Good morning!

I'm on track with the tasks assigned to the first 2 hours of my day.

DD11 has been delivered to school with a smile on her face. She mentioned having an ear that isn't working right. I suspect allergies so gave her some meds for that. I'm making a note in the 3:45pm time slot to check with her after school to see how her ear is doing.

We have rain most of the day so getting my steps in might need a Plan B, C and/or D. I can walk in the rain if there is no lightning. Or I can walk inside the house or go to the store and walk the aisles.

I pulled some beef stew meat out of the freezer this morning. I will give it a few hours to thaw and then put it on to simmer.

I'm getting body work today at 11 and then have a workout at two. After, my plan is go get more potting soil and get potted plants and raised bed plants into the ground. The high today should be 70 and tomorrow rain is expected so timing is good.

I gotta get in the shower! I have garbage out, at least.

LadyM reminds me that she's using Time blocking, or scheduling what is done in segments of the day. I should try this, and it would make a terrific opening as Time blocking Tuesday someday. Looks like Harriet saves ideas for when she's feeling a blank, I should do same!

It's a better day today. (Who was asking and hoping for better news about board husbands?) Yesterday & Sunday dh was so terribly sleepy all day and I noticeably unable to keep his eyes open. So I made a decision last night not to give him melatonin. What a difference this morning. I can't take it either as I always feel like a melatonin hangover (whatever a hangover feels like.) I have a call in to his Dr (who wanted us to check in this morning). His weight is up 5# since last Monday. Granted I think a part of that might be because he's eating more and better. But still....... He's still very swollen after a week of so much additional lasix. So, it'll be interesting to see what he says when he calls back today. He's even walking better today. Part of the time thru Monday he could barely walk at all.

DS-R is here working on trying to get our deck leveled. He's having to take it apart bit by bit though in order to do that. Then he and DS-A are going to build a ramp for dh (and for me too). Both DDIL-R and I said yesterday that as long as they're building may as well make sure it's wheel chair width.

We both slept somewhat better last night. That helps a lot.

I want to start our mountain of dishes but I'm afraid that as soon as I do the Dr will call and want to see him (I hope). So think I'll find some other 'calling'. Maybe I'll work in the bathroom and our bedroom a little.

My Blood sugar was only 69 and I ate a container of applesauce around midnight. I had packet of chocolate bars to bring up plus a bunch of fruit bars. I can't seem to find them so will ask DD to look to see if she sees an extra bag in FL. Will check our car again today, but I don't think so. Pretty sure I have everything out from the trip north.

I am up on time and have the trash out to the curb.
qt & writing stuff is done for now.
I needed to s2s next.

I changed it up a bit and walked around the yard when I let the ddog out and saw new daff type flowers narcissus in bloom in back.
I also have red emperor type tulips in bloom.
Looked up sunrise and sunset and we are getting a lot more daylite now yea!
I got out my garden planner and that has been fun to use with spring flower stickers etc in it.
I have to think about my May stuff for planning.
I have re-started my stretching, after fighting off a bug last week glad to be feeling better when I get up.

Dgd is coming today deciding what is next.

I picked the first red strawberry of the 2023 season this morning. It wasn't big but it was tasty. I started harvesting the onions yesterday because the tomato plants are getting big enough to need their allotted space in the raised bed. So that means I am harvesting daily - asparagus, greens (pak choi, collards, broccolini) , strawberries and onions. The harvest is small amounts but that is perfect for my needs.

I am testing the feasibility of using todoist as my OMM capture system. I like that it synchronizes with google calendar so I can see OMM to do's and calendar events together. I think I have tried this before, but I don't remember why I didn't continue.

Dh decided to go to Costco with me. I asked if he wanted to try the motorized cart, he said no.

We only forgot 1 thing, so that's not bad.

We will be having a whole chicken tonight, so the 3 cats will enjoy some magic, flying chicken. We toss pieces of white meat in their general direction as long as they keep eating the tiny pieces, we continue to toss. After a few minutes, they have had enough.

Before we left I emptied my bookmark drawer onto the table in the library. The bookcase that my dad had someone make for him in the early 60's has a tiny drawer in the middle of it. No idea why, but I use it to put things that can be book marks into it. Lots of those bits of paper from fortune cookies. I should go through these today.

Waving hi…

Didn’t go to class because I have a bunch of things I need to do so I’ll be ready for my trip next week. My sons birthday is tomorrow and I had presents to wrap for both him and my friend who I will see next week. I had to make a quick run to Walgreens and publics. I had special pictures printed up to give to my girlfriends when I see them next week. Had to write some special cards to go with them so that took time as well.

Next up is to work in my closet getting my clothes in order for next week. Then I’ll get my steps in after that.

Treated some clothes because they had stains on them and have now washed and am drying them at the moment.

Dee…Hope you get good news from your dr.

Got my dishes done. Had to go let DS-A and a pest control guy in. DS was very concerned about the carpenter ant infestation we seem to be troubled with this past week. So our RV has been treated and he'll come back out Thursday probably. DS is paying -yay!

Waiting on the call from dh's DR. Have a feeling he's still not in the office. He was supposed to be back today.

DD worked her "fun" job last night. Said she had a hard time watching the last period but had to for her job. "How do you blow a 4/1 lead and lose in OT?" she asked. She didn't get home till after midnight. And she just got back from 5 days with 16 students in San Francisco Sunday night. Said she was struggling today.

Dh is having a much better day today -not great but certainly better than the last few.

I am so happy to see the sunshine today.
Ladies group was good better than last week.
Got my rolls out of the freezer for lunch I have learned to freeze half of them for later.
Brought back the can from the curb.
Fetched mail & tossed it was junk.
Walked around the parking lot my step count is good now.
