Except for my hair. I've decided that I'm getting too much "purple" in my gray hair and need to dial back on the conditioner that leaves some purple > silver gray, not dirty gray. So I left off conditioner when I showered and I have the flyaways today.

Dh has gone to Costco, ddog and I have a little quiet time. I need to walk her soon.

Weird week here, bowling tonight and Tuesday, company tomorrow night, and dh is getting a massage on Wednesday p.m. at 6:30, then Thanksgiving, and we're gone. Not much cooking happening, although I'll need to get some groceries today or tomorrow.

Slightly later, dog was dog walked.

I'm getting together my list of stuff to do before we take off...I'd like to go ahead and get autumn things put away and Hanukkah out...

thank you d twins for starting us!
can you talk to your hair stylist and she can adjust the color/highlights?
I, too, can't forget my conditioner as my hair becomes a dandelion puff ready to take flight.
enjoy your quiet time!

dd older is taking dd younger to the er - she has bulging discs and I wouldn't be surprised that one is herniated. Her pain disorder is getting in there too.
She can barely stand or bend. She is in so much pain. :(

mom doesn't feel well again - it's funny how it hits her in the morning and completely forgets an hour in. I know she feels physically bad but wonder why it happens like this. As I am far behind; I ordered breakfast from Egg harbor. I will go over there and give her breakfast and meds.

kitchen - ka boom - I didn't have the energy to clean up last night. The dishes/mess seem to triple from the time I go to bed to the time I wake up. 8-)

((blessed)) ((blessed's ddyounger))

Various things conspired to keep me from sleep last night.

I've texted dd26 that we would truly love to have them visit today, but we've got to have a ballpark timeframe so I can take a planned nap and try to get over that.

Hello to everyone!

Good morning everyone.
Twins thanks for the start today!
I slept in until 7:05 today yea!
It was lite out and I got to see the pink sunrise.

Thankful I got the rest of the lites up this morning & only have the less than two foot tall pre decorated and pre lit to go up so yea!
Not sure on my stocking if or where as it did not go but has my name on it. Feels great to have some of that done
what seems early this year for me. But glad to get it out now.

Bs was up this morning. I had a bit of a cough so no in person church for me. That is what I took the hot pad sets when I did as I was well then,
Did some on my planner page. Had hot cocoa after my Rx. It's the perfect morning for that.

I have seen some frost and a bit of fog here this morning.
My place needs some attn. sheets floors. Chicken Soup to prep. in a bit.

hello - I probably will go over to the hospital and take over for dd older.

just got home from mom's - I couldn't find a thermometer but when I got to her house - she was dressed and was washing her sheets again - hey they stay nice and clean :D Her meds and breakfast are done.

alrighty dd's dog needs exercise but I don't think I can trust him staying with me like he does for dd younger.
After this house I want to go back to ten acres in the woods. My old house is up for sale. funny though - the wallpaper we had in the front room is still there but they painted the top pink - it was white. the one room with beds was dd Youngers room. upstairs they painted it - my brothers cabinets are the same in the kitchen, the bathroom is the same, they added onto the shed which I really like. They put a pond in and a roof porch and a gazebo out back . it's shocking what they are asking for it but it has been 26 years since it was first purchased by someone else. It was a White House before but I like this better. The rugs are the same too. lol it's amazing how big they can make a tiny house look.

I will put the link in our members part - I haven't lived there for 26 years. I do miss the woods

dh did dishes yay
now for a reality cleaning
dd's dog is barking - he is saving us from leaves falling this time.

waving to all of you - I hope you have a wonderful day!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

We were extremely foggy this a.m. but it's burned off.

Trying to make NYC plans - dh finally texted dcousin couple that we should see this time and suggested seeing them on Friday or Saturday. They invited us our to their house on Friday night but I also let them know we could do other nights, and even a lunch in the city if they were booked up. I think we've settled on Monday p.m. in the city and we're hoping they'll let us buy, although she will make reservation.

I started trying to clean the bottom warming drawer in the oven - we had brisket juice spill at Rosh Hashanah and burn on - and dh decided he would take over the job. I'm thankful for that. That's only been nearly two months ago, and I had forgotten about it.

bw2, lol about the falling leaves and dog! Do you think your mother is depressed? I remember that depression is typically worse in the a.m. because of hormones and stuff rising in the a.m. Dh's blood sugar will also go up regardless of eating anything. And, you have your hands full with dh, your mom, and now poor dd. I feel for you, I think you need some ((((Hugs.)))) Wish we were closer and could offer more support.

More: planning for tomorrow night when we'll have company. Need to run the Roomba tomorrow if I can humor it. Need to go to specialty store for baby gift  We are giving them a monetary gift for the college fund too. And I've set up the Instacart order, will finalize either tonight or in a.m.

I have gotten some chicken & veg. soup going had breakfast and it smells wonderful now.
Did some more on my planning journal page for today.
I definitely needed a time out.
The light fog has lifted and sun it out now yea!
It's up to 45* outside now and the yellow leaves on the tree are cheery.

Tree is up all that is left is to plug in the lites and get the new fabric "ribbonn" wrapped
around the wreath to put up next weekend. That feels great.

I'll clean later on.

sitting in the er with dd younger - they gave her a muscle relaxer and pain relief - she is afraid to move and is laying on the bed with a pillow under her lower back. My chill daughter is already super chill. Pain disorders are no fun! I hope the x ray will show what is happening with her back and that there is something they can do about it. I know inside I am overthinking the worse - wheel chair, surgery, pain disorder flaring through her whole body again. I know I have to go down a different road than what I am thinking.

mom just - thank goodness we have cameras - first she called dd younger (we didn't tell that dd is here at the hospital) from her house phone. then a few minutes later she called me from her cell phone (I just charged it) saying that her house phone wasn't working. I assumed she had unplugged it all again so I had her check - dd older then called her on her house phone and voila it was working - I think she didn't hang up the kitchen or bedroom phone and when we were talking to her and had her to check if the phone was on it's handle that she hung up it up again. 8-)
(at least it is not taken apart!) for now ;)

thank goodness I have dinner made - I need to make a salad still but that's easy.
