Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Thank you for starting us off today Twins' Mom!
I have taken out the kitchen garbage and realized I had to wash that garbage can. Garbage bag is in the bathroom so dh can help me change that garbage can. Compost has been removed from container on the kitchen island. That container also needs to be rinsed out. Last, but most needed is litter box. Off to do that now.
Later...
litter box is done. Now the only thing on my list is to get all the dishes into the dishwasher.
Even later...
All dishes and mixing bowls are in the dishwasher. I've also done most of the pots and pans. There is the pot that I boiled potatoes in that is in a sink full of hot water along with the large utensils and the sharp knives. After that is done, I am done for the day until it's time to make supper.
I have even gotten all the laundry put away. I need to take everything off of the coat tree of doom in the corner of the bedroom. It has all the "I can wear that again" clothes and housecoats.

Ta da! Three laps with the dog and dfriend M and R uby. Quiet day, except that dMillie goes to the vet this afternoon. That won't be quiet - it's stressful and I'm always exhausted, even with her drugged up. I was hoping that dh could/would go with me - made it for 4:30 hoping he could go before he bowls, but no, he's got a meeting.
He has no idea what goes on there, and I want him to see that it's not an easy proposition.
My omelet today has mushrooms and kale, and a bit of cheese. I cut up the rest of the strawberries so they are readily available in the refrigerator.
I need to start up the roomba today. Several phone calls OMM.

I have turned on the dishwasher. Stovetop has been cleaned. Half of the island is now clean and dry and mostly clear. Dh has his medicinal cookies in a cookie tin that lives at that end of the island. The hallway has been mopped. Lots of snow and dirt has been tracked in.
Woohoo!! Dh fixed the snowblower/tractor!! Something had become disconnected under the seat so it was constantly stalling and we had to tow and push it around in the snow for 2 days. Thankfully a neighbour blew out our driveway yesterday.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
It is a slow household today. The teens are staying in bed because it is cozy and comfortable. I have given each of them 3 tasks to do by EOD but am leaving it up to them to manage their time.
The refrigerator is empty of ready-to eat food so i will be cooking some today. So far I have made omelettes and French toast. I have a smoked ham butt on the counter and will be slicing and making something out of it. Potatoes will be cooked and maybe the teens favorate food (mac & cheese). I'm sure there will be more but I prefer to let my inspiration happen while I am in the kitchen.
The predicted cold weather arrived overnight. Currently it is 4F (feels like) and headed downward to -15 later tonight. Needless to say....there will be no gardening time happening for me.
DH is doing so well....but chunks of memory is missing. Today DH asked me if I had talked to D & W lately and how are they doing. The casual question caught me off guard and I was stunned. I looked to see if DH was seriously asking that question and he was. I told him my brother D died 13 years ago. DH didn't remember it happening. Now DH is experience the feeling of loss and grief of D death again. My teeny tiny hope is dashed. DH memory loss is not being solved by changing medication.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
I'm so sorry, LadyM. But is it still possible that on the whole he may be better? Does dd have any online school today?
ta da! Roomba going finally. All the cooking over the weekend took a toll on the kitchen, and I never got it going yesterday. Lots of dog fur always, too. ta da! CPAP stuff cleaned.
ta da! Scheduled mammogram
ta da! lol folded and put away, another in dryer
ta da! took apart, recut stems, and re arranged Valentine's bouquet from dh.. It looked stuffed into a tall vase, better proportion with cut stems, and I took some other flowers out of it to put on breakfast table.
ta da! Set an alarm so I won't forget to give ddog meds 2 hours before vet visit.
Need to make two more DPCs.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
ta da! - triple batch of mac and cheese made. After it was assembled I put part of it into the air fryer to melt the extra sharp cheese on top (DS16 request).
ta da! - Ham butt sliced and packaged into meal size portions. 6 were put into the freezer, 2 into the refrigerator and I fried the last meal size portion.
ta da! - Potatoes washed, halved and put into the instant pot. This is our favorite way to eat potatoes. They are so tender and ready for each person to decide on their preferred toppings.
ta da! - Beets put into portion size containers.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
I'm happy to report I have a new battery in the truck they tested it first like I asked got one that's
a 7 year one. They were redoing the paint there and the tires were out so it did not smell like
rubber that I dislike more open and I was able to get right in and walk around the show room in part of it for some of my steps today yea!
I did let dson know I was at the place getting the battery installed.
I rolled up the cord to the charger and got it put away put away the charger before I left.
Then it was off to W-mart I'd checked and they had some in stock, I Got a new microwave got help loading it in the truck.
It was a challenge to get it out but I had the help of the folding wagon did it! Did not have to call dson after all.
it works and the clock is set. I found a cone of the white yarn I need for finishing up some sets of dish cloths to go with hot pads I've
already done.
Went to JoAnn's and got some items one I had put off; a punch for pages in my planner.
And some fun new colors of yarn.
Got food put away and then over to the market for a couple of items the other place
did not have any fuel the truck that last rig is going yea!
Took ddoggo with me to get fuel to get her out of the house.
It's raining a bit glad b/c the windshield needed that.
Got my steps in today.
Thinking of Harriet and all of you today.
I have 99% of the stuff put away now.
Still need to de-bone the rotisserie chicken.
And put my new yarn away & the punch.
