Thinking of others at this time of year! This week leads up to the most social weekend of the year. More people gather in the coming weekend than at any other time. There is cheer in the preparations.

I think the village is becoming a 'round the clock destination.

Meds are being disobediently non-sleepy in my system. I will complain, but elsewhere!

I have no business being up - had been up an hour and a half and just decided to dress and get ready because a Sleigh of Holiday Groceries are dashing through the ... .. perfectly clear roads ... .. to our house in a window of time that starts in an hour now, so I might as well let HRH sleep if he can and handle it without waking him. I will get in trouble with him I bet, but it is something to accomplish.

Oh well, Tobias has decided he's with me, so I bet he has disturbed his master. Maybe not.

Today I will be gift wrapping in a minimalist way, and enjoying some cooking for both of us and eating together.

We'd love a visit from the newlyweds, but I don't really think it's necessarily going to happen now. Dsonil called last night and tells me that dd26 has had two late worknights in a row, and he himself expects achy bones and joints from a full day of work under and over his house yesterday. I insisted he take a pain pill of some kind to get ahead of those aches.

Hi Harriet! Thank you for starting us off today!

I have some cookies to make and I also want to mop some floors. Other than that, I don't think I have much to do.

I went to bed before 8 p.m.! No wonder I've had another early morning.

Morning y’all…

Twins…Congratulations, excited for you!

I am again enjoying my coffee in bed this morning. Not something I can do during the week.

I still have a few more things to do around the house as far as decorating. Then I’ll join my friend for an outdoor Christmas craft show. Looking forwards to that.

Those drones are flying all over my NJ home.. remember I lived, and my brother lives just a few miles from the Atlantic, causing all sorts of wild ideas and panic among the people who live there. Can’t wait to see if we truly find out about them

In the meantime I need to finish my coffee, take my vitamins and then start my day.

Waving to y’all :D

I have gotten my "list" done, other than cookies to be made. ALL dishes are done!! There is a load waiting to come out of the dryer and another load waiting to go into the dryer.

Good morning!

We are staying home from church this morning because DH has a headache and is mentally foggy. He joined me on my morning mile walk this morning. I encouraged him to walk with his hands out of his pockets because he was not entirely stable on his feet. We both enjoyed the fresh morning air.

DS16 took a different girl to the city last night to spend a couple hours doing their Christmas lights and activities. There are lots of food trucks and things to do. Camel ride, ferris wheel, ice skating, horse drawn carriage, etc. I just realized this is the 2nd girl he has taken to this destination, and it only started the day after Thanksgiving. I watched his location and speed on Life360 throughout the evening. She had to be home by 11pm and then he came home after that. I went to sleep before he was home but woke up every so often to check on him.

Woke up around 6 ish saw the lovely silvery full moon when I went out with ddoggo 1st thing.
Waving from my sleigh with wheels I had sleigh ride tunes on today soft music for my 1st part of my day.
I "found" the third desktop in my butterfly room this morning feels great to look around that room and see my progress now.
I have set out a couple of things for gifts. Took out things I was not using like empty photo boxes I was keeping bits & bobs in
that I can use for trays of paper items now.

Great news today I looked after the weather last nite and 95% of the leaves are now off the roof!
Meals today thinking I have soup & meat ready today so it's good.

Did my planning & review for the week.
A bit more journaling for my creative projects & writing had slacked off on it as fall is my busy time
with leaves and all.

for mom Christmas: I found an old printing of Pecos Bill (in French) that was a comic in France during the late 1940's into 1950's that my mother read in France (my grandfather would get them). They were originally printed in italian first.

My mother fell in love with Native American culture when she lived in France. To this day she still has tremendous respect for the traditions and the people of these communities- Her home in Chicago has art/items from Native American artists that she has collected through her live. . She also loved the prints/oils of cowboys but Native American art is something she truly loves.

dd older downloaded the images of one of the cartoon magazine (1955 in French) - I couldn't find one earlier - to print at Fd x. for mom's Christmas present. I hope it comes out well.

I hope she loves it. It is hard to buy her.

dishes are washing themselves - I had to rewash the kitchen washcloths - overnight they went bad - I don't know how.
Next: counters, stove top, microwave

I cleaned the fridge yesterday and it looks so nice!
