I'm doing my conga at the library today, will conga through those stacks, taking a look at books in Mecklenburg Co., NC, Blount and Monroe Counties of TN, looking for an ancestor. I need to know more, more! It's a treat me to do this.

Phone message late yesterday while I was walking dog from former cemetery chair (who I thought was done, done, and done) needing help for something today. I have to tell her I have other plans - and I do. This time I've carved out is important to me. And I'm so confused about anyone doing anything for the cemetery right now anyway.

I need to eat and get in shower, I'm leaving walking the ddog to dh today, since I walked 10K steps yesterday. When I asked him to walk dog in afternoon, he needed to leave so soon for bowling, so I walked her. Saw dfriend M out and so I walked two laps. temp was only in high eighties so it wasn't too bad.

Currently on hold, so my question is this.... why does all hold music sound bad? This one also sounds identical to my doctor's office. Bad, static doesn't help. It's very boring. UGH! Any way, now I have spoken to someone and he put me back on hold. More of this awful music.

Dh says his arm is much better today. Thankful for that.

I have cleaned all 3 litter boxes and removed the garbage from the bathroom. The clean laundry is all put away. I just need to empty the dishwasher.

It's sunny today and the high is supposed to get up to 90F with the humidex.

Good morning

Feeling no hip pain this morning, I decided to try my longer AM walk routine, and it went perfectly—NICE!

To my surprise, our 10-year-old neighbor joined me, leisurely riding his bike at sunrise. We chatted the entire time as he rode circles around me while I walked. An hour later, he showed up at my door asking for a zip tie.
It was after dark last night when I told DD14 friend that she needed to go home. I tried to do it nicely and invited her to return again another day.
I just told DS17 that he couldn't bring a different young teen neighbor boy to hang out here for the day.
Kids seem to flock here naturally, and I'm doing my best not to increase the count!

DH has two more routine medical tests this afternoon. Lung and bone scan. I will be dropping DD14 off at DD49 home while we are in the city.

Hip pad and digital SHE cards are in use to assist me today.

mom is having a rough start this morning - I did give her some furosemide this morning but not a full pill bc the helper got hurt on Wednesday; she is 5 months pregnant, I have told her not to do it on her own - I am here and it is ok to ask for help. mom had to go to the bathroom 20 times. Helpers mark their day down.

Last night she was really wheezing. I pray what ever happens is that she goes fast when it's time -

this morning she said something that shocked me! Oh my goodness! I couldn't believe it came out of her.

Good morning! I love your start to the day, Twins! Perhaps I will put on some music and annoy my children. Have fun at the library!

Thinking about/praying for all those with medical tests/procedures/appointments today.

Glad your DH's arm is better, Cathy. Hold music is generally awful, isn't it? I think that instead of favoring one group over another, they choose music everyone will hate.

I'm glad you had a good walk this morning, LadyM. And when you think about it, having to turn away teenagers is a good problem to have -- it says your home is a welcoming, safe space.

Oh, my goodness -- 20 times, blessed? I hope things get better today.

Oh, gosh, Nancy! You remind me that I have a load moldering in the washer!

I got my grocery order in last night, and they are working on it now. I ordered it to be picked up between 1 and 1:30, thinking we could stop somewhere for lunch on our way, but it's Friday, and I keep meatless Fridays, so I don't know if that will work... I checked the place I was thinking of, and it should be good -- they have grilled cheese, egg salad, fish sandwiches and shrimp in addition to their meatless burger patty. I'll have the grilled cheese with tomato; I imagine DD will have the shrimp, and I have no idea what DC might want. Oh, shoot! I'm not sure there will be room in the car for all of us and groceries! I might have to rethink that plan after all.

I did not rouse DC early, as I have been all week, getting them ready for school next week. They have not yet shown their face downstairs, and it is time for our daily stint in the playroom. Yesterday was art supplies, and going through all the markers they found to see which were dried out and could be pitched. I wish they would have pitched more, but I think we have storage space for all the ones they kept. Not sure what today will be. I'm hoping to clean out the shelves of the credenza so we can put the things that were stored under the credenza there, so that I can have the space under the credenza to store an under-desk treadmill. I'd like to get one because I can't walk far if the ground isn't level, but I'd like to get back to walking.

Speaking of rousing early, I need to reset my own alarms to make sure I am ready to drive DC on the early days. And I need to try to rouse DC again. And get that laundry taken care of. Have a great day, everybody!

But today must be out and about. Dd is on her way.

HRH was helped out the door an hour and a half ago and finally I got a shower myself. Whew. Cutting it fine. Some breakfast, so the blood glucose won't make sense today.

DD called and we had a nice long chat on the phone.
I listened to some concerns about dgd & had some good things to share.
Got my pj's tried on and they fit rinsed out one pair had to be rinsed several more
times than usually bc of color bleed but look better now. Drip drying a bit on the deck rail.

Time to consider lunch. I have a a plan. Had my lunch.
Only got half a journal page done I'm okay with that.
Ddoggo is napping.

Painted more on that shelf.
P.J. 1 pr. dry one pr. still finishing on the deck the one can be cut to length soon.
Did the dishes.
Hydrating .
Smokey here it's blowing in from the south of us.
