Good morning Twins!

So far....

Bed made

call with dh

Wordle complete (actually incomplete, didn't get it this morning)

Light therapy done (along with tea.)

I have a very long list in my head, both for the day and for the rest of the week. Dgs comes on Saturday morning for an overnight so everything has to be done by then.

Last night, ds asked that for Christmas we give him 8 days of babysitting so they can go away. The dates have been set in March and they are off to some place warm. Dh was saying he was already tired thinking about having dgs for a week. This is just before his second birthday. Oh, and ds sent me a video of dgs saying 'baby' very clearly. So there's hope he'll be able to talk more by then. And he doesn't say sheep at his house. So, at this point he seems to have a word for each household, just enough to keep his parents from worrying!

I will be taking the youngest cat to the vet for the second half of her check up. She was too wriggly the last time, so the vet sent us home and re-scheduled so we could use some calming drugs before her next appointment. 4 doses of "Happy Cat" have been given and we are headed out in 30 minutes. After I bring the cat home, I will head out for some errands.

My first ta da was getting up on time, the second was getting the garbage and compost out.

It looks like we're to have rain or clouds for the next week, with partly cloudy predicted now and then, but not much.

I'm getting a tune up for my body again this a.m. - Trying to get things working better and aligned!

bw2 - cat to the vet, oh how I used to hate doing that!

this morning my cell went off with tons of text messages - I thought it was an emergency with d mom from dd younger to dd older.
It turned out to be lovely news for dh's dear cousin - she is a grandmother with the sweetest little grandson (born early this morning).

then I had my snooze on and I kept turning it off - I thought I missed d dogs appointment.
they changed it for me - so nice!!!

my goal is to stay home except for shipping my mom's presents for my d brother and sis in law.

neighbor had presents for their son delivered here bc their son would see what was coming for him - he is 14 - Yesterday the company said that 3 presents were delivered here yesterday and we got nothing. I was gone but dh was home most of the day. I hope they get delivered today.

Happy St. Nicholaus day!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Good Morning!

I am motivated & inspired to do SHE cards since I recently tweaked them. I continue to work on developing better habits. It takes time to get them firmly implemented. I continue to be fascinated how doing 250 steps an hour has a result of exceeding 8,000 steps by the end of the day. Mathematically 250 steps x 12 hours doesn't equal 8K steps, but the fascinating part is watching it happen day after day.

It seems every spare moment is spend learning, researching and implementing the information from the course I am taking this month. I am enjoying this class.

Blessed - Congratulation on your family member!

((((Harmony)))) Thinking of you today. I hope your tooth ache is no more and you can return to normal eating.

RR & Sweetie are traveling home today if I remember right. Thinking of them.

Next ta dahs are:

Showered

Dressed

Ate breakfast.

Also phone call re music for Christmas Eve service.

It is after 1 p.m. here. I feel I have too little to report.

I'm debating taking the rest of the day off. If I'm not getting anything done, anyway, better to be deliberate about it.

Tried to take the day off and my phone started to buzz with notifications. Both my sister and son are texting me. Ds reports that my father's Sunbeam Mix Master has died. (But also that my old one, same model, still works.) For the record, Dad's was older than mine and dad died in 2003. I know dad had to replace my mother's old one (the new one is harvest gold which places it in the 70's and her old one was white) but I don't ever recall having any other mixer than the one ds now has. It was a Christmas present to me from my parents, I believe in 1980.

I don't like my new mixer, a KitchenAid one. The switch on it is dodgy and sometimes it won't turn on or change speed. It is just a decade old.
