Re: Tuesday TA-DA's PWYC
Good morning
I woke up naturally and walked at sunrise.
Came inside and did my morning papers and planned the things that must happen today.
Kitchen and AM personal cards done.
DD13 to school
DS16 started on his homeschool
--------later-------
** DS16 still working on lessons. I helped with 2 of the assignments. He just needed clarification of the concepts then he did the rest of the assignment by himself.
** I didn't have enough time earlier to wash my hair so I skipped my morning shower while getting the kids up and going. Once they were situated then I went back and got my hair washed & showered.
** Coffee pot cleaned. 6 quarts of tea with electrolytes made for today.
We have 30 minutes before leaving for DH appt with family doctor. I need to create a list of DH current meds because I have a question about one of them.

Re: Tuesday TA-DA's PWYC
Up today ddoggo got me up at 4 ish again today. Some thing outside was capturing her interest.
I stayed up however. Did my QT & journal stuff at least some of it.
I've spiffed up another part of the kitchen counters this morning, items I moved still need to be sorted & decided on.
It was good to read your posts.
I napped 2x yesterday but tummy feels better I"m being careful with food choices dang no hot sauce.
Had some broth with my bfast.
Ddoggo has been out prepping holes for me to plant bulbs in again she's needs a rinse off LOL!
More moles / mice too.
Osprey have helped too I think.
Trash is at the curb today.
-----
Cleaned the plant cage out.
Tummy acting up again walk posponed.
Had wash accomplished.
Feeling better surprisingly.
Gotta go dust under something. proofers. X
-----
Dug out one vol. plant in the yard holly hock to move.
Dug out Lillie's two batches of em to move.
Planted holly hock where some of lilies were.
Got holes dug & lilies moved to a better spot. Yea!
Have a great day gals!

Re: Tuesday TA-DA's PWYC
Happy Birthday, bittersweet!
Have a great one!
Ds and I chatted by phone on his way to work this a.m. I'd already texted with ddil so she knew I was up and thinking about the week. We have a plan for dgson's orientation evening for Middle School tomorrow, which will be long and involved. DgdC will just stay with us for the afternoon and evening, so that works out fine.
Ds can't be there to help because he flies out to WI today with another fire vehicle committee. He's chair, but 5 from here will walk through the plant and make their choices together on a bunch of hands-on questions about how they want the new truck built. The company just won't build without a lot of input, because a misunderstanding or mistake would be so costly. One amusing thing to me is that I don't think they have put two and two together yet, but they return with a stopover through the Chicago airport on Friday morning. I'll let them figure that out - they may have already.
Feel better, Ramblin'. Do you still look like you were in a fight?

On the way home from doc office we stopped at the grocery store to get some potato salad for DH. $63 dollars later .....
It never ceases to amaze me how that happens. Shopping with DH always involves random things showing up in the shopping cart.
My must do's for today are almost done. Homeschool is done. The only must do remaining is picking DD13 up from school.
Now I can turn my focus to things I want to do today.

Re: Tuesday TA-DA's PWYC
Harriet…my tooth looks way better and much to my surprise and delight it doesn’t hurt.
Even Sweetie agrees. Don’t even need OTC meds because I have no pain. I can eat, but must put food into the side of my mouth. No biting on anything.
My son woke me early this morning. He had my g-daughter in his car and and she wanted to tell me she had lost her first tooth. Told me it was on the bottom and that she looks funny when she smiles. She just started kindergarten and I asked what her favorite part was… she told my gym time! She’s also eating their school lunch…pizza and Jello, her favorites.
Drank my coffee after I got up and then did my morning routines. We are having morning thunder storms and they are suppose to continue through out the day. My home looks so great I had to remind myself to swish the bathrooms. Took a shower between the storms and then spent time in my lanai tending to my plants. Let my hair get almost air dried and then finish it up. The A/c repair man was due… just maintenance service and I didn’t want to have wet hair when he came.
I do need to do a quick grocery run… I’m out of milk for Sweetie and may buy a rotisserie chicken cause I really don’t feel like cooking. Tummy issues seem to half calmed down, but sometime it shows up later in the day.

Re: Tuesday TA-DA's PWYC
CI with awesome news
The baking soda worked on getting fabric softener & cologne scent out of a book bag
and planner keeper tote it was open on the top go I put the baking soda in it dry covered with a bag I had
on hand, and put some baking soda in each of the book bag compartments zipped I'd shut and let them both sit
for two days like the instructions said. Then rinsed one out really well as it needed that to remove the baking
soda, the other came out when I inverted it and shook it out then used a damp cloth to wipe it out. I'd already hosed it out
& dryer it before adding the soda. I was going to soak and wash em with laundry detergent if that was needed but
the fragrance was gone yea! I'm sensitive to some of them.
Got the trash can back in from the road too.
Rested a bit after gardening.

Happy birthday, Bsweet!
I have no ta-das. Yet.
This is one of those days when I really want to just stay in bed all day.
Obsessing, spinning, about College Town. I want to take thd dgrands, but I’m scared to!
—Both dgrands say it is fine to stay home…
—They are planning to go thd next week…
— but I feel like I am letting dh down if I don’t do this.

Lucy you are NOT letting any one down!
Update I ended up having to wash that book bag found a small tear on the side pocket
but I had a few other things to go in with it, I put shout on the bottom and inside of the bag,
and laundry soap like a regular load so hoping this works out I might just do a hand sewen repair one the pouch
outside for water bottles I'll find some thing for that. I'm thinking it's for crafting items yarn fiber etc....
I've showered and my hair is clean still wet but I am feeling better now after that.

Re: Tuesday TA-DA's PWYC
email to all the kids to let them know news, which is "fine". I wanted ordinary, ya know, but fine is fine. It's fine.
My sweet new dsonil sends instantly a funny of Snoopy hugging a big heart, lol.
lucylee, you are a different and separate person from the couple who did so much travel. It's okay to be yourself. You're remembering what dh would have said to you as a couple 5 years ago or 10 years ago and imposing that on an assumption of what he'd say now, "living up to" 2014 or 2019 or whenever. It's not that you aren't living up to anything at all, Of course you live up to things every day, and probably go beyond. It's just that it's 2024 now. What does lucylee say on this subject in 2024? She's the one who decides, and that's cool.
Nancy, I'm glad you had success with the baking soda for odors. You can probably handle that repair easily.
