Re: Simply Sunday PWYC
Good morning!
bw2, saw in your other place that dh is still in hospital. I'm glad he's getting the care he needs, and you're getting a break for a bit.
Nothing firm on agenda today - we may go to river today if dfriends will be there. I thought we would go yesterday but they had a TKD tournament for their gs so it was late afternoon before they were free. They came over and we ordered dinner out - they were gone by 8 p.m. I think so I still had down time.
I spent a lot of time on the computer, continuing the research I had started. I changed directions - I'm going through the 80 something page booklet about the family that is at the state library and archives and documenting every reference to my ancestors that I want to follow up on. Some of it will be getting original copies of records at the Library of Virginia to follow up.
I'm calendering the week in my planner. Thank goodness not as many trips out!

Re: Simply Sunday PWYC
I am up after a good night sleep. I received 3 phone calls before 8am so life seems to be rocking along normally.
Bonus - I have been to the garden 3 times this morning. We are predicted to get rain later today so I want to use the hours of bright sunshine as much as possible.
DH has an upset stomach so he isn't eating. I will be monitoring his blood sugar a little closer until he returns to normal.
I stumbled upon another SHE group online where I used to post frequently. That forum has my post back to 2007. I will be capturing my posts and incorporating them into my OneNote daily pages journal. I have daily journal pages for the past 10ish years or so but after that it gets intermittent. I enjoy looking back at what I was doing a year ago today...2 years, 3 years,....all the way up to 20+ years ago today.
Next up - 1 thing outside, 1 thing inside, 1 thing to take care of myself
** Breakfast RTE (ready to eat) into refrigerator
** Trash & scraps out of house
** Fill my daily med containers for the month

Reminding myself....
Keep it simple.
Don't over think it.
Just do the next thing
1 thing outside, 1 thing inside, 1 thing to take care of myself
** Plant potato and onions
** Deep clean a refrigerator shelf
** Order Magnesium capsules
Wondering what Cathy is doing.......

Keeping it simple here, too, LadyM. No river for today - V is home doing home things. I'm actually a little relieved.
I took ground beef out of the freezer to make chili later. Dh is out tonight but I need to eat too. Probably some to the freezer too.

Hello, all!
Thinking of blessed's family - a big "get well soon" to dh.
I fielded a very long phone call with a dcousin.
Dd26 and dsonil plan to visit this afternoon.
I combined the still-blooming stems from my two vases from the 14th and now have one pretty, small vase of carnations, fuchsia and baby's breath on the coffee table.
Still trying to come to grips with why my energy and stamina flagged Friday, etc. I have done some experimenting with my outing-shoes on and seem to do better with steps, stairs, etc., as far as being stable. Doesn't explain the fatigue and muscle weakness, though, and there may be multiple causes.
HRH has planned our route for the two Tuesday appts and made himself a map. He changed the toner cartridge in the printer, too, and printed out the calendar.

Re: Simply Sunday PWYC
DS16 has 3 people here. GF and another couple. I really like these friends of his and they treat DH and myself with the greatest of respect. They seek us out to ask questions and seem to really want our opinion. Of course, they have their flaws (don't we all) but overall they don't seem to be a negative influence on DS16. IMHO, peers are a huge factor at this phase of getting DS16 raised.
Just do the next thing
1 thing outside, 1 thing inside, 1 thing to take care of myself
** Cook Sunday typical meal. Chicken nuggets in air fryer. DS16 asked if I could fix enough for every one.
** Spread hay over freshly planted raised bed.
** Update my spreadsheets

Re: Simply Sunday PWYC
Checking back in with an update:
dson got back in touch with me on the potting shed situation and asked for pics so I sent those
of the board that came off and things he can just put it back together with screws! So happy for that news!
He has been super busy this week.
I am glad for the steps outside that gave me to get the pics.
Ddoggo had hear food.
96.3 today's temp.
Harriet I luv reading about your flowers!
Mine are silks b/c of allergies.
Did my journals.
Resting day here.
