love it! Honestly didn't know there was a dedicated day, so I learned something.

Another morning in which I arose to find that HRH had long been up (not unusual - he often has fitful sleep and we spoke at 5-something) and moved a bunch of furniture! Generally, I like it. We had been talking about some of the changes, others made me take a backstep, lol.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Guy!
