Thank you for starting us, bw2! The question is: What are you doing? We want a full report from you sometimes when you can catch your breath! In agreement with LadyM that you have your hands full.

I have NOTHING on the calendar for today and I'm loving it. I received my stampin up paper share yesterday - a quarter of a package of each 12
x 12 design (i.e. printed paper for stamping or scrapping) so I'm feeling crafty and hopefully, creative.

Last night's meeting went well, was longer because everyone was eating and a longer discussion, but it was done by 8. A couple of neighbors came over after for a celebratory drink. BTW, the vote to raise HOA dues was unanimous, so no conflict there, thank goodness.

Dh worked out this a.m. and then s2s-ed and went to the office. He'll be back around noon and he's playing golf with a neighbor this afternoon.

I'm here!

My goodness, vets cost a lot of money. Dh and I have decisions to make. Test results are pending. I brought tortie cat home with me.

I have walked today a friend had lots to share about her many family med. issues of
ones that have passed on. I reminded my self she needed some one's ear.
Hydrated & had half of my cranberry juice rest I'll have with lunch.

Glad I did my anti p task for today was bag up the empty plastic containers that
"I might need some day" to go out later! That feels great!

MIxed up soup stock for lunch & ddoggo's is ready as well.

I have been seeing many butterflies it's my June theme in my comp. notebook.

Waving to every one & thankful for a cooler day.

The garage area that I am assigned to sort/tidy/declutter today was easy. I found myself CHOOSING to do other areas because I wanted to. Huh? I have been ignoring this for so long because it just seems overwhelming. I am somewhat confused about how it is becoming something I want to do.

I spent some time and effort updating the kitchen spreadsheet. Although there is very little food that is in the barely working refrigerator to track, it gives me the opportunity to focus on freezer and pantry. I pulled several packages out of the freezer because they had been in there long enough. Either we eat them, or they get tossed. The French Bread Sticks and frozen pizzas were cooked. My carb loving family will make them quickly disappear. The onion rings were tossed because they aren't a favorite of anyone. Since I missed the opportunity to put them in trash pickup this morning, I took the packages to the church dumpster Most of the staff and many members are at church camp this week, so I know the dumpster won't get much use. I was surprised to see the use by date on the tuna fish cans was Oct 2028.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is the insurance company is covering more than what my cost to redo the kitchen is. The bad news is the granite cannot be put back on my cabinets until next Monday. I can work around that. The walls have been sheet rocked Sanded and painted and they look great. Next step Joseph will bring the cabinets in and he will set them, so they’ll be ready for the granite.

Hopefully my pantry will be put back together again before the weekend. Right now everything is hidden under plastic and sheets and my dining room table and everything under the dining room table and in my guest bedroom. If I can get my pantry put back together, I’ll feel a lot better.

We have had much-needed rain with thunderstorms and lightning. It’s been sunny for a little bit this afternoon but the rain clouds are coming back. I have no problems with that because we were so dry around here so I’m thankful for the rain.

Blessed… I hope life is becoming a bit easier for you as you navigate your journey with your mom.

LadyM… I am looking forward to re-organizing my pantry and my kitchen cabinets. The only thing about a small freezer on my refrigerator is you can’t store a whole lot of things long enough for them to go bad.

Life in the Tennessee mountains… my girlfriend has a home on top of a high ridge in the smoky mountains. She has four dogs.. shepard’s doodles and Pyrenees. She also raises goats. Last week a critter got into her goat barn and stole one of her goats and of course ate it. Last night she had bears in her goat barn and they got two of her goats. The bears are getting out of hibernation, so they’re really hungry, but the problem is once the bears know where there is food they’re likely to come back.

Waving to you all. Hope to be back later bye

I'm upstairs doing a little crafting and a little researching. Somehow I don't feel particularly crafty today.

I have had lunch.
Got the floors mopped today.
I've dusted the living room and under stuff on the kitchen & dining room.
Laundry is dry upstairs folded & I'm working on getting the bed reclaimed and some is put away.
Thinking on outfits for the rest of the week.

Did my knitting for today after lunch.
Started reloading the can with branches and weeds for the next week.
Dinner is thawing now.

Nice day out a bit on the cool side clouds have given way to sun again now
with a slight breeze.

I've had a good day today!

It's nearly my bed time, but today I've been for a walk to post the birthday card to a DF, did a little in my tiny front garden (it was too soggy underfoot after overnight rain to do anything non the back), cleaned the sitting room and the patio doors. I've also had lap time with Freddie and Matilda (separately! Freddie has his reputation to protect! )
