I've taken the compost, garbage and recycling to the end of the driveway. I might need to start wearing a jacket outside soon. It's sunny, but it isn't warm.

Grilled cheese (with ketchup for dipping) along with tomato soup for supper here tonight. Lots of crackers and some black pepper in the soup, depending on who's bowl you look at.

yesterday turned into a no focus - full of procrastination day - I was stuck in it before I realized I was off focused. today's a new day.

This makes me happy! I mentioned to DS17 that I know someone else who dips as well, and it brought a smile to his face too. Two thumbs up!

This is the last day of school before fall break. I am soooo very ready for a 10 day break.
But first I need to push forward through today.

Good morning

I think something "tomato-y" just makes sense with grilled cheese sandwiches. I myself am of the tomato soup persuasion.

lucylee, it was Twins' who was wise in mentioning that organizations or affiliations can help with finding leadership. As for ME, it was a day like blessed's day, less than focused.

I do not do well with others in my house working, and I guess that's especially true when they can't help but be noisy, have problems, etc. We are in recuperation mode around here. HRH thinks we should go out to grocery ourselves and put our own hands on some helpful choices to replenish the fridge and cabinets! That may be happening later.

What's set in stone is the truck's appt at service dept. He's on the phone about that right now.

Noticing that I am almost to a good landmark or stopping place with fabric organizing, so I think I'll make sure that's done today.
Want to continue the houseplant-watering and feeding schedule. I'm about halfway with that. I always write down when that's done and keep cardfile and planner "aware" of "where" the plants are in their care.

Kitchen looks like a tornado came through, so some care is needed for that, too. Good grief, my dmother's green glassware pitcher and an etched monogram pitcher have been put out on the counter - didn't even realize that last night. Yipes. I've got to take good care of those! Someday someone who doesn't want the responsibility is going to have to inherit them!

UP on time.... worked on the zones a bit each day is starting to show yea!

Getting dressed happened.
Then Duds got em sorted. Washer twins progress...
1st load washed dried & put away yea!
2nd load in the dryer now.
I have food and menu figured out to meals today.
Oven is baking one meal.
Walked happened.

Another ketchup dipper here thinking corn dog would be great!
Have not had one of those in eons!

I was in PUPA mode this a.m. for dcleaning lady. Dh doesn't understand my preoccupation with that process and was underfoot. He got out of the house once she was here, tho.

I still haven't walked ddog and she isn't happy. Must do that soon.

I ended up just posting above right after I walked the ddog and before I came upstairs...

I have my workout today at two, and tonight dh is out bowling. I took the comforter off the guest bedroom bed and dh will take it to the cleaners when he goes to bowl. We'll have houseguests the end of this month so want it cleaned. It was hard to get it to the cleaners when we were going out of town every month and having the dog sitter here.

** Unpacked 4 boxes of items received through the mail. Mostly pantry restock with the exception of glade plug-ins fragrance. Teens and dogs can be smelly! Stay curious....who will win the smell factor in our home?
** 48 SHE cards completed.

For the past couple of weeks, every time I go to the store, I grab one or two big bags or boxes of candy for Trunk & Treat on October 31st. I keep increasing the amount of candy I buy each year, but we still always run out. I haven’t counted exactly, but I think I’m nearing 2,000 pieces of candy. Maybe this year we won’t run out? Doubtful, but here’s hoping.

My favorite so far is the interview with Nobel Prize in medicine winner, Fred Ramsdell. He was hiking in Montana and didn't know that he won. He thought his wife was yelling bc a bear was near by. lol.

I am 99% sure that I won't read his plays/scripts or work. I like books with hope. I do like mysteries - not hard core violent ones.
