Not sparkling here yet, but am inspired. Maybe I'll put a big JoJo Bow in my hair (dgd was big on her last year and I have a couple of bows here to amuse her during our video calls.)

Dgs comes in about 2 hours for his nap while his daddy is out. Today is heavy (noisy) housework day so I need to get moving.

I'm not sparkling at the moment, although I have aspirations.

I did not sleep well last night. First I was still awake reading at 11, then was up a couple of times with cough in spite of doing nose spray. And when I slept I think I was dreaming of genealogy citations. The clock went off 45 minutes before I was up this a.m. and I'm feeling tired. So for now I'm pushing on through and remembering that Monday mornings are always slow starting. I'll sleep better tonight if I don't nap today. But I'll have another cup of coffee, thank you very much!

Temp is dropping here today. High 67 dropping to thirties tonight. I don't think we'll freezer tonight but the cooler weather will be refreshing.

Need to get through a.m. routine and get on with the day. Dh is home late so I'm not cooking. We have leftover chili. I did not finish clean up after we ate last night. I did clean up with prep as I went tho.

Elizabeth - Congratulations on your new job! It was a joy to read your CI and catch up a bit on your doings. Time flies as i think about your DD20 being on her own. Is she still learning toward Veterinary type studies & career?

I worry about you working non-stop day after day especially after going through such a stressful experience of Hurricane and being without utilities for so many days. Can you take an hour or two break and do something fun and relaxing? You certainly deserve it! ((((Hugs))))

I've spent some time analyzing the macros and tweaking my meal plan. Then I put my plan into action and did a little prep for the first two meals for the next 7 days and organized those. Some people like to play video games, do crossword puzzles, etc to relax. This type of analysis, formula writting and mini organization projects are relaxing to me and is a form of pampering. For an hour It was all about me me me. LOL.

DS14 was up and out the door to work early this morning since we have no school today. It is our last day of fall break.

Thanks for that 'reminder', Twins. Gave me hope for what's left of the morning. I actually, even though I didn't get up till near 9am, have accomplished quite a bit.

Ditto what Lady M said, Harmony. Take time for YOU!!

Trying to remember who a second r ubbermaid bowl belongs to. Have to ask dh when he comes in for lunch if he remembers. We've had so many give us this 'n that lately that I'm losing track I'm afraid. Doubt that there'll be any more (unless our 'cooking friend' brings something) this year. I hope he does come around, though not with food as I have a bag of containers for him.

Got so much done outside yesterday. DS-R and DDIL came and took down our sun screens and put on our AC covers. Said they'll be back next weekend if we need anything more. I filled a bin with canned goods on DD's golf cart yesterday afternoon and dh will be taking that down to the rec hall for storage later today.

I revamped my laundry "do what when" list this morning. Think I'll have 3 more loads before they close so I'm closely monitoring. Usually dh takes the load I have prepped and puts it in the washer(s) on his way into work. That way we beat anyone else down there -usually. They're supposed to be closing the laundry room after 4pm on the 24th. The water to the whole campground is being turned off on the evening of the 25th. So we'll have just 3+ days to 'dry dock' (well at least with no water.) We're filling gallon jugs -just a few- to use for flushing and doing dishes or whatever we need. We've been buying drinking water as we're just not really sure about the water coming through the pipes throughout the campground and into the RV. Just one more expense but it's okay.

People are going to be in when they get their electric bill at the end of the season I'm afraid. As with everything else the rate has skyrocketed. Dh reads all the meters after each RV closes up for the season. With around 250 units to do it takes a while to take those readings and a septic tank reading.

I'm a little miffed at DS-A because as always he's waiting till 'the last minute' for dh to winterize his RV. I don't think he realizes what a big deal it is for dh to truck all the equipment to his house and do the winterizing there. As it is he has a helper here doing the grunt of the jobs and next year he's turning it all over to him. He knows he no longer can do it. Hard for him to give it up but we're not getting younger -I know you know of what I speak, Harmony!

I ended up napping. I came upstairs to my desk but the day bed up here by the window just looked so comfortable so I napped. Setting a timer work now...

Home from the first of two trips to the city today. I wish we could have combined the trips into one but there just wasn't any way to accomplish that.
The first trip took care of -
** Appointment with monument people to get DMIL death date added to her headstone. That is now paid for and will be done next time that company comes this way.
** I filled up the SUV with donations this morning. I had such a stack of donations that it wouldn't fit in the back area so I had to lay down 3 seats to get everything to fit. I'm glad to get those things out of the house and hopefully into the hands of people who can use them.
** Filled up with gas
** Visited with Pharmacist about 2 orders of DH that are confusing. I'll pick them up later today.
** Picked up food items while we were at Sam's. It is a constant effort to keep the pantry and freezer stocked.

I'm home for 2 hours and then will leave again for 2nd trip to the city. That trip will include ...
** DS14 appointment with therapist/counselor.
** Pick up DH prescriptions from pharmacy.

We are getting closer to having all of DMIL affairs taken care of. DH went through her billfold and pulled out the cash money she had stashed in the creases and cervices. That money has now been divided between the 3 siblings. The death certificate hasn't arrived yet but I don't think they will be needed. DMIl was receiving monthly income from two retirement systems but neither one of those require a death certificate to stop their monthly deposits into her checking accounts. A phone call to them was all they needed. The only utility was electric, and it has been moved out of DMIl name so we are waiting for the final read-out to pay that.
