It started snowing here last night and it's still snowing right now. We don't have any plans to go anywhere. I'm sure dh will spend time using the tractor (?) to clear the snow. When I tried to open the door it left a mark on the top of the snow where it pushed away a bit, so I think we have 3 or 4 inches. I can't see the top of the cistern at all. Silly Baby cat is outside playing in the snow. I tried to get her to come back in but she seemed to be having fun sticking her face into the snow.

Yes, there will be a football game on later, but dh doesn't like either team.

Later...

Dishwasher got emptied and refilled and now it's doing it's job. Dh went outside after he had his coffee. He might start to clear the snow. He also went to get a pack of hamburger out of the chest freezer.

Weather update. It's only minus 2 and it isn't windy. It is still snowing.

Morning….

I had a sinus headache for much of yesterday. I did several loads of laundry though.

Most of my morning routines are done. I’ll be watching the game tonight

LadyM … I sleep longer in the winter. My body follows the sun. When it goes down, so do I and when it comes up I wake. In the summers I get less sleep for the same reason. Now that I’m older I don’t fight the going down with the sun, but when I was a teen and a young adult I did have a problem with it. My friends used to tease me and call me Cinderella because I had a difficult time staying up past midnight. Some people are grumpy when they first need to get up in the morning, but I get grumpy when I get tired and have to stay up.

I am sorry you had a sinus headache d rose! hope you are better! yay on morning routine being done!

hello d cathy - thank you for starting us!!! hope the snow is not a problem! we are in a winter drought - its so unusual for us not to have snow. I bet the kitty is so cute playing!!!!
I am not into either team either.
stay warm d cathy

we have flurries but nothing else - I put salt out yesterday but it was for naught, lol, at least I was ready in case of ice.
We are supposed to have 80% chance snow on Wednesday - dh's appointment

my goal: laundry as it had babies
I have decided to take all my extra things that I want to do and put them on cards (including meals) - I will keep my list on the computer but I think I need to pull one thing at a time so that my brain does trick me into thinking that I have to do everything at once.
Overwhelmed is not a good look at me.

Today is a put away day and a day for creativity. (also personal care)

have a wonderful day!!! :D
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Yes, there will be a football game on later, but dh doesn't like either team.
Perhaps we should refer to this as the chance to have four uninterrupted hours of crafting? or reading?

I slept in - nearly nine a.m. It's still dreary out and we had rain during the night. Temp is 50 going to 60. I never know how to dress around here.

I started an instacart order last night and finished it this a.m. for delivery to arrive late this morning. I don't know when dh will be home. He said they would bowl six games yesterday and six today, and we're eastern time zone, not central so it kind of takes an extra hour to get home when you go west to east. I took out some beef/barley soup from the freezer for our supper.

I've tried everything that on the pink screen that I know how to do - and running it without the monitors so I know it's the laptop, not the monitors. Issue has been off and on for awhile. Usually shutting it down and leaving it for awhile solves it for awhile, but it's continual right now. I'm taking it on Tuesday, and the institute courses are on wednesdays, all day beginning 19 Feb, so I have time to get it fixed up.

This has been sitting awhile, I've added to it along. Laundry going, dog walked, a.m. routine underway. I need to do some calendaring today too.

I'm in slow motion today. DH went to church this morning but I wasn't ready, so I stayed home.

31-46F with partly cloudy is our weather for the day.

I'm not sure what i am going to do today other than the normal. Teens expect to be fed every day so I will be doing some food prep.

I'm not interested in watching football, but I do love the commercials that typically happen during the Super Bowl. I will probably just do a search for the commercials after the game and binge watch them.

Food prep so far today -
** Eggs and hot links
** Pizza rolls
** Chicken nuggets
** Cooked apples
** Fish Filets
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

I am looking forward to the half time performance by Lauren Daigle. I'll skip the rest as I do not care about either team.
It was a great excuse to do some diff. type of food prep. however.

I slept in till 7 usual for me.
By the time I was done with my QT stuff and listened to a 40 min. inspirational talk it was 10:30.
I fixed my greakfast.
24* / 30* today's temps. snow is already melting off the spaces I usually do snow removal on.
Worked on my mission statement.

I cannot seem to log in with my phone/ I do not use it much with my phone however so it's not urgent.

It seems like everyone in my home are quiet and to themselves. Mom is getting stuck in a couple circles of action/thought. She hasn't done that for a bit. spoke to dd in Florida and she was at a coffee shop with her dog.

I feel happy and joyous - it's amazing what a week will do! Not having headaches makes a world of difference.
it's sunny and I am grateful for it.

As I type mom is having lunch next to me and is out of the last loop - I am busy doing my thing.

fixed up my terrarium with only 2 plants and new soil/charcoal and small stones. waiting of the soil to heat up a bit.

waving to all of you!

d Nancy how nice the snow melted before you had to work on it!!!
waving

hi d lady too. slow motion is good for a Sunday!
yes teens expect to be fed every day - that made me smile!!!

d twins I like the idea of 4 uninterrupted hours of crafting or reading
glad you slept in.
yay on starting through your day

hello d all!

I am doing put away. room by room. hoping to do some creativity work soon.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I cleared off the top of the dryer yesterday. That means I moved everything to the island. I actually put stuff away today. Everything was clean. Clean towels are all away. Clean quilts are all away. Clean blanket went on to the couch/sofa/chesterfield and the one on there got washed and now it's dry and still in the dryer. Dh is currently stretched out on the bed, so that blanket is next.

I am doing some large pots and pans and the metal utensils are all done. Dishwasher needs to be emptied.

Dh asked for rigatoni with meat sauce, so I will be busy with that between now and 5. It's 3:15ish now.

Dh used the snowblower on the patio earlier, so it's almost clear down to the unilock bricks. One of the older cats went out and came back in almost immediately.
