Turn that clock back today! Only an hour, but it's my favorite morning of the year to grab a little extra shut eye.
What will you do with the extra hour that you regain from last March? Today always feels luxuriously long because our perceived time of of day is later than the clock now. Be prepared, of course, for the early nightfall.
It's a good day to change out batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide alarms too.

I love when the time falls back -it is luxurious isn't it?!
I dislike time change normally - I always laughed at it when it came to dairy cows by my brothers and where I lived. It's not like the dairy farmer can tell the cows that they won't get milked at their usual time -or they they didnt come in from the fields at the regular time. animals get used to a feeding time etc. routine.

Re: Fall Back Sunday PWYC
Little feet didn’t recognize the time change either, but I was able to persuaded her to let me walk at “6” so we did have to be in the dark
Sweetie and I really enjoyed the concert so much that I am buying tickets to another one this coming Sunday. Made a huge difference for him enough that I will take him to live music as much as I can.
My day:
* finish my morning routines
* clean kitchen
* refill vitamins
* mop bathroom floor
* bath my little friend… she stinks!
* computer time
* pay bills
Waving to y’all. BBL

Re: Fall Back Sunday PWYC
Hi!
A very early start to the day because the cats wanted to go out. I have been trying to change their times for meals and going out in the morning for the past couple of weeks. Supper time should be okay tonight. They might have been upset that supper was getting later and later, so I think they won't be too upset tonight.
I bought some meat at our favourite "grocery" store yesterday. They have lots of meat and produce but very few canned goods and all the bread is from a local Italian bakery. They have added a shelf of fruits and veggies that aren't as good as the regular stuff and yesterday I grabbed a bag of apples. This morning I have an apple pie in the oven. Who is this woman?
Dh just walked through the kitchen and asked why the oven was on. He has changed all the clocks that I didn't do this morning.

Re: Fall Back Sunday PWYC
I walked dMillie in a light rain already. Yes, can't believe it's raining again. Dh has gone for a massage so house is quiet for a bit. I can't believe he decided not to go to the football game yesterday. He didn't have anyone to go with, although he had good tickets. He's got this weird thing about not wanting to do things alone, especially for someone as social as he is. He knew I wasn't going. So he watched football all day, alternately with baseball last night was. I would have made some supper prep had I known he wasn't going. As it was, I made myself tomato soup and a grilled cheese. I could have used the quiet evening - he didn't bowl on his two nights this week so I haven't had much time without him lately.
The webinar was great as always...lasted until four, when I walked the dog.
I've been messaging with a FamilySearch website user. He is clueless, keeps sending me links to unsupported family trees and doesn't understand that's not evidence. Anyone can put anything family tree they want online. We have to evaluate the sources and evidence (no sources, no nothing on most, except someone else's tree...)

Re: Fall Back Sunday PWYC
Good morning
My day is going smoothly with time spent in the kitchen, garden, preparing homeschool assignments and regular daily doings. I do appreciate having time at home with family just doing normal things.
DS17 just left to work with a friend who details vehicles, a service that seems to be gaining popularity around here. I first noticed it a couple of years ago when we visited DS51. The detailer has a schedule of regular customers, whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. At the set time, the customer parks their car in the driveway, and the detailer arrives to wash and clean it based on the services ordered and paid for, then moves on to the next job. It’s very similar to having a routine house cleaning service for your home.
I've looked at the week schedule and groaned a bit. It is doable but will keep me hopping. There are 6 medical appointments this week.
I added sweet teriyaki chicken to the ready-to-eat stash today. With a variety of options already available, I might hold off on adding more food for now. If needed, I can cook a pot of mac and cheese later.
I'm taking DD14 to get her hair washed at 2pm today, but I'm not sure how to spend that hour. Maybe I'll wander through Sam's Club and grab a few pantry staples to restock.
This made me smile. We all know the answer to that question. You are awesome!Who is this woman?

Re: Fall Back Sunday PWYC
Hello all
A group going to a craft show together - what fun, blessed.
We got our groceries in. Several substitutions equaled a bit of frustration. Oh, well, not too bad. We did not get the oranges we wanted, for instance, and I doubt we'd have bought the big bag if we'd known.
I got a reprint ordered of the manual for my Singer, with a comb binding that will open flat. Have really been needing to do that for a while. Trying to look it up on the internet every time I have a question isn't exactly ideal. I might have saved it for a wish list for Christmas, but it's hard to find and confusing and I wouldn't want anyone to buy anything but an actual hard copy.
Added one more thing to my wish list, though, so I have 3 things. All extremely practical if you consider creativity practical. And I do.
Researched some "how-to"s.
Found some images and copied their shape outlines for a card idea. Probably too susceptible to perfectionism to be a good idea, but I'm keeping an open mind right now.
