howdy - I was worried about being late but I see we are all running busy/late.

Hello to all of you

my morning was spent with mom and helper. (trying to keep mom up until noon).
I am a little overwhelmed bc I am so late getting started.

I got in yea! Lunch time here,
Have been working on planner stuff for holiday updates this year.
Laundry is under way.
Walked.
Changed my own furnace filter too.

called vet to make an appointment for sweet Gracie - bad hear infection - 2:30 pm I touched her ear and she shuttered and yipe.
did bills make a card for bills for next week - start christmas cards.
cards are now on dining room table.
put laundry upstairs
folded towels and they need putting away
flip flopped laundry
put soup in containers
listened to study from yesterday and today

yesterday I got a bad migraine and chills-I always happens with rain is coming -They said there wouldn't be rain but it poured all afternoon. I slept all day, was up for a couple hours and back to sleep all night.

I feel rested - lol after all that sleep it makes sense.

I was amazed that I got in at all today.

I spent an hour rearranging my closet so now the winter stuff is front and center. I finished just moments before noon.

Then I went and got some essentials. Dh and I were both out of soda.

Are we back? I haven't been able to get here today. I'm piddling around at genealogy. Will need to s2s soon, we're out for supper tonight, meeting at 5 p.m. for 5:15 reservation! Why in the world so early? Anyway, I'll be ready to leave 4:30 ish.

I got into the HOA account this a.m. on my phone, but then couldn't find the HOA check that I'm trying to deposit. It was actually written to the developer who built out the neighborhood, but I think we can deposit it. I'm going to try anyway, it was a refund for the last month.

Have not done much since I posted on Facebook. Had some lunch -- bulgur chili made by dfriend K, who is vegetarian. She said her husband didn't care for it, but I found it quite yummy. Dropped DD off and picked DC up. The major north-south route to the freeway nearest to DD's work is now open in both directions after being northbound only for most of a year, I think. The freeway is south; the hospital is north, so any time they have to close off part any of the major streets that lead to the highway, they keep them running northbound. At any rate, I was tickled to be able to head straight to the freeway to go get DC.

Saw many RVs on the highway. Thought of Dee and Emptynester.

Between attempts to get here, I went online to a puzzle page and have been spending too much time there. I need to get some laundry done, say my prayers, and make plans for a mini-pilgrimage I want to make.

I hope Gracie feels better soon and your mom's blood test goes well, blessed!

Yeah, Cathy, I think it's time to pack away the shorts and pull the long pants and sweatshirts out of storage. I'm sure it was a morning well spent.
