Waving to all.
I have been up a while had bfast so I am not cranky for church if I go.
Biscuit and gravy excellent from scratch I made last nite but I like the pork sausage better.
The turkey sausage was a bit too spicy for me.

I am so glad I rested I am glad I did I can tell it helped.
Also happy I washed & dried my hair before bed last nite.
Kitchen looks better after I put away dishes yea!

No new snow and we did not get the rain they predicted.
It was great weather for the lite parade last night.
I have Christmas music on, listened & watched a nativity that was excellent.

I have picked out my clothes and bw & red is my theme today.
Next week is sweater Sunday I have mine got a new one this year.

Made out two more cards one birthday one Christmas for the pastor.

Nancy: I think they make non-pork sausage more spicy to make up for whatever is missing when you take the meat out of the sausage and replace it with poultry.

LadyM: I think it was you who mentioned paper planners yesterday and how you yearn after them but never keep up with them for more than a few months. I'm starting my 8th year with a bullet journal, much to my surprise. I was over 50 before I figured out what works for me.

On the other hand, I knew electronic didn't work for me but I couldn't find a paper one that did. You seem to thrive with electronic.

I will say that "works for me" is a loaded statement. It works the most reliably of anything I've tried so far. And I don't have to track kids anymore (that was often the downfall of other systems.)

My SHE system dailies and weeklies are in Google Calendar as are any events I remember to put in Google calendar, but I seldom look things up on that, I use my bullet journal. My zone chores are set up as charts that I print out. The sheets are stored on a pretty clipboard at my desk.

I'm up and dressed. Dh woke up at 9. He has now had his breakfast and I had mine when he was finished (his is 4 courses: V8 and cheese, eggs, cereal, toast - all served consecutively, not on one tray.) That means I have to stay masked through the process in order to limit the amount of mask on/offs. The elastic on the masks are breaking sooner than I would expect because of that and they are $2.50 each so I'm not wasting any I don't have to.

We have a full snowstorm today. A surprise, flurries were in the forecast I looked at yesterday.

Dh might go out for a walk later. He'll go by himself since he has to be masked if around others, even outside.

Our covid tests will be in about and hour. That reminds me I need to have my snack now because I think you aren't to eat or drink for an hour before the test.

Not a productive day yet, although a load of laundry is done.

We will be having Shepherd's Pie for supper. Dh has requested that I add some green beans from the garden as part of the veg mix that I put into the meat.

I am currently making macaroons. The coconut ones, not the fancy French "macarons". (Note to self... use parchment paper even on the non stick trays)

Cathy - There you are! I have missed seeing your posts so decided I needed to go look for them. Now I don't have to. I have a mental picture of you snuggled in a warm place enjoying the antics of your new furkids.

Church was good this morning but was also sad because we said goodbye to one of our families that are moving to another state. Little 1 year old Maggie won't be in my nursery anymore. I will miss her. It's crazy how attached I can become to those littles.

This afternoon DH is traveling with 3 DFriends to watch the Bedlam wrestling (2 state universities). DH isn't a fan of wrestling. He isn't a fan of the big cities. He isn't a fan of attending crowded sports environments of any type. However, he is getting out of his comfort zone for the pure fun of spending time and making memories with these lifelong DFriends.

DH is with friends.
DS14 is at the jumps riding 4 wheelers with his friends.
DD11 is with DD46.
That means .....I have a rare time of being all alone!!!

LadyM we have a nice fire going in the fireplace. Today we are burning maple wood. Smells devine!

Just finished my covid test and it is negative. Dh is still positive and a line formed quickly so he didn't stick around for the full wait time since he assumed it wouldn't disappear!

So he's off to the hotel tomorrow afternoon and I'll open up the apartment to fully air it, empty all waste baskets and disinfect all the surfaces that dh might have touched. At least that's only 2 rooms and not much of the two rooms. He walks into the kitchen (masked) to instruct me on how to make his breakfast (it is complicated) but keeps his hands in his pockets. So outside of his rooms, only the door handles are touched. I'll run the dishwasher even though it won't be full and that means all the dishes will be cleaned as well.

I finally got all the paperwork organized and added the bits and bobs to my Off My Mind list in my bullet journal. Now I'm trying to remember how far and what I was doing when I stopped updating the email list.

We're home safe and sound and had a great time - we always do with both couples. The couple that owns the cabin have gone to the beach with us for a week and we've been okay. I retreat into a book or the computer when I need to.

Twins glad you are home safe.
I did well on my practice positive words.
Back from church they passed out chocolate in a bag, every one was supposed to reach in and take one from the same bag
I did not know if they were wrapped or not so I passed because I'd had bfast. I also skipped the treats table. Yea me!
Also thought of bs issues as well as germs.
After my walk with the dog.
Had more one biscuit diff. kind with chicken gravy & meat for lunch I had thawed out ahead, my fako version of chicken pot pie.

We got rain no snow here so that is good.
Resting before nite session of church a Bible study.
They are taking the week off after Christmas Eve service and no church on NyEve. Giving workers and staff a break.

Next week is sweater Sunday.
I took some holiday themed too small shirts sweaters and tops and they were well received I was not sure but announced that if anyone was
interested they had em at the back in a box. Yea for fun decluttering. Got word the kids luved the puppets they got to use them today!

I think it would be neat for the ones that eat cookies to do a cookies exchange or cookie decorating parts but I am
not the one to organize that! I do have Christmas cookies cutters and could mix up a patch of dough. But sort of got
burned out after one year we each had to bring like 12 doz. . Also the germs factor. I like the way the spinning group did it
they said we could bring ones from the store. Now in the post c-19 era I am leery of home made stuff not knowing where it is from.
It is one thing to take food to a family event quite another to one where you do not know the people or their kitchens.
