Sophie Marceau (French: [sɔfi maʁso]; born Sophie Danièle Sylvie Maupu, 17 November 1966) is a French actress. As a teenager, she achieved popularity with her debut films La Boum (1980) and La Boum 2 (1982), receiving a César Award for Most Promising Actress. She became a film star in Europe with a string of successful films, including L'Étudiante (1988), Pacific Palisades (1990), Fanfan (1993) and Revenge of the Musketeers (1994). Marceau has appeared on more than 300 magazine covers worldwide and been the face of numerous luxury brands. She was made Officer (Officier) in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Minister of Culture of France in 2003, and in 2015 it was revealed that she had refused the Legion of Honour (Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur).

Good morning, Trissie, and thank you for starting us off.

This week is going to be busy with lots of appointments. I should already be up at at 'em, but instead I'm quietly sipping my tea in bed with Freddie in attendance. (The Girls have bounced off somewhere to discover mischief! ).

This morning I am meeting DF PL for coffee at the community shop, to discuss C's (her Mum) care while she is away. If it stays dry I would also like to do something in my garden, and I need to give upstairs on its weekly clean. DH goes to the office today, so I should have some uninterrupted blocks of time . I also need to email D about parish Christmas lunch today, and order my meds. I think those are both top priority tasks. Fortunately, I can walk to the community shop and back, so I'll get a walk in without any extra effort!

House tasks: Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge? Can this wait until next year when we get the house painted when a roof ladder will be in place?) I need for it to stop raining before I ask anyone to come and look!

Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Reorganise office WIP DH still needs to deal with a crate of "stuff" He's just about done, although there is a crate of "stuff" in the garage which needs his attention - I've picked out a few things that need to come up to the house! I've managed to fit everything in the cupboard -It needs a good sort out and tidy.

Trissie, I don’t know the name but I have seen some of the movies.

Kittykatt, yay on getting in exercise without having to think about or plan it. I love that kind.

Helia, rest is good. I hope everything is going smoothly.

I’m up. I feel like I had weird dreams but can’t remember them so just feel a little off. I’ve read Colossians 2 for the 3rd time in a row, there must be something in it I need to see, since I usually read and move on. It’s not planned. I read it today and went to put it in my notes and saw I had read it Saturday and Sunday. Maybe it will stick this time.

Nothing but chores and decluttering planned today. I really wanted to get the yard mowed but the belt is stretched out so dh had to get a new one. The grass isn’t too horrible but it’s tall enough to tickle my legs when I walk in it which means critters will start showing up if I don’t get it done. Maybe dh can get a belt tonight and I can mow tomorrow. No biggie.

First up for me is spot clean floors and eat breakfast.
