Today I'm focused got my plans down on paper.
Journaled some also.

Waving to all.
OMM might paint some planters & some on a basket.
Thinking of yard fertilizing it.

Figured out how to sent wedding pic. to my dsis! YEA!
-----
Got our walk in.
Painted some planters 1st coat drying now.
Two more things for later in my day.
s2s
sheets / maybe SAt.
------
I have put the next coat on the painting projects.
Doing it outside on the patio and it's relaxing for me.
Made my lunch.

Checking in. Dr was able to move the third appt of the day up to immediately following the second. So our time out will be much less stressful. Will be able to head home within the hour. HRH is really pleased about this.

Good morning

We received a very much needed 1.5" of rain in the past few hours. We have four more days of temps being in the 90's and then they drop into the 80's. I'm starting to monitor the nighttime temperatures because once they fall below 60°F, it will impact the blooming and production of summer plants.

As soon as the rain stopped we did our 30 minute walk on the trails. We wanted to get it accomplished asap when the temps were still on the cooler side.

I've sent text about making mac/cheese and green beans for tomorrow funeral meal at church.

I’m focusing on one hour at a time since looking at the whole day tends to overwhelm me. I have a general idea of what’s coming up later, but I prefer not to think about it until it’s necessary. Whether it’s called compartmentalizing or time blocking, it’s working for me. My energy level stays high and I don't get that overwhelmed shutdown mode happening.
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.
When life gets difficult, learn to sing & dance in the rain.

hello all!

the good - mom's numbers are better - the dr. said that I could easily do the iv instead of mom going to the nursing home for it.
she is a fighter. last night she was weak but talking to us.
mom's nurse was one that dh had before.
my opinion is that mom should be on hospice - mom said she wants to come home and doesn't want to die quite yet. sweet mom. she is a fighter.
I can't see her going on like this - I wouldn't want it.

dd younger is hurting and did too much but she is getting better each day.

dd older is with mom again but at least she came home last night to sleep.

dh has been so good.

I will be spending the day and night there after 1:00 pm
brother is at dr. appointment

Keeping the faith - and working to be positive. I had an overwhelm moment - thinking - and I picked up a card - the next right thing. it helped.
--------------------------------------------

hello d lady - so happy you had rain!!! we need rain too. how nice that you could walk on the trails.
so nice that you do funeral meals for your church. it's a good thing.
yay on time blocking - glad it helps you stay away from being overwhelmed.

d harriet - glad you were able to work out the appointments to be closer together - much better! I am happy for both of you

hi d Nancy yay on getting your plans on paper!
waving
can't wait to hear how your day went
yay on sending a pic to your d sis

hi d twins - thank you for focusing us today!!!!

hello d everyone.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I need to play with the animals

next:
s2s - it's already 10:30 and I havent' gotten ready yet. dd is at the hospital
meds me.
kitchen work and put away
I am in the process of watering as everything is dying bc we have had lots of heat and no rain for awhile
zone 7 a is in the process.

I have to call the yellow jacket people again bc no one is returning my call. it's by the water spigot and they are extremely unhappy that I am there.
I just move slowly so that I am not a threat.

call dr. re: my thyroid meds

I am keeping track of dd's and our times at the hospital - dd older has been there consistently and she is going to burn out.
dd younger goes with me but needs to heal. She wants to be with mom.

Personal best :D 8-)
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Perhaps I chose Focus because I'm not focused today. I slept until 9:15ish - was tired last night and slept well. I think headache is gone or better.

Dh has gone out for a second time to a pharmacy - that's in addition to going to Rotary this morning. Instantitls at work. He's supposed to have lunch with someone too.

Trying to get the day moving. We're eating out tonight so there's not supper planning happening. Ddog is walked. I tried on some skirts from when I weighed 160 lbs - plus or minus 2020 and most fit, so I will add a black top and be appropriately dressed for Monday p.m. or Tuesday a.m. at temple. I have a black skirt that will go with a cardigan sweater for the other. I don't usually dress the way I do for temple on these holidays so making sure I have something appropriate that fits is a necessity. (I had a card years ago in August for dkids, because they needed to dress also.)

So I've managed most of the "big" cleaning jobs. But I might work upstairs some today and straighten my bonus room. And perhaps stamp a bit. I have tomorrow, Sunday and Monday cleared.
Cooking:
---challah (2 big loaves = two cycles)
---dessert for temple for Monday evening (enough to fulfill the obligations of both me and dh, who are on different temple committees that are asked to provide something for the reception
---gelfilte fish - which must be done on Monday for freshness
Cleaning/dusting: Must do
---Monday, run the roomba
Cleaning/dusting: Like to do
---wipe off top kitchen counters - I see finger prints and even grease on some
---wipe out refrigerator
---wipe down fronts of appliance (best to do Monday since cooking.)
----porch, legs of furniture where there are cobwebs
---ugh, so many of these I can't list
Honey do list
Table clothes/extra serving pieces out.

We're looking at forty or so people.

Blessed…I like the idea of hospice as well. You need to do what’s best for you! You have so much going on I’m afraid that you’re gonna burn out too. I really feel for you at the moment and am sending hugs ❤️

My day is spinning by. Went to coffee gathering earlier and am now eating lunch.

Earlier this morning I wrapped a birthday for my dgs’s birthday party tomorrow and also got a birthday card for my grand nephew.

Weather is still in the 90’s.. ugh! I want fall weather 😉

(((Blessed))) Yes, please try to make some time to rest for yourself.

I am headed out to ANOTHER funeral with my daunt. I may be rushed getting back home in time for ds to get to the ballgame tonight, but I should be okay.
This funeral is for mentally handicapped lady (2 years younger than me) who grew up next door to my grandparents.
Tomorrow is another day.
