Hi to all.

For some reason, so tired last night that I actually did get to bed close to lucylee's "A perfect day beings at night" card concept.

Was awakened by Tobias' dry food container dropping his 7 a.m. morsels into the bowl, so the house must have been very quiet. He mostly gets wet food, but the kernels are good for teeth. Anyway, that was a long sleep, early night and not a very early morning.

Kitchen is spiffed and laundry spinning.

A smoothie to begin the day, since we've run out of most fruit that isn't frozen. (Actually, I did put a few prunes in.) Grocery list needs handling today.

lucylee, I can think of several reasons a marker might be gone, fewer for why another person's would be there. Was there any potential error in his stone, so that someone might want to replace it? Was his an urn burial, with perhaps just a small plot or portion of a plot?

Today I have planned the order of chores to do in the small bathroom, since I want to finish up with attention to the toilet bowl. I want that floor clean as a whistle for that, in case I get so ambitious I consider using my kneeling pad and scrutinizing. Can't understand why the 30-year-old toilet cleans up better than this 3-year-old one, which doesn't make sense. I may not know the problem, but I know the solution probably lies in elbow grease (and probably Comet).

I learned how to make a home made egg mc muffin w/out
the muffin I used bread cut out with a round coffee can for shape,
cooked egg in mic. added round cheese and taa daa bfast was excellent.

Met a person I did not know but has lived on the street behind for years; his wife has the same
name as your's truly.
Also met new neighbors that are moving in behind & over one house today.
Walked & got my steps in already before noon today.
Lunch is in the oven.

A Happy New Year to Twins!

Glad to hear things went well for Nancy's DGD.

So, I've discovered that my appeal for my surgery in February has to be filed by the end of this week. I had tried an informal appeal earlier (they like you to do that before a formal appeal), and it was denied, and I tucked things away -- for too long, apparently! So I've got a call into the doctors office for the nurse who handles such things, and I've discovered that my insurance company has my phone number wrong, and apparently there are hoops to be jumped through to change it.

Therapy appointment today, so I'll be busy for a bit -- pick up DC, gas, home, work on the playroom for a bit, therapy, lunch, and take DD to work. After that, I can get to the rest of the dailies.

I cannot type this morning -- had to correct so many errors -- and it's about time to go, so I'll sign off. I do talk to you in my head when I'm driving, so you won't see me, but I'll see you!

Been sort of busy here..

Went to gym class and then to Wally World maet to get groceries.

Came home put everything away and finished up my morning routines. Ate my lunch and am finishing up my second cup of coffee.

Off to get my nails done. I love fall and am glad summer is over. Still 90* but a girl can hope

Thank you for reminding us it is the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, blessed. Hearing about the U.N. always reminds me of Eleanor Roosevelt working toward the goal for two years of her life, a great diplomat.

As for me and my great work today, the toilet looks much better. I considered the kneeling pad but decided to perch on my dmother's library stool instead. I may be ready for the trip down to the tight floorspace, but not for the trip back up again.

The grocery list was made and HRH decided to order rather than wait any longer. We turned out to be running out of lots. So he has the screen back door propped open ready for that delivery.

Laundry is out of the laundry twins and folded.

I used a Micron pen and wrote (in cursive - smile) diagonally, and I hope gracefully enough, on a patch of that white fabric. I have a rectangle now that I can seam into the backing of one ornament. When I get this prototype done, unless I see a problem, I may do all of them this way. Just can't get out of my head the worry that using anything but firm stitching might not last the test of time.

My day is progressing along well.

DD14 was dropped off at public school after a discussion about her physical concerns. I keep reminding myself that as long as teenagers keep talking and sharing, it’s a win.

DS17 tackled his homeschool assignments with a few struggles but quickly figured out the solutions.

I made another pot of my favorite soup, packed with four types of protein, five kinds of vegetables, and plenty of contributions from the spice cabinet.

Ha! Perfect Day... It is after 2:30 and I am still sitting in bed. I know y'all must think I have some sort of mental thing going on, but remember, my dmom barely got off the couch for over a year after my dad died. I DO function pretty well when outside obligations demand... but ugh... without outside obligations... I just alternately sleep and watch tv. I got somewhere between 9.5 and 10 hours sleep last night. Maybe my body is just catching up. Now if I can just get it to catch up on the normal night and day routine of the rest of the world.

I'm not D2S yet because I need to color my hair, and I have a certain shirt I only wear when doing that.
I also have a ton of papers on the kitchen table -- teacher group meeting notes that have been hole punched and are ready to go in the notebook, but which I started yesterday and did not finish before going to the ballgame.
I would like to bake some cookies.

And I have to prepare my lesson for tomorrow night, which is really a dud of a lesson, IMHO -- I don't mean to be putting my own abilities down in this case. This book is just ridiculous; no discussion questions, and some lessons have no scripture references.
I had suggested Max Lucado's Tame Your Thoughts before, and one of the ladies seemed very interested in that, but I pulled back a little (book costs $20 in paperback) because I suddenly panicked -- what if that study led me to overshare, you know, and then worry about things I might say?
OTOH... I may suggest we re-think this current book we're studying. I am getting nothing out of it.

RE: OG's stone!
No -- he was in a full-size casket, and there were no errors on his stone. Headstone was fine; six feet away, foot stone was fine.
The only thing is, the "new person's" stone may be facing the other way. This cemetery is really weird. You know how normally, all headstones are lined up facing east? Well, here, according to how the "front" of the stones are printed, some are facing east and some facing west. There seems to be no logic to how they are printed. So that's kinda confusing. But the fact remains... his foot stone is almost touching his dad's headstone and there is nothing between the foot stone and this other person.
I guess I could ask my Dfriend, who was OG's friend, if he has talked to the daughter and knows anything about this. Things were kinda awkward there, however. The daughter was a little estranged from her dad at one point, plus sometimes I think it is painful for my friend to talk about him. And if he has not heard this, it will probably upset him. If my friend's wife were still alive, there would be no problem.
Sigh. I'm probably obsessing about this to avoid facing my "real" life.

I'm going to get on with my "perfect" day. Get my morning routine done. It's only 3:00 pm.
