Dh woke me up with pain in his mid section and he's decided against going to ER for now. Pain was 8 he said, and I was getting dog out to potty and getting ready to go but he burped and pain is down to two now, he says. So we'll see what the morning holds.

We're supposed to have lunch at 12:30 with our "other son" and his wife, ds, and his parents - they are in town right now. Did not make a reservation, hope there's not a problem getting in. Other than that the day is empty although I'm sure dh will find some ways to fill it.

I had the webinar at 7:30 last night - and dh had invited people over for a fire beginning earlier. I made chili and it was well received.

Don't know what the day holds. I badly need a shower!

Hiya!

It is nice for me to have nowhere to go today. Simple day, so nice.

Dd43 had an order arrive from Misfit Market with 3 items for me, so I will go get those. She is tentatively back to ordering from them again, trying to believe their local order-tracking system will work this time and not send everyone the previous customer's order. If they've got that problem fixed, their prices and quality are just too good to pass up. She made a small order she could do without in case they send another complete mystery-gift box.

Laundry planning - New masks arrived so the little-item laundry bag is on deck. The dark masks need to go into a darks load, the two white-background ones into the brand-new-red-teeshirts load. These tees have a "warning" that they could cause other items to go pink and I figured, hey, serendipity. I wish those masks had more color (menswear ones for HRH include two he wouldn't be caught dead in, so I inherit). I just want to get the sizing-smell out of them, anyway. One is a floral (go figure) so it might be a favorite, and I need them most days.

Allergies - that does make sense, LadyM, possibly Mystery.
Here the extended forecast seems to show that we aren't going to be having a winter this year. (?) And so blooming is happening as early as last year's. We did have a little snow last year - so far, it's not showing up. Not used to this. Surely March will shake out something white. When my older children were little, we would have a foot of snow, but the grandkids can't make so much as a mini snowman.

I woke early again today even thou I went to bed an hour later. Oh well I had stuff to do on my mind and started with that.
Mostly journaling.
Deconstructed a couple of books as I wanted a few pages out of each now I can declutter the rest.
I have cut out my next sewing project to seam up later on.
We have frost and sun today with a lovely sunrise I see geese flying their morning laps.

After the first use of my new vacuum it is very nimble and lighter easier to do that task and
the canister is very easy to empty no banging on it to get contents out! Way less clunky that the
heavy duty hoover YEA! I am well pleased.

Spring cleaning is under way here, I am considering moving the dressers on wheels to vacuum under them this week.
Thinking of meals for today.
I have bread rising in mini loaf pans again / today's variety has oat meal and corn meal in it to change things up a bit.
Sipping cranberry juice with soda.
Got my step count up to today's norm for now.
Bread is in oven.

I also enjoyed reading about the kids basketball game. Sometimes the coaches make some interesting decisions. This week we had a local high school basketball game with final score of 4 to 2. One of the coaches decided to stall the ENTIRE game in an attempt to limit a sophomore player on the other team from scoring. That sophomore still managed to score the 4 points for their team which put him over 1000 points for this season. There are lots of opinions about whether stall was a good decision by the coach. One side says it shows remarkable focus for high school males to stall for that long. Another viewpoint is it is poor sportsmanship to not play the game the way it was meant. BTW the team that stalled ended up losing the game because their plan to score a 3 pointer at the last second ended in a miss.

I still have active sinuses today. No fever or other symptoms. I feel fine but don't have as much energy as usual.

Today declutter/deep clean mission is to evaluate trash day routine. DH and I discussed our trash day routine and decided to not make any changes to it.

Today price book item is liquid Mucinex 6 oz bottle. DD11 can take pills but prefers liquid so I keep liquid version of Mucinex on hand for her. She typically needs it for a day or so once or twice a year. Of the 6 places I checked prices the lowest was Amazon. $13.28 to $14.75 was the price difference I found. I don't think I've seen this item ever go on sale so there is little chance to get a better price.

B: DH went to men's breakfast at church. I had leftovers that sounded good to me. Pinto beans and squash.
L: Homemade pizza
D: Leftovers and quesadilla
Saturday night dessert - Applesauce, raisin, pecan muffins.

Well. Kathryn. :p — The rag-tags won.
22-18. They had a 7 point lead early in the game but we came within 3 points in the last minute.
OTOH — we made every mistake possible. Probably committed every foul in the rule book. Sigh. Just not a good game.

But our boys got medallions for being tournament runners-up, and — proud Nana moment — dgs was clapping just as hard when the winners got their trophy as anyone in the crowd.
He didn’t even get in the game but he said no, he wasn’t disappointed because he knew it kept the game closer to keep the starters in.

So. Lucylee is feeling blessed.

Yep, he still has gall bladder, but that may change. They sent us to bigger downtown hospital for whatever scan they do. Neighbors are taking care of sweet dog. I had the foresights to leave the back door unlocked.
