Happy Sunday to you all!

There was a time where I made Sunday a day separate from all the others. I would spend time outdoors, read, bake for fun, time visiting family, taking kids on quiet adventures, sewing, dreaming, creating, and to have special time for self care. It is that time again!

Sundays are special - it's time to renew your spirit!
Simplify your Sunday!

what quiet adventures will you have for you today - how will just simply be!

have a wonderful day!

Morning blessed…

I had plans for today but for some reason my tummy is off. Once it settles down I’ll start my day I hope.

We are getting the big drop in the next 24 hours, bw2. We're at 47 now, and will be at 20 degrees by 8 a.m. tomorrow a.m. We'll get to freezing by late this afternoon. Brrrr!

We have a treadmill upstairs in the room I'm cleaning out. It would go a long way to let it go too - I'll see this week if I can use it enough (while it's cold out) to justify keeping it. I don't think I've used it all all in the last year and a half?

We went out to dinner with neighbors last night for Mexican, then back here for drinks by the fire and more discussion. I enjoy this couple - they are younger - she is turning 50 but he is perhaps 60.

Morning to RR and bw2!

When I let the cats out at 7:30 it wasn't snowing yet. Now it looks like a snow globe when it first gets shaken and you can't see anything inside. Thankfully the snow flakes are large and fluffy. It's very pretty out.

Dh is having a shower right now. Football is being discussed on tv. How many hours of pre game are really needed? Of course they are also talking about yesterday as well.

I didn't even go outside yesterday. Dh took the garbage out. Dh says he is going to pick up some bread after his shower. I'm not going.

I swept and mopped the bedroom. I'm also doing dishes/pots/pans and large utensils.

Supper tonight will be scalloped potatoes and shake n bake chicken.

Up at dawn today I washed a cup dish & utensils first thing.
Took out the trash.
Got the boxes of paper work in the spare room.
Shredded one bin of that so far.
Working on my attitude about this but small progress breaking it down in to 1" apx. piles is helping.
Had a bite to eat.
Got qt done today already.

Have a great one I'll be checking in again in a bit after I do another round.
I need to do my basement walk about the take soup downstairs.

Waving to you all the snow sounds lovely Cathy, my team is not playing today or tomorrow.
I can sek a squirrel and head a dove cooking outside.

Did two bins of shredding taking a break 2/3 rds of the way done now I think.

Good afternoon! No church for us this morning b/c we went yesterday evening. I am not particularly far ahead of where I would be on a normal Sunday, though. I did, however, make a small shopping list for DH, who is now at the grocery store. We still have plenty of dinner stuff in the house, but we’re low on breakfasty and lunchy stuff. Plus, we’re going to P&K’s for games tomorrow, and we’re bringing dessert. They gave us a Ticket to Ride cookbook for Christmas, so I want to make one of the recipes from there.

I am starting to feel bad about sending DH out; I knew it would be a few hours before the temps start dropping, but now it is snowing.

Today, hopefully we’ll play some games with the family, although DD has D&D till 5. Maybe we’ll spend the afternoon making the cake (or cakes — I had DH pick up enough ingredients that we can make one for home as well).

Till then, I’m going to go down and hit the laundry. I’m almost caught up again.

hello again
it's been an easy morning and I love it!

Mom hardly slept last night but her brain was great. She slept about 4 hours -

we had a moment last night - She looked at me and asked if it was "me" house - then asked where I was - when I pointed at myself and smiled - I am "me" and the house is ours. She looked at me and suddenly laughed - she said "that was interesting!" Fine again.

dd older has noticed that mom has been mentally together (except with dressing at times) and healthier - Dementia doesn't go away but we are enjoying the breaks from it when we get them.

last night dh had hard breathing - much better today - he said he cleaned his trac out - (he said he did it daily but I am pretty sure he lets it go based on the struggles he had last night and the clear breathing he has this morning.

hello hello to all.

waving to all of you.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Nurturing myself may be making some order, however little, out of chaos.

Upstairs I have box of stuff I will likely try to sell. Another box of reinkers and stamp pads; if I have a stamp pad and reinker in same color those can be sold. At any point I may decide it's not worth it. I did find my envelopes for mailing - they are thin but I have foam wrap I can use. I have a box of stuff that is Goodwill for sure, and another box and stack of stuff to donate. Last night dfriend neighbor told me that her church (it's one of the largest in the city) has a "stamping group" and they could take donations. I might do that - make it easy - and be done with it. May investigate other options. I have a stack of containers, boxes that are empty that can be used downstairs or go to garage for future storage or donated. There are some "not sure" items too, but not many. They could be donated or go to Goodwill.

I did not go through all my punches. Many of those could be sold but they don't take that much room. I have a bunch of old Stampin up catalogues; some of those sell but I'd rather just put them in the recycle bin. There are other sources for identifying stamps. Many of the more recent ones I have a digital copy too.

I really feel good about my progress.
