I am uploading and dressing to get back to the Y today. Did somenprayer time with gratefulliving, it is a great place to light candles and honestly I feel when I light candles the prayers come true. https://grateful.org/light-a-candle

I figured out how to create dog blockage with things we had. Maxie had a seizure yesterday. So we are just going to use what we created with planting boxes and the airodondak chairs for this week. I do still need to get planters and dirt but yesterday was so busy with church, efm study, hubby had a Sunday eye appointment and ordered glasses at Lens Crafters so I helped pick them out and I had met my social quotient. It was a very productive weekend. We spent several hours at grocery on Saturday so our pie for pi day was froze vegan pot pie instead of homemade. Mine is so much better.

Going in for 3 classes, will have a massage at 1 and I just realized I forgot to take Zep bound shot last night, did that last week too. Well will take this morning.

Launching in 15, will think a smoothie on way and take a vitamin water. Planned exercise for this week I can only do.M, T and W this week so will exercise at home then other days. I must get back on exercise. Also going to take hubby off membership to save some money. I support the Y and rarely use it but I do in the summer and this is the beginning of mine. I have 2 more weeks of classes and I am done.

Thank you for starting us off today CostumeLady.

It's dark and scary looking to the west of us and the sun rise is visible through a tiny ribbon of cloud-free sky. I know I say it's windy almost every day here, but this morning the wind is extreme. The pine trees are dancing the cha-cha and the record player is at "78". IYKYK! (I think most of us know what "78" is on a record player.)

Dh's sugar is too low. I gave him an orange and the coffee is ready.

Good morning

78 rpm record speed is a great description of the high wind. Our highest wind gust yesterday was 67mph. Today we are calm with our typical 20mph winds.
Tonight is another hard freeze with temperatures in the 20's. Yesterday I brought the dozen potted pepper plants inside, and they will stay protected until tomorrow.

We have two appointments today. DS17 sees the family doctor at 10am. DD14 sees her trusted counselor at 2pm. After those I need to get DD14 & DH prescriptions waiting at the pharmacy and do freezer & pantry restock shopping.

This is day #4 of our 10 day spring break.

Wind is blowing here too - we had storms overnight but no severe weather. Tornado watch until six this a.m. I slept but was awake checking conditions often. Dh says ddog, who had meds for the storms, was pressed up against him during the night. Now, we're to have snow showers turning to rain later, no accumulation of course.

I have a workout at two today.

Other than that, the day is open.

we had the wind the last two days and now we have snow - up north in door county and in upper Michigan got lots of snow! At least we had our false spring. it was beautiful!

I have been overwhelmed lately (like many of us) - but I have to find a proactive way to work with the stress. We all go through it. I am always amazed at when we all go through these things and how the world around us seems to keep moving and seems normal.

Had to cancel mom's dr. appointment and her wheelchair van pick up bc the helper is with her daughter bc of an emergency. we also have lots of snow and it would be too difficult for me to get her through the snow to the van.

. keeping my fingers crossed that mom cooperates and lets me help her.

started dusty miller seeds yesterday -

Good morning!

Spring break is over here. This is DC’s first day back to class. I cannot tidy the bathroom yet because they are in there taking their shower. They shower too seldom IMHO, but they make up for it when they do. It’s a wonder they don’t melt down the drain.

Not too windy yet here; the forecast has that starting up about any time now to blow in the cold — the temperature is supposed to drop precipitously. Our landline and internet are out (due to high winds “in the Great Lakes region,” says the email from the provider — no details). Thank goodness for cellular. Our smart speaker did not wake us this morning because it didn’t have internet. Fortunately, DH usually wakes on his own.

And DC just came downstairs and said they got a call that due to a power outage, the college is closed until noon. If the power is still out close to noon, they will cancel for the rest of the day.

Our internet seems to be back, yay! And since DC is out of the shower, I can go clean the bathroom now. I hope everyone has a great day!

Morning…

I have stripped the bed down and I’m now washing the mattress cover and pillow once they are done I will wash the sheets.

I am coloring my hair as well and it should be done in just a little while. It’s fairly warm today. Expected high in the 80s but tonight it’s supposed to drop to the 40s. The cold friend that went through all of you is coming my way.

I have several calls to make as well as some work on the computer so that will take up a good part of my morning.

Waving to you all… Be back later.

Looking back in - our internet was off for a few minutes, I reported it, thinking it was probably widespread, and they called me back, checked and rebooted and we're back up.

I have laundry going, need to do some folding next, Dh has walked ddog. I still need to eat something but I'm making good progress on routines. I'm going to start the roomba once dh leaves for bowling.
