If not now, then when?
That is a question I repeatedly ask myself.

Re: Wednesday When PWYC
Mornin', LadyM.
I agree, that is probably the basis of a lot of questioning I do, too. "Okay, not the time to do that now (weather, lateness of the hour, other commitments, etc.), but I do intend to do it, right?"
And then, hopefully, I make a "when" plan, preferably on paper.
Today it has been rotating through happy sunshine/pouring rain, repeat. Good grief. When dd left for work it was threatening and I'm sure on her drive she had a deluge at one point. Oh, well. Into each life... ..
In a window of opportunity yesterday, I rushed the trash and recyclables to the cans and felt virtuous, plus clever for watching the radar so carefully.
Had a happy "find" today of the 3x5 card I had used to catalog everything in each of my 5 Christmas decor boxes. I had done that so carefully, then put the boxes, labeled "C-1, C-2", etc., in order, up into the top of our hall closet. And THEN... .. couldn't find where I'd laid the card. Sigh. Anyway, found safe and sound and put into the cardfile (yay) under "S" for storage. A helpful thing.
Up next, extra laundry is calling. Deliveries expected. I need to free those remaining shade-loving plants from the porch now that the storms have a finish line - they are craving sun.

Re: Wednesday When PWYC
Thank you for today's start LadyM! Hi Harriet!
I truly have "ALL" of today to do almost anything I wish. Taxes are at accountant, all clean laundry is away. dishwasher is going. Windows and window sills are all clean, grass is cut. Dh has gone for bloodwork.
Today I tackled a plastic file box that lives under this big, old desk. The box was full of cards and ticket stubs from shows (Wicked, Phantom of the opera, etc.) I was looking for any and all cards from my dd. Most of them were from her childhood. Cards she made in school or ones that her dad signed, like my first Mother's day card, etc. Now I have gone through a lot of them, but I put them back in the box because I had reached my mental limit with that project for today.
For at least the past couple of years I have had numerous large, clear glass vases all the way across the window sill for the large window in our bedroom. Everything has been washed and is now dry but I am really enjoying the clear, uncluttered look in the bedroom. I haven't put the valance back on the smaller window. I really don't want to put any of it back. The bedroom looks clean, clear and peaceful. I think I will store all the vases in the awkward (sp?) corner cabinet in the kitchen. It's a very deep space. I'm sure those vases would enjoy living under there.
Supper tonight will be the last 4 meat pies and a box of fake mashed potatoes. There is a bit of gravy and some veggies in the beef pies, so I think that will be good enough.

Re: Wednesday When PWYC
I delivered DD12 to school as we discussed the countdown to the end of the school year. Only 5 more days with most of them being partial day. DD12 asked if she could come home from school early today because they are doing another afternoon of playing dodge ball. I told her to text me when they switched from classroom to dodgeball, and I would come check her out of school.
Paperwork is on the top of my focus for today.

Progress has been made on paperwork. 2023 papers have been sorted into about a dozen categories.
I have been to the garden a couple of times to harvest strawberries, peppers and asparagus. I have washed and prepared those vegetables.
The hours of the day are going by fast.
5 hourly challenges successful.
59 cards completed.

I’m at the podiatrist office with dmom. My goodness her feet look awful. I don’t know how she walks at all.
Last night I just couldn’t sleep… I mean, I wasn’t even sleepy till about 4:00 am. I will try to avoid napping this evening.

Re: Wednesday When PWYC
Still fussing (puttering) with my stuff.
Books (I want to donate some non fiction that I have no interest in.)
Cross stitch stuff. Patterns and floss have been organized for a very long time. The other stuff, like hoops and stretcher bars, not so much.
Knitting stuff. Yarn needs to be organized by colour. The 6 colours of the Pride rainbow are in a bag by themselves. Now I need to put all the other colours away.
I am fairly certain that I have my "hidden" storage area set up how I like it. It's secure and it doesn't move if you touch it the wrong way or even just look at it. The bottom 2 "shelves" are solid wooden tables. There is a solid wooden top on top of them. There is a cardboard banker's box on the very top. There are pillows in that box.
I have added a few things to the donation box in the car.

Afternoon CI ~
Got the pans I used this morning & kit. sinks cleaned up & put away.
I did a couple more rounds on the yard
Found a low spot I stepped in the other day and filled that in might be what threw my lower back out.
Weather is good today.
Miked up edible cookie dough for when I have lows.
