d twins, you look stunning in your Carmen Miranda head dress! d twins marvelous!!!

this is how I look this morning - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHJLm6WNEv4 - I thought you all could hold the sparklers while I swing my hips to work in my kitchen. my sweet dh is thinking of having me committed? The neighbors will get a show. 8-) :D :lol:

mom was up at 5 am - very confused - it is almost like she woke up and suddenly aware that her life had changed - she was shocked by how she had been living with us and how much her life had changed- truly awakened, not afraid; she took it all in. - she ended up having to go to the bathroom and she and I got her up! I did have trouble getting through to her to stand up straight as she could (sometimes she gets stuck on how to stand up instead of sitting).
I got her back down (7:45) and she is comfortable now. Thank goodness! I really don't want to change her routine so instead of getting her dressed and up - I put her back to bed. she is resting.

I took a nap yesterday - I am glad I did. getting enough sleep made it easy to get up with her and take care of her.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I have Happy to have Diane in Demark prompts to help me do some things this week.
I still need to dust off the table legs.
Was talking with a couple of family members and they said the tips I shared helped.
One example is if you are watching a series before the next episode push pause and do a task ---
the person on the other end of the phone said like I could change laundry. Yep! That's the idea!

Or before I start the next one I could _____________ and then as my reward I can ____________.
So very helpful.

I'm going to do a Manifesting Mon. card a great way to begin the week.

I journaled some thoughts about Feb. and fun spring ideas as we have temps. for a hi up in the fifties
all week next week.

Good morning! Thanks for opening us up, Twins, and thanks, blessed, for finding that video!

One of these days, I will have to watch the Diane in Denmark videos, Nancy.

Didn't really get up early but didn't linger In bed as long as I often do. Good thing, too, as my "productive" time will be mostly limited to before lunch; dfriend K and I are going for pedicures at 1, so we'll have to leave here by 12:30 or a bit before. Not too far as the crow flies, but in a part of town where "you can't get there from here." Before I can do wash, I need to put away yesterday's so I can have the empty basket. I did sheets and procrastinated on putting them away because the drawer they go into is jam-packed. I really should add "clean out the linen closet" to my master list.

I should at least be able to get the wash into the dryer before I go. If I'm lucky (and not lazy), I might be able to touch some of the stuff on my list.

Temps are positive F here now -- they were negative when I got up, but they must have warmed quickly once the sun was up. High is only supposed to get to 11, though, so about -10? C. Usually the weather is much nicer when we go to get our feet done. I'm wearing long pants with capri leggings underneath. Hopefully it will be enough to roll up the pants, but if I need to, I"ll be able to strip down to the capris. I'm not getting polish done, so I can put on my nice, closed-toe shoes afterward.

I was about to say "off to the salt mines." Do you know, we actually have salt mines here, underneath the lake, but the area still has a road salt shortage. Well, I'm off to somewhere! Have a great day!

I'm back upstairs in front of the computer. I'll be glad to be done but I'm going to miss the last session today to take ddog to the vet. She's still struggling with pooping and distended and bloody around her anus. (Sorry if TMI) KittyKatt, I might need to find something similar here, not sure that what you recommended is sold is U.S. but I do recall my cats taking something from time to time.

I have several more HOA checks, need to get a deposit ready to take this afternoon when I go to the vet. Or actually, I should go by the post office to check the HOA p.o. box, and then I'll have more checks. Maybe take them tomorrow a.m., when this bank is open?

I can't think while I'm listening.

Hi!

PSW came less than 5 minutes late, but he had called to say he was on his way.

Very few things to do today. I will be going to Fibre Friday group this afternoon.

Twins, I'm sorry DMillie is still uncomfortable. I'm not sure if you've tried a "fibre diet"? Royal Canin do a "high fibre " dog food in their GI range (I think Hills Science diet make one too). I've tried the Royal Canin cat version with Jude and she likes it, and it does help her, but she does need that little extra help from the Laxapet. Could your vet recommend something if Laxapet isn't available? I'm sure DMillie can't be the only dog patient with this problem!

Today I painted one of the walls in the sitting room. It's the wall that gets the most traffic, and also had those dark "ghost streaks" above the radiator. ( DH couldn't see them, but once I'd noticed them I couldn't unsee them, cleaning wasn't very satisfactory, so repainting was the answer). I've used the same colour again (natural Calico) so I think it won't be too obvious that this one wall is "new". :lol:

~~~~Waving Hello to all~~~~~
This is hour #5 for me and all is going well. DS17 is at work but has still managed to call me 4 times this morning. The haven't had much business with the snow/ice still restricting travel. DD14 just left to go spend a few hours with DD49. DH is continuing to improve and is steady on his feet now. Sam has been limited on spending time outdoors but with temps in the mid 40's today, I'm letting him stay outside for a few hours and enjoy the sunshine. If he wants to come inside he will come to the door and let me know.
I've placed a 31 items order for curbside pickup tomorrow. DS17 and GF16 have volunteered to get it for me. They will also pickup DD14 prescription meds from pharmacy. Having teenagers can be a PITA, but they can also be extremely helpful. I do enjoy spending time with them and watching them prepare to be fully functioning adults. DD14 bedroom has remain almost spotless over the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping once DS17 bedroom reset & cleaning is finished then he will maintain it. Dreaming.....
I see the neighbor's dogs straining to poo some times.
It reminded me to get out the pumpkins / squash I froze up and added some to ddoggo's meals.
Walked around the front picked up a few stray branches from the last storm we had not to many just a few I missed.
Did a walk about in back. 50* outside still feels cold with a 11 mph. breeze.
Thinking I need to decide on my lunch & dinner.
Not feeling up to shopping so I thawed out some stuff to cook up Sat.
for the weekend.
Did some more writing & knitting.
