Good Morning!

We are celebrating DD13 today. Her day started with off key birthday song, gifts, and sugary treats. She is happy.

DH has liver ultrasound in the city at 1:30. We are going to work that appointment into DD13 birthday celebration. After the appointment we will go out to eat, play arcade games, and roller skating. The girls are unsure about the roller skating so they might decide to skip that.

Happy BDay to your dd13 LadyM!

My day will be beyond boring. Another day of cross stitching.

Because I didn't do much of anything around the house yesterday, the dishwasher is doing it's thing right now. There are also some pots and pans to contend with.

No idea what is for supper.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

My day is off to a decent enough start.

I've done my delivery, inventoried the residents' association bins and moved a few things into the social room for the luncheon.

I've posted the details on my project so far. I still like the results so far but don't know what dh will say so hesitate to go further. Maybe the one really easy counter and backsplash above it, and then I'll stop.

Here's the project thread I started.

I also have to keep calling to see why the hospital MRI department called. When I call back, they say to call when they are open. They *are* open right now. This is for dh.

I need to polish the silver water pitchers and do my hair (and change into something a bit dressier. And do my nails if I have time.

They called asking to move DH liver scan up an hour. We agreed to it but mentioned that he is supposed to be fasting for 8 hours before the test to reduce food causing shadows. DH hasn't eaten any solid food today but did have a well-blended smoothie. Hopefully, that liquid will be out of his digestive system since he drank it 7 hours before the ultrasound.

I am thankful that I don't have a sweet tooth. Our kitchen is filled with birthday sweets. 4 kinds of Pop-tarts, 6 layer chocolate cake, Cheesecake and a key lime pie. I took one bite of the cake and that is all I wanted. It was very tasty, but I have no desire to eat it....I just wanted to know how it tasted. I am thankful that DD13 didn't request potato chips. I would struggle big time not eating every one of those.

44 cards completed.
4 hourly step challenges accomplished.

Waving Hi…

LadyM… happy birthday to your dd13!

I want to my class, had a birthday breakfast for my 91 year old friend. She’s part of our exercise class, lives alone in her own home and still drives!

Came home, watered my garden and then worked around the house. Right now I’m taking a break.

Yesterday I spent the day with my friend at the beach. Sweetie was invited but he didn’t want to go. Spent most of the day floating and swimming in the ocean. My kind of day :D

Wow! A teenager! Happy birthday to LadyM’s dd13!!!

I’m at the pool with dgrands. They are sooo happy. No one is here except us.

I’m still taking Musinex and Imodium. The stomach distress is really a problem. I may have to talk to family doctor about it. It’s an embarrassing problem, but his wife died with Chron’s, so I’m sure he’s seen and heard it all.
Tomorrow is another day.

I'm taking a brief break between the luncheon and set up for exercise class.

Emails have started back up over the church upsets so that's not a good thing. The general hope is that the towel will be thrown in to avoid a big fight but I'm thinking that may not be a good thing as giving into bullies never teaches them to not be bullies.

DD13 birthday has been celebrated. She is pleased.

I just got home from taking DS15 to attend church with his girlfriend. That was a 22 mile round trip. I will drive it again in 1.5 hours to retrieve him. Note to self....only 68 more days until he will be a legal driver.

It is time for us to leave for church. *POOF*
