Ta Da Tuesday PWYC

Post by Twins' Mom »

Let's hear it for the Ta Da list - the things that are accomplished daily, big and small! Sometimes what we haven't done yet feels overwhelming so it's important to recognize that we are accomplishing great things all the time!

I've figured out that my donwannas and desire to do what I want to do is coming, in part, from the Jewish high holy days cutting into these weeks. I just have to live with it. I always have this time for myself thing going on - never seem to get enough of it. But OTOH I can't get myself going in the a.m. (still in pajamas, need to s2s and have brunch). I was up at eight. Tomorrow night is Kol Niedre service and then Thursday Yom Kippur, in which we fast and attend temple most the day. I come home in the middle of the day and get kugel into the oven, then nap a little as relief from the socialization I think.

Anyway, it is what it is.

I need to spend some time soon on the HOA accounting. OTOH, I'm hoping for a local library trip on Friday. I'll need to have myself up and s2s and get out of the house on the early side. Once I've exhausted the local library I'll go to state library and archives. Looks like next week won't work for going to Nashville, perhaps week after?

I'm thinking that I can work on HOA this weekend. Dh has a bowling tournament both Saturday and Sunday, so I'll have a block of uninterrupted time each day.

On to my shower, I'm either running at 110% or nothing, aren't I?

Up on time it was pouring down rain that has stopped.
Have done Q.T. Listened to two great sermons; took notes. journaled & planning.
Had bfast and gotten dressed.
Trash is at the curb glad I remembered to put the broken planter in it first.

Next up two more things O.M.M. not Sure the order of them. TBA I guess.
Not one of the things but my counters need attn. so that could be #3.

Today's tackic is to ignore negative stuff, not worry how long it takes to do stuff.
Looking forward to some other good things and try to focus on the after I complete the not fun tasks.
New work book coming / journals Later in the week.

Hi, everyone.

KittyKatt, I had not heard of that product.
hoping Cathy had some success with removal of painful barbs last night.

We didn't end up going out this morning, which is fine. HRH and grandson got a couple things done yesterday. We know tomorrow will be a busy day. We won't want to stay out too long after HRH's dental appt since dd27 wants to visit.

Come to think of it, need to get those two together to plan the day. She was talking about bringing a meal.

I can't BELIEVE this is the last day of the month.

Twins', that makes sense that you slow down a little in response to the knowledge that there will be a lot on your plate (well, no ... ..smile... .. a lot ON and a lot OFF your plate?) in the coming days, and you mentally prepare. I'll just leave that unintentional pun-ishness there in case it makes you shake your head over me.

Trash needs to be addressed today before the truck at oh-dark-thirty slips past us.

Well my morning began with a 6:30 morning walk. All together we walked 5 miles yesterday. Coco is like the energizing bunny until she’s not. Love to play and fetch and is usually in constant motion.

I changed her food because she’s chewing her paws raw and scratching at her ears. Sadie and Willis did the same till I changed their food to grain free kibbles. Sure enough Coco’s has wheat and corn in it. She also stinks!

I took pictures of her sore paws before I did this so I could show her owners positive results… I hope… when they come home in 6 weeks. She also has the farts which I also know from past experience can be caused by food.

Hopefully Coco is not allergic to the outside environment like Willis was. In the past I gave Willis Benadryl which helped but eventually had to put him on prescription medication medication.

Sweetie and Coco are getting along famously and play fetch and other games for hours. It’s fun to watch them interact and to hear Sweetie laugh.

Need to do another small grocery run. My house looks like a toddler lives here with toys spread all over the house. I have a basket I keep them all in, but Coco is smart enough to tip it over and pull out what she wants to play.

LadyM… love that your dd is enjoying her new do and can take car of it by herself!

Blessed.. hope all goes well with your brother!

Nancy… it sounds like you’re becoming a professional furniture mover 🤣

LOL one the prof. furniture mover!

I've been on three errands one was air up tire that's needed seasonally.
Since I was down town went to pick up the the items I forgot there were four.
Also found a book like an author I like & found new yarn to play with.
Then to the other store for meat.
Chatted with a neighbor on her walk with her doggo.
Also walked my ddoggo after putting my purchases away...
Fetched the can back from the curb.

Still looks like moving day around here sigh.
Rest a bit then do some rounds.

Hi!

Sigh.... the epsom salts didn't work.

It's really windy here today. It is sunny, which is nice.

All the cats have been outside twice. They have also all had nice, safe naps inside the house.

I had a bacon and tomato sandwich for lunch.

Dh actually went and had coffee with a friend this morning. Before he left I heard mutterings at his computer. He didn't know how to bring up his FBook. I did it for him and he was grateful and asked me how I did it. Hmmm...
