Nancy - Thank you for opening the PWYC village today.

We are experiencing an unusual amount of rain. We had 4.5" of rain overnight and it is still raining. That is on top of the 6.2" of rain we received a couple days ago. Flooding is happening in low places. Some local schools have been cancelled or went virtual. Our school announced the buses will run their routes to pick up the kids but safety is priority and some roads may be flooded resulting in some kids not being picked up. Those kids will be given excused absences. DD13 thought that was unfair. :) The military base and many businesses have announced they will be delayed opening today. I am not directly affected other than observing the changes all this rain brings. The ponds are overflowing. The bar ditches are full and running across the roads in some places. Our yard is squishy wet with water standing so we can't mow the grass.

Some of us are experts glitches getting in here starting yesterday evening. Giving errors. Have you notice or is it just us. Winning at Wednesday. I like it. I need productive. And rest time. And if at all possible I'm going to claim the day as mine. Lots that should get done. I'm going to see if I can get out of it if dad calls. I just won't call him. Need all of what is left of my energy. Usually if I end up there for a couple hours I end up not getting very far here.

Inside routines
Renovate cat litter box situation
Outside clean dog area
Finish creating the flower bed dh helped start with rock border

I have experience those errors when trying to display SHE forum today. It appears the errors are coming from the hosting site. Thankfully they seem to be recovering and displaying our SHE village after refreshing the browser.

DD13 has been delivered to school without mishap. I was tempted to drive around to see the flooding damage happening but decided to not be foolish. Our phones have been going off with that LOUD alert every couple of hours with national weather service issuing flash flood warning. If I knew how to disable that redunant LOUD alert, I would.

Hi!
Hopefully I won't be doing as much in the kitchen today. There is pasta salad and potato salad for later. Dh finished the rice pudding last night and the jello is almost finished. I got into the rice pudding before I went to bed and then I got into the jello this morning while I was waiting for the kettle to come to a boil for my tea.

Dh got a delivery of his pot cookies this morning. The person that makes them for him works at a group home on our street. She delivered them on her way to work.

I had a dream that involved buying pork chops last night, so I told dh we were having a pork chop for supper. The pork chops we buy are quite large and one is enough for both of us.

Dh wants to get some ground beef on sale at a store to our west, so we plan on going there at some point today.

We also have to move the trailer back to it's regular parking place beside the garage today. Dh tells me he hit the fence with it yesterday trying to park it. He also said the damage isn't bad.

I have to switch over the laundry later this morning.

The rain has finally stopped. We have a couple of hours for the water to get off the roads before we leave.

This afternoon is consult with an oral surgeon about DS16 wisdom teeth removal. I will be asking for details if they are prepared and how they plan to deal with his emergence delirium from general anesthesia.

Before the appt we will go to medical equipment place to get DH cpap replacement mask and hopefully have enough time to get some cold items from Sam's. The cold/frozen items will have to sit in the vehicle while we are at appt. I don't have enough time to get the the frozen foods afterward the appt. We will be cutting it close with the time. DS16 appt is 2:15. I know they will be doing xrays, exam and consult so I am allowing an hour for that appt. Then it is a 30+ minute drive (if roads are clear) afterwards. DD13 gets out of school at 3:45. Hopefully we will make it in time.

DS16, GF and another friend have decided to start tracking their food using the LoseIT app. I applaud their desire to learn and be aware of what they consume. DS16 GF weighs less than 100 lbs so she isn't trying to lose weight. DS16 does want to lose weight so I suspect the GF is doing it to be supportive. DS16 and GF are making breakfast burritos in the kitchen now. They each have a pan they are cooking the egg filling with their choice of fixings to put into the tortilla wrap. Life skills are being learned.

(((((Harriet))))) It is good to see your CI.

We made it back to our little town at 3:43. I had two minutes to spare!

DS16 will have all 4 wisdom teeth removed on May 22nd. I will be glad when this is a piece of history.

All the cold/frozen food has been unloaded and put away.

I am ready for a break.

LucyLee is over on our FBook page. I tried to quote LadyM, but it didn't exactly look like a quote or what I copy and pasted from earlier.
