This musical instrument is a solar-powered music box that is also known as “barrel harp.” It is a perforated cylinder that contains 11,520 holes into which a musician plugs pins to create melodies. These cylinders rotate and the pins start to pluck strings, creating the sound.

Aaaand here goes Sunday!

It's so early here it's not even late yet for a lot of the US SHEs! DH and DS have just left and I am trying to revive myself by the cafe-au-lait magic in a cup. I got some good 6 hours of sleep, which is not bad for me, but not good for a weekend, but that's life. At least there will be more time to my Sunday!
Promised the girls I would take them shopping today, as a mother-daughter bonding thing. They really get the shorter end of the stick a lot, DS gets a lot of one-on-one attention due to his au-DHD, and DBD gets a lot of attention due to being the baby of the family (and also having issues), and they are kinda just stuck in the middle, no big problems, no big attention. So, a bonding time! Plus, they've grown over the winter and they really lack spring attire and shoes.

Good morning, trissie. Interesting read about the sharpsicord. I went down a small rabbit hole looking it up, the sounds it makes, what it looks like, Bjork’s song featuring a sharpsicord… thanks for the knowledge. I know your girls will enjoy the outing.

Cute story, we used to own a lot of chickens and turkeys but are down to our last turkey, a beautiful royal palm, white with a black stripe across his tail, and he gobbles a lot. In Friday I noticed a female wild turkey walking around our back yard, she looked to be alone, it’s been years since I’ve seen any wild turkeys in our yard. Well on Saturday I looked over and there she was, laying in the grass outside his pen while he looked on. I don’t know if they’re courting or what but it looks really sweet. His pen is about 100’ x 100’ and open so if she wanted to she could fly in and visit so I’m wondering if she will.

Good morning Trissie and thank you for the start -an instrument Id never heard nof, but fascinating! I hope DS enjoys his beekeeping competition and you have fun shopping with the girls.

Gma, I hope DDog starts to feel better soon, especially with all the living care she's receiving. Has /would the vet prescribe an appetite stimulant? I know with cats they can be *very* effective.

Bama, how lovely that your turkey may have found a lady friend!

Church this morning and coffee with DF E. I missed the announcement last week that we are to get a new curate - we should find out more today.
