Iron Man is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Co-created by writer and editor Stan Lee, developed by scripter Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in Tales of Suspense #39 in 1962 (cover dated March 1963) and received his own title with Iron Man #1 in 1968. For me, Iron Man is the character I absolutely hated in his first two movies, but whom I came to like the most of all Marvel superheroes - both in the cinematic universe and mainly in the comics. I wonder what that says about me (highly intelligent control freak with complicated upbringing who would do anything, and I mean anything, to keep "his people" safe, and who survived on coffee and dedication - I mean, who am I kidding? 
He's complicated and makes bad decisions sometimes and gets beaten down, but will always get up again, and I think that's the main trait of superheroes - not "always winning", but "never giving up".

Good morning Trissie and thank you for starting us off with another interesting superhero. This is just a quick CI as I have to be up early to take Freddie for his appointment. Unlike yesterday, I have a feeling that people will *not* be complimenting me on my cat's beautiful big eyes and perfect behaviour today! (Sigh!)

Reorganise office (DH wants a new to him desk that work is getting rid of. Can I empty the tallboy and move it into the bedroom? Remember to measure at its widest point to see if it will fit!
More decluttering in bedroom - drawers under the bed, my clothes (a continuous process!)
Kitchen - measure for fridge, measure where bins are going to go. Order new fridge. Move freezer to where current fridge is now? Go through cubby hole which houses miscellaneous "stuff", including the surplus from my dolls house project (this is on a pause now until the winter, but I have all the pieces I need, ... and a lot of surplus! Get it all out and divide into lots. Do I have enough boxes and bubble wrap? Clean everything so it looks its best and photograph. Write description and list on eBay. I can do most of this this one box at a time, so it isn't overwhelming . Once the boxes are sealed and wrapped and labelled with the contents, I can store them in the garage.
Decide what is going back in cubby hole - gardening trug? Extension cable, spare boxes of cat food? Will my folding chair fit?

Back from the vet. Let's just say Ive had better experiences. Freddie was *very* grumpy today, growled and hissed non stop, and even tried to attack a St Bernard dog. 
He has *no* sense of proportion! However, his injection was safely administered, and there were no injuries, so that's the important thing. He is now asleep on the kitchen table, and I need to sort out the rubbish before having a little time in my garden now it's stopped raining.

Things that need to happen at home before DH retires!
Reorganise office (DH wants a new to him desk that work is getting rid of. Can I empty the tallboy and move it into the bedroom? Remember to measure at its widest point to see if it will fit!
More decluttering in bedroom - drawers under the bed, my clothes (a continuous process!)
Kitchen - measure for fridge, measure where bins are going to go. Order new fridge. Move freezer to where current fridge is now? Go through cubby hole which houses miscellaneous "stuff", including the surplus from my dolls house project (this is on a pause now until the winter, but I have all the pieces I need, ... and a lot of surplus! Get it all out and divide into lots. Do I have enough boxes and bubble wrap? Clean everything so it looks its best and photograph. Write description and list on eBay. I can do most of this this one box at a time, so it isn't overwhelming . Once the boxes are sealed and wrapped and labelled with the contents, I can store them in the garage.
Decide what is going back in cubby hole - gardening trug? Extension cable, spare boxes of cat food? Will my folding chair fit?
