Are you on a trip of have returned from one?
I have a couple of family members home safely after travels.
I always appreciate it when PWYC is in the subject line making this thread easier to spot.
I have traveled out to the curb to place the can there.
two stacks of old journals went with other stuff yea for more space freed up this week.

Look up recipe. x
Trekked outside to plant seeds in the rain this a. m.
while quiche was baking.
-----
Back inside from the gardening adventures.

I have been able to get the pumpkins & flower seeds planted and watered.
Wheeled my garbage can back in from the curb.

Good morning!

I traveled by car and on foot this morning. DD13 delivered to school with rain & lightning happening. After the storm passed then I went for a morning walk.

Beat the trash truck game was a success this morning. Question - do you have people putting trash into the truck or is it automated? We have two people who hang onto the back of the truck while traveling between trash cans and then jump off to put trash into the truck.

((((Blessed)))) we are here for you anytime you need a shoulder or just someone to listen.

Hi everybody!! We have a "new" Prime Minister. Mr. Mark Carney. He is a Liberal. He took over the Liberal party from Justin Trudeau. The leaders of the other 2 parties (Conservatives and NDP) both lost in their ridings, so both might have to step down. I think the NDP guy has already said he is going to.

I have been busy in the kitchen this morning. I made rice pudding. I made jello. I made pasta salad. I'm currently making potato salad.
Just waiting for the potatoes to cool.

It's going to be almost 80 degrees here today and it's very windy. Tornado watch is in effect for most of southern Ontario,

We are having chicken thighs for supper.

Lady M we have one guy driving the truck who will get out to help if needed and one guy holding on at the back. He gets into the front when there is a distance to the next pick up.

From the beach: our garbage is automated. The bins have a bar on the street side that is snagged and the bin goes up and over truck to be emptied. Same for recycling. Y think there’s only the truck driver.

Lady M, we have wheelie bins for our rubbish, and I guess you could say it's partly automated. Our dustmen work in teams of 3-4, with a driver who just drives the dustcart. The other members of the team ride in the cab if they're going a long distance, or else follow on foot. They push the bins up to the dustcart, but the actual emptying is automatic.

Cathy, I've heard of Mark Carney - he used to be Governor of the Bank of England. I guess we can say it's a small world! :D

I took Freddie to the vet for his -weekly Solensia injection for his arthritis this morning. No one got bitten, scratched or attacked, so iny eyes, it went well. I've been had some time in my garden as it's been a beautiful sunny day, and also cleaned downstairs today.

Our garbage has been like Twins described for a long time now, but we used to have the kind where 2 men rode on the back of the truck.

I’m waiting on pizza at the gas station. I did color my hair, and I’ve been to the school to get dgd’s Dr Seuss book, which her teachers signed. I guess I should go ahead and fill up the car.

DD13 home from school. State testing is half over.
Monday - Reading test
Tuesday - Writing test
Wednesday - Science test
Thursday - Math test
Each test is 3 hours long.

Another trip was made to the tag agency without success. Somehow the VIN was changed on the insurance policy to one of our vehicles. How could that happen? We have owned this vehicle for 7 years and it has been on the same insurance the whole time. ANYway, I think (hope) this mismatch VIN has been corrected so the insurance and state computers are in agreement and tomorrow we will be able to renew the tag.

We have 3 extras here this evening. DS16 has 2 friends here and DH has a friend here.

WHOOO-HOOOO!!! I finished planning the homeschool assignments for the rest of the school year. ***Big Sigh of Relief***

Woo hoo!! SIL is home!

I put the clothes that hadn't gotten put away yet back into the dryer to get unwrinkled.
Dishwasher is going.

Other than needing more Miracle Whip, dh proclaimed the potato salad very good. The pasta salad was also very good. The rice pudding is almost gone, because we both love it. Raspberry jello was also really good.

The wind has died down. It rained, but not like we were told it was going to. No thunder or lightning around here, at least not yet.

I've also washed a few of the larger pots from today.
