Sunday around the Village PWYC
Lots of activity going on this Sunday in our little village. Prepping for the week, resting up, worshiping, taking care of business. What's your Sunday like?

Re: Sunday around the Village PWYC
Happy Sunday, bw2!
Dh went out this a.m. to have breakfast with ds. I'm not ready to tell him about not knowing where the ring is yet. And not ready to start dismantling the kitchen either. I need to get the rest of the brisket into the oven today. And continue with house clean up. At least what I can focus on. With the missing item I feel pretty unfocused.
I walked a figure eight with the dog this morning - back down the center "alley" instead of the outside of the circle. Not as many steps as two laps, but I had to detour because a neighbor and her dog were out and dMillie was reactive. But later, when I took her back down the alley, the neighbor had her dog in the back of the car, back hatch open, and Millie didn't even notice her. We dodged a bullet there.
Still rain off and on here. The TVA dam near us is "spilling" i.e. releasing, as the excess moves through the system. No issues here.
I believe my foot is better, at least last night and this a.m. Hoping improvement continues as I'm active.
And I'm still sitting here, setting my timer to start work at 11:15 and work for 45 min. Need to get brisket going and work on a.m. routine.

Re: Sunday around the Village PWYC
I slept in till six dand the sun rise was lovely this morning.
Did my QT in the living room by the big window so I could watch while I did that.
It is breezy and we have a red flag warning till this evening at 7 pm.
Glad for the work I did yesterday on the counters.
I need to get dressed.
Rest of journal can be reflections.
Glad I've been able to make progress on the monthly review list!
Did my weekly review.
Waving to all have a great day.
Sewing retreat coming soon I need to help pj's.

Re: Sunday around the Village PWYC
Good morning!
I was greatly relieved that DH woke up with his memory. Yesterday's trip to multiple stores was a test if that affected him. With positive results from that outing we decided to attend church this morning. It feels soooo good to be getting back into our previous doings. We were greeted and hugged by friends as if we were celebrities. It is nice to be acknowledged.
Lunch was something in the air fryer for the family. I went to the big freezer expecting to get chicken nuggets but couldn't find any. Strange. I always keep 1 or 2 bags of nuggets in the freezer. I grabbed other frozen food to cook for the family. I just realized something..... I bet that DS16 has moved the bag of nuggets to his freezer. Ohs well. Too late. 3 pizzas and French fries were tossed into the air fryer. Mission accomplished... they are fed.
I have my own food that I eat. I would share my food with them but they consider it too healthy. They prefer processed food. Ohs well. To each their own. Choices. We all have them.
DD47 sent DD13 home a day early. No drama happened that anyone is admiting to. Whatever the reason I am glad DD13 is safe and happy to be here.

Re: Sunday around the Village PWYC
mom was a feisty one today.
but She is fed and had her meds.
all of us have realized that I am the weak link with d mom
French and feisty!
The girls say "ok" if mom doesn't want to be picked up, but an hour later, they call her and say they are getting her and she says "ok"
Dd younger is the "Mom Whisperer" or can "out-stubborn" mom if she is doing things that are not good for her. Mom then knows she can't go farther.
She knows me too well and will be super stubborn.
Glad I have the girls to get her moving without problems.

Worked 45 min., dh got up and helped get brisket going and also folded some laundry. I realized I still haven't eaten anything, just coffee with milk earlier. I'm going to restart my work after I eat!

Re: Sunday around the Village PWYC
DD47 invited DS16 and girlfriend to eat breakfast at the place she is working. This morning DS16 drove approx. 80 miles to get girlfriend and go to DD47 place of employment. Once they arrived the door was locked. DD47 vehicle was in the parking lot but she didn't respond to text or knocking. DD47 is the only employee working today. DS16 gave up and took girlfriend to eat breakfast at a different place. DD47 does fine with life until she doesn't. Then she shuts down and everything and everyone gets ghosted. This is our 31st year of dealing with her unmedicated bipolar ways. We have exhausted all ways and methods to help her. It doesn't get easier but it does get predictable. I asked DS16 if he was okay and he said "I'm okay. I'm used to her doing this. "
DS16 took girlfriend home because she is working this afternoon at BK. Now DS16 has another friend here with him. DS16 is rarely without one or several firends following him around. They are working on 89 chev flatbed pickup. Something to do with oil stick leaking. Old vehicles NEVER run out of things to be fixed.
I am checking off daily to-do's. Rabbits fed and watered. Next up - vacuum

Re: Sunday around the Village PWYC
My d mom called me to tell me she just woke up
- she went back to bed after I left - she forgot that I had been there but she sounds chipper! Much better than feisty mom.
She wanted to make sure I didn't worry which is sweet- she said she remembered that I was there but I know she didn't; but it's okay!
cleaned off my garden planning wall.
setting up my week on paper - hope I work on it rather than raising chickens on paper.
dd older and I will pick up pumpkins - I only have one home grown surprise pumpkin.

hello d twins! happy Sunday!
how nice that your dh took your ds for breakfast! praying the ring is found soon. Can you rent a metal finder? I think it finds gold.
glad your d dog didn't see the other dog and visa versa.
praying for continued healing on your foot!
hello d Nancy!
red flag warning? fire? stay safe!
yay on weekly review
hello d Lady!
So happy your dd 13 is home - hope she had a nice time.
Oh wonderful about your dh! How wonderful to be able to see friends at church!
I am so sorry that DS didn't hear from dd47. I totally understand the shut down and not responding to anyone. Bipolar is very difficult. I am glad he was able to have time with GF instead of being on his own.
yay on checking off dailies.
