New Adventures Sunday PWYC

I'm on the road to new adventures as a genealogy research library this week! What new adventures can you envision in your future? Let's go make some adventure!

Twins', so happy for you, pursuing something interesting to you. What days will you be away?

The dcousin with shoulder pain mistakenly dialed my phone yesterday. When I returned the call, we enjoyed a chat about future hopes, adventures that might happen. We each recalled a different aunt who, when unable to get flowers planted, had just popped artificial ones into pots at front of houses and still enjoyed them, lol. (These were definitely different folks from my gardening aunts). We laughingly decided that although next year may be the year we adventure in the out-of-doors more, this year might be the one to make our own
"faux pots". :D

My more mundane adventures today include trying to keep up the not-nauseous feelings with which I awakened. I couldn't "stomach" supper last evening, but I think breakfast may happen. Also, if I can do some indoor walking today, I want to make up for the sedentary days at appts. HRH was dead set against it last night and asked me not to, but I think today it might be fine.

Also, the man who will encapsulate under the house wants to come. I don't know if he is going to work today (?) or just wants to check measurements or something. I am not morally opposed to others doing work on Sundays here, it just seems unusual.

Hoping for check-ins from blessed, Ramblin' and Kathryn, lucylee - others who have sickness in their homes. I know I am forgetting... ..

Hi!

Harriet I have done that with fake flowers in our front garden boxes before. Our front door is far enough from the road so putting fake dollar store flowers in the boxes can still look good, but I don't have to water them. I might do that again this year.

No adventures planned for today. There is a rock and gem show in the city east of us, but I don't know if I feel like going.

The only housework needed today will be cleaning the 2 litter boxes and putting away the clean clothes in the dryer.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

The only adventure for me today is I may, repeat may make it to the grocery store. I’m still pretty sick but need a few things like Tylenol and cream for my coffee. Can’t send SWeetie cause he can’t drive any more. However, I’ll make him go with me so he can push the grocery cart.

My sunnies made it through the torrential rain and windstorm and remain standing. At least I don’t have to worry abt watering them.

I love it. Faux pots. Lol . Just when dh was trying to read me puns and I was overthinking it 😆. I went with my mom last summer to her aunt's 80th birthday party. Aunt had fake flowers arranged in borders so beautiful I thought they were real. Almost tempting.

I hope you all feel better soon. Harriet is the nausea from the testing,?

Aww hopefully you can make that shopping trip short and home to rest rose.

So far so good there are a lot of cold bugs going around here too.ds15 had it and ddil did. Even poor lil guy might. But we've missed it so far. Thankful.

Today is going to be a break day maybe. A few things I didn't get to before church and then the kids are coming for lunch. So far as planned.

I'm eating my breakfast, packed, and almost ready to go. Haven't loaded the car yet.

Harriet, back maybe next Saturday, more likely Sunday or even Monday. I'd like to do additional sightseeing but may be ready to go home by Saturday?

I'll look in as I can!

Good Morning!

Twins - I hope you have an enjoyable trip. Oh, the places you'll go! And the sights you'll see! I am excited for your adventures this week.

DS51 and family landed at 5am this morning on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. I don't worry about him and family, but it did make me happy to know their travels ended well.

Church this morning was wonderful. I enjoyed every moment of it.

It's Sunday so that means I'm making fried chicken nuggets. Predictable. Teen pleasing. Easy.

((((RR)))) I hope you feel better as the hours pass. Do you have the option of having items delivered to you? I am not versed in all delivery type options because my rural area doesn't offer them.

Thanks, Lauralind, I was proud of that one! I didn't get it myself until I sounded out the sentence I was typing! It won't be amusing, I don't think, for my grandboys who love puns because they are a little young to know language references. My nausea is caused by infusions. I'm being treated through the spring, hopefully will recuperate through the summer and autumn, then feel much better by this year's holiday season.

((Ramblin')) I hope your trip out is quick and efficient, recovery quick, too. Thanks for checking in.

Cathy, a rock and gem show is fun. My late dh and I used to enjoy them, buying small mounted not-so-precious stones, for instance. One of my grandboys has a rock polisher machine he enjoys. Yes, I think the helpful thing would be making a vista point for the flowers not so close to an entry!

LadyM
, glad to hear your dson's family is safely back from a faraway vacation - they will have lots to tell.

Dstepson is here and after some conversation with him I have left him alone with his Dad. He is sad about some things, needs to talk.

Early breakfast was an apple and that went well, so I made myself a scramble for larger meal and ate most. Got my morning pills in. So far, so good.

I was wrong about the workmen - they come tomorrow. Was getting days mixed up, perhaps. They will continue work Tuesday morning, they think, so a day and a half with people under the house.

I believe I will be on time for morning service online today. I have my notes from the series she is in right now for sermons.

Good Sunny Frosty Sunday Morning ladies.
I'm up did my QT & a bit of journaling.
Not sure on my bfast choice yet. X
I have a plan for cooking in the crock pot on the deck today for Sunday lunch but will not start that until it's not frosty out.
Started that.

Hoping the neighbors up the way do not start yelling about cleaning out the garage
it's a dad & kids that live at the granny's. So many cars there too. They might need Flylady intervention! LOL!
Or make it fun like P & P do. Or we do here.

Tweaking my Rx reminder was still on the other time from before so I've tried again to move it back one hour.

Fake flowers are used in abundance here. When i store the fake flowers for winter, they need 2 big plastic totes to hold them all. I have already taken them out of winter storage and put them out in the garden. Did you know it is quick and easy to spray paint the fake flowers? It brightens them up if they have faded from the sun. If it works out like I plan, there will be close to 200 real flowers planted in the garden this year mixed in with the fake flowers. The real flower plants are tiny now, so the fake flowers make the garden full of color and fill the space until the real flowers get to full size. I enjoy seeing flowers - real or fake.
