Re: Three Cheers for Thursday PWYC
Good Morning!
DD49 stopped by this morning to drop off a couple of containers of soup and fire crackers that she made. One of the soups is chicken & vegetable. The other soup is chicken and dumplings. Both are super, delicious, amazing, luscious, tasty, awesome, addicting foods. Hey! Lookie there! I found some descriptive words. LOL
It was very foggy this morning as I was driving DD13 to school. Thankfully I know every part of that drive very well, so it was just a matter of staying on the road even though I couldn't see much surrounding us. We have hit the jackpot for winter weather in this location. We have 10 days of 60-70F temps with bright sunshine. I'm loving it but know winter isn't over and there is a high probability we will be covered in ice & snow again in the next month or so.
Next up - Pick a task on the daily list and get it done.
I did! I am new at evaluating my emotions but am already seeing some benefits from being aware. Although, I find myself wanting more descriptive words for the feelings that I have. Trying to find a word on the emotional wheel that matches what I am feeling can be difficult for me. I consider myself a beginner at doing this so expect that I am not very good at it…..yet. I am hopeful that with practice I can start putting words to my feelings.Did you see, LadyM, where I had about three emotions to post on the EOD last night?

Re: Three Cheers for Thursday PWYC
CI / I have been in the purging planner rabbit hole.
had bfast came up for air.
Thanks LM for the start and descriptive words today.
My cheery moment was when I took banana muffins [from the store] for the
news paper carrier. I'm allergic to nuts got em by mistake he was very
enthusiastic to get the two of em I could not have. This was before day lite.
I have undated some planners with white out pen.
Looked for pages I had for notes in others.
Doing a re-set for my Feb. one with pink cover now.
I could not get the feeling wheel to load on my PC
but I googled that and saw plenty of examples so
I'm thinking of a feelings pie to put the diff. time of the day =) or what ever.
Back in the day when I did journaling and was in counseling my counselor
said to go back over the week and circle the words that had emotions.

Up and did my morning routines. Foot prints were done last night. Walked with my girls this morning and walked six miles in less than two hours. We’re going to try and do this every Tues and Thursdays.

Re: Three Cheers for Thursday PWYC
I never managed to post this a.m. - also didn't eat brunch before I headed out. New schedule for dcleaning lady coming on Thursday so I was doing the "cleaning for the cleaning lady" and then she was here and I just never got here. I did manage to sweep the garage this a.m. - not well, but good enough - and had her vacuum the mat and rug by the door into the house. That will help keep down tracked debris.
Errands, I did return at Staples, got deposit slips at the HOA bank but didn't do the deposit - didn't take in my phone so I could look up account no and knew I'd be getting a lot more checks when I went to the post office. Which I did. Then a grocery stop - not my normal place but went to Walmart. Meant to get only eggs but remembered most of what was on grocery list. And gassed up the car there too.
I'll need to leave for my workout in a little more than an hour.

Re: Three Cheers for Thursday PWYC
Thankfully I knew it was Thursday, so compost, garbage and recycling went out in a timely fashion.
Has anyone else been having problems sleeping in the past 2 weeks? I was up before 3 a.m. this morning. I stayed up until 8 and went back to bed and slept until noon! Then dh went to lay down and called out to me how cozy the bed was, so I went and slept for yet another hour. Tonight Swamp people is on, so I will be up until 11 p.m. Hopefully I will get back on track tonight.

OH WOW! That is fantastic!walked six miles in less than two hours
I am making progress on daily doings.
Homeschool is done and DS16 is out the door to work. He has called twice since he left.
Our refrigerator is well stocked, so I am not cooking extra things today. I did cook our normal breakfast.
Normal sleep here. Just the typical teen antics that have me shifting my hours to be later than I would prefer. My preferred sleep hours would be 9pm to 5am. There is low chance the teens will go to bed at 9pm, especiallyy when it isn't school nights..Has anyone else been having problems sleeping in the past 2 weeks?

Re: Three Cheers for Thursday PWYC
Keeping a low key day today.
Thank you for discussing what day of month, though - got a bday gift together in a bag. I might have forgotten.
We got groceries in. I did almost none of that.
Some pick up and put away.
Ds called last night but we didn't need anything. He thinks he will come by tonight anyway.
