Twins thanks for the start this morning.
Starting off with a win / got the meat out to thaw from the basement freezer when I did my
March around those rooms. It's amazing what just moving or putting away one thing a day can do for a room by the end of the month!
Finished a hot pad another one with a white strip in the middle and have the next one going for this set.

Make meat balls is omm. I woke up thinking I could do that with pizza sauce. Done!
Sun is up did my morning at stuff except for journaling saving that for later when it's warm and I"ll go outside and write
I am looking forward to that!

Had bfast temp is normal for me / lower than average.
Hello Bw2

Nancy… I posted abt meatballs in the healthy habit site.

I’m gonna March… really a little more than just March… away in a moment to my walking video.

bw2, wellness for your dh. You've posted about how hard it is to have him attend to his health, I'm so glad he's heading to the ER now instead of later.

Beautiful morning here! We'll be at the river with friends later, and the get-together this evening was cancelled. It was to see Z (our other son) and his baby daughter. Their flight was delayed and delayed yesterday and they finally had to cancel the trip altogether. It was to be a quick in and out, thus the get together at his father's (#1, that is) to see as many people as possible.

No plans for our supper - hope we can do something with A and V, dh was going to see her at Torah study this a.m. so he'll come home with plans.

Finally getting my brunch. Two laps this a.m. with ddog, only 2/3 mile or so.

BTW, I've done it again with March fitness thread, which I started this a.m. It's down the page again. Will take Harriet explaining it to me again!

Dd older wouldn't take no for an answer - She can be a force of her own :D!
Dh must have been scared to call his ENT. I am relieved he finally went. dd older is staying bc he will say no to everything and leave the hospital. With dd he can't be too stubborn.

the yay is that dh doesn't have covid, the flu, or rsv.

hello d rose, d twins, d Nancy, d everyone.

he has pneumonia and he is staying over night for antibiotics
I will keep an eye on mom as well..

Rose I saw that post about meatballs I have had frozen ones and I do not like them much.
I did up my meat loaf recipe and used an ice cream scoop for them plus I know what
goes in them and the spices I can tolerate.
I guess I could have tried a diff. brand [ but these are bigger.]
Got the trash dumped.

Not sure what is next.

Hope every one has gotten the new pneumonia vaccine!

have you tried the fanny farmer meatballs. I add parmesan to them too - it's a simple recipe.

What are your thoughts this first day of March? Do Share!
My thoughts are.....WHAT WAS I THINKING? Obviously, I wasn't. I know how dumb of an idea it is to go shopping on the first day of the month. I knew it was the first day of the month but somehow that fact didn't compute to what it would mean at the store. I groaned with disappointment when I realized my mistake. There were toooooo many people! Parking spaces were only available when someone left. Every aisle was full of people. The checkout lines were all staffed but every register had a dozen or so carts/people to be checked out. I am thankful for the scan-and-go app. We were able to get in/out of the store in under an hour with about $300 of groceries.
On the positive side - even the total strangers were happy and chatty. It was a good & upbeat atmosphere even though I don't like being in crowds and wanted to get out of there ASAP.

I have several food items to process. I need to find a movie or something to watch while working in the kitchen. My future self will be thankful that I took the time to do this.

DS16 and GF are here with another teenage couple. The other teenage couple just found out they are expecting a baby.
