Good morning Trissie and thank you for starting us off. I hadn't heard of today's actress either, so something new to learn! :D

The concert yesterday evening was very good. DH had a small solo, which her performed very well. The weather was beaut yesterday, so I also had a very good session in my garden and pruned a couple more roses, and went to visit C. So there wasn't much time for much else! Still, it's supposed to rain today, so I'll have plenty of time to catch up with the house.

◕‿◕ * * * Good Morning! * * * ◕‿◕

Trissie, thanks for the start an all those French actresses. I don't know Gaia Weiss and was amazed you found an actress with a W for Wednesday  so I guess you must have done some research !

kittykatt, we are weather twins as always. Glad you enjoyed yesterday's concert.

Diving right in after a busy week. I'm to take both boys to sports practice, and MrNG will take DS9 for some clothes shopping in the afternoon (DS7 has a play date) so I'll be free in the afternoon - to write yet another appliance letter for another job offer. And he writes one this morning, a 'just in case' job offer before he starts his training on Monday.
Foggy and grey morning, time to feed my young athletes before we get out the door in exactly 59 minutes.

TADAs
up but in bed since around 5.30
read news, email and more
tea, watered tomto plants, one toast with Dutch cheese

TODO
both boys up, fed, dressed, ready for sports
athletics practice for DS9, handball for DS7
buy bread while I'm in that town since we loved the bakery when we lived there

Gma said good night, and I am saying good morning!
Frenchie, did you hear back from the one you applied to last week? I admit to cheating - I googled "list of French actresses" :-)
Glad you enjoyed the concert, kittykatt!

It's scout field trip today - a short one, they have arranged a "training" with the volunteer fire department of the town where they are based. Don't know if volunteer fire departments are a thing in the USA, but here it's very traditional, and small towns and bigger villages will have a volunteer fire dpt station and usually run a club/training session for kids from about 5 years.
Unfortunately, the twins quitted scouts, but DS and DBD continue for at least another year. The twins are at a sleepover anyway, so we'll have an empty house for an hour or two. I want to get started on DS14's room, and of course there's apples! So it's gonna be a busy day as always.

trissie, no news from them and at this point I don't think I will get any. mrNG advised me to add a picture on my resume, which I usually don't do, because of "ethics" (why should people be judged on their faces, their looks, and then maybe their skin color or age, it's unfair, etc."). He says people tend to remember the candidates' profiles better, or at least pay more attention, and when thinking about it he may have a point.
Good luck with the apples !

Sports classes happened, kids were driven back home, kids fought, DS9 gave a kick to his brother, I got mad at him, MrNG had made lunch, we ate but DS9 refused to eat at the same table as his brother.
There are more fight these days. I spend half an hour talking with DS9 about it yesterday before bed - he says he is angry and annoyed and can't help being mean to his brother sometimes. DS7 isn't an angle and can be mean some times, but still he is usually the victim.
Not sure how to handle this. I will try new things. being able to talk with DS9 and that he is able to be truth ful about it, is still a good thing.
It's raining.

TADAs
both boys up, fed, dressed, ready for sports
athletics practice for DS9, handball for DS7
buy bread while I'm in that town since we loved the bakery when we lived there
back home
ate lunch (only three of us)
mostly cleaned up
Now DS9 is in the kitchen eating alone

TODO
MrNG will drive DS7 to his playdate and said he will take DS9 go shop for a winter coat
I hope to get thigns done while the house is quiet
I'm supposed to apply for a job, but I "want" to get house tasks done -> I will see what I can get done

Frenchie, adding a photo on a resume is a double edged sword - they may remember you, but also you could remind them of somebody they dislike, or "not be the type" and be judged based on that. No winning strategy there!

TaDas
- one batch of canned apple bites
- 15 on laundry
- 30 in DS14's room
- striped most beds
- mattress cover flipped in dryer (quite an ordeal, as it had to be hand-wrung and only then would the spin dry on the washer work)
- load of towels started
- bread dough started

ToDos
- one batch of canned apple bites
- 30 in DS14's room
- pack stuff for DF J

Glad you enjoyed the concert last night, Kitty. WTG to your dh on having a solo!
I hope you enjoyed your short time with an empty house, trissie. I hadn't realized the twins had quit scouts. Maybe that simplifies life? Or maybe it means you don't get those childless weeks during scout camps.
Sorry about the sibling fighting, FFB. Hmm... I've never sent a photo with a resume', but it's been a long time since I sent out a resume'. Things change.

I didn't get back her after payroll yesterday. I got home around 2, had lunch, and then just didn't do much else. I was just feeling sad and mojo-less. Dh and I did have a nice evening out, and I binge-watched a show while doing some knitting.

I'm off to a slow start today. Lots of communication first thing -- and now I'm going to get in a jog and get the day started. Moving Mom's stuff out of her room is a priority. We haven't heard if they could use the chest of drawers or not. CG1 is meeting tonight.
