It's a Fabulous Friday! Nothing on my calendar and houseguests are heading out today. What are the fabulous aspects of your fabulous day? Family? End of the week and no school/homeschool? Time with friends? Time without friends? A sunny day after several days of rain?

Do tell, we can find fabulous everywhere we look!

I'm up slept well yea! Have done qt listened to a great speaker for that.
Have dumped trash.
Vacuumed the back of the house.
Off to a great start.
Did journals to.

Thank you for the fabulous start to our Friday Twins' Mom!!

Another day with rain. It poured here all day yesterday and it was cold and windy. A lot of leaves are down, but not all of them.

Dh must have thought he was playing baseball in his sleep just after 4 this morning. He was thrashing and kicking and grunting. I gave up before 5:30 and I've been slowly doing some stuff.

Most importantly all 3 cat litter boxes are done!

Cuba is reporting that they had no fatalities during the hurricane! They listen to the authorities and get into sheltered places. There are lots of trees down. Other than that, not too much damage.

Fabulous because there is nothing I have to do till after school today.
Keflex is not my friend. 2 pills and I’m already running to the bathroom…
Of course both dentists are closed today. Called pharmacy and asked how much difference it would make if I went back to the z-pack. He confirmed that I should try that and if there is still infection after 5 days they might prescribe something else.
I took the Tylenol/Aleve combo because I have a headache and I’m going back to sleep. Will take day 2 of zpack agter I eat something.

Good morning!

Not much fabulous here, nor much conga-ing, unless my dashing about running errands counts. Right now, I’m in the dentist’s waiting room while DC gets a cleaning and checkup; I was here for that for myself on Wednesday. They’re friendly folks here; they don’t mind seeing me again.

After this, I will go give blood. I will be a little disappointed if there’s not at least one person there dressed as a vampire. And then from there, it’s the pharmacy to pick up the toothpaste they prescribed me. We’ll probably be ravenous by then, too. I had cornbread for breakfast, and that was it; DC didn’t eat yet.

The music here is Halloween-themed today. We’ve had “Witchy Woman,” “Somebody’s Watching Me,” “Superstitious,” “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” etc.

Hopefully, I’ll be back for a check-in after my errands. If not, let me wish you a great day now!

LOL, Mystery, could be some creative costumes today at the blood bank, I love it!

Glad Lucylee can rest up some today, and that the root canal wasn't as bad as feared. I've never had one.

Cathy, the sun finally came out here this morning. I think we've been cloudy/endless rain since Sunday? I haven't caught up on news about Jamaica since we've been immersed with house guests.

Nancy is starting the conga line, Lucylee is in line, but heading toward the bed, and Mystery can jump in as she congas out on errands.

As for me, the houseguests are on their way back to Alabama. My ears are totally talked off, with her particularly. I love them, but being with them is intense.

I've headed upstairs. Part of me would like to get pansies and get them out but I'd rather not do things I'm "supposed" to do today. Tomorrow I'm busy 10-4 watching a webinar, there are breaks of course. Dh will be going to the local college football game.

lol It looks like I won't be back for awhile

dd older was supposed to go to mom's appointment - she is the one who doesn't believe that there is not something we can do medically. it's hard to understand. She had to go to the er - she is dehydrated - I think its like that stomach flu, that is going around, except intestinal. She hasn't been able to drink for a day.

time for me to get dressed.
Mom is ready - helper did it all on her own - very nice.

Mystery, thank you for giving blood. Have a good time seeing the costumes at the blood drive.

Nancy, I'm following but my conga-ing has been mostly stepping back and forth, as I hop up and down between cutting board, sewing machine and ironing board.

Our focus today is on getting ready for the children to come this evening. I wonder if I could delegate to HRH to bake these cookies (refrigerator ready-to-bake). He would probably roll his eyes and sarcastically remind me with all the baking he did all his working life, he could do it quite well. Both of us are deep into projects and only emerging to stretch. If we do it together, it will be fun, of course. I suppose they should be cooled completely before popping into baggies, so I'll get it done one way or another soon.

I had a stray thought about writing down the ingredients that are in my really nice herbal tea, which comes in unlabeled organza tea bags, and baggie-ing that for the children, too, with some other mysterious words of some kind. Make it sound like a recipe for a cauldron. "Root of Dandelion, seed of Fennel... .." lol. Don't want to make the younger ones think they have to drink anything they don't want to, though.

Also waiting for a call-back. Seems I'm forever waiting for calls-back these days.

I have called Rx place and there are no recalls on my Rx's.
Saw on FB where there were some.
I have watered toms.

Had bfast hot cocoa from k cup did not sit to well with me.

I've cut out upcycled vest from jeans to seam up.
I need to think about mopping.

Walked & got my steps in for today yea.
Got the last load out of the dryer folded and put away.
