Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
A reminder to write it down! LadyM mentioned her "hip pad" the other day and it's a great way to keep paper and pencil near for those thoughts that occur on the move. I'm nearing get-away date for my trip and needing to remember all that stuff to do first, to take with me, and to research while I'm there. So much to jumble the brain, so remember to fall back on that all time useful tool - write it down!

Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
Thank you for today's start Twins' Mom!
LucyLee back when I was with my ex, I took Colloidal Silver and all kinds of other things. His background was British and he decided that if the royal family could follow a Naturopathic lifestyle, then so could we. The Royal family believes in Naturopathic Wellness. I don't know if you are aware of that or not. King Charles and Catherine, the Princess of Wales have both dealt with cancer in the past 2 years and both are back to their full time duties and appearances. The previous Queen and her husband both lived well into their 90's and they also had Naturopath Doctors. (Prince Phillip was 99 when he died.) Any way... none of it hurt me or harmed me in any way. A lot of pharmacies here carry all kinds of supplements and vitamins. My ex took so many of them. His parents also did and my ex FIL lived into his 90's. I think what I am trying to say is that it won't hurt you if you did decide you wanted to try it.
BBL, dh just asked for his coffee.

Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
I'm on the write it down beat. Dh asking earlier "Have you rescheduled your sleep doc appointment next week?" "Me: No but it's on my list, I'm not leaving until Saturday." "Well, asking because today is Wednesday." If he only knew the secret of a liste, lol! And if he only knew what else is on my list and that I prioritize?
Anyway, yesterday I got our federal return happy and worked on the CA return. Once dd called me back we talked a while, and then I was just done. So need to circle back to that, but may delay until I'm home again. The more worrisome part of that job is done, so the priority has dropped.
I have a hair cut at 10:30 today - need to leave here in an hour - and we're seeing a show tonight with A and V. (Rescheduled from this Saturday, when they will be away, and that leaves me free to leave Sat a.m.) We'll probably have quick dinner out before so hoping no dinner prep.
Need to get on with a.m. routine. This afternoon's priority may be HOA work - I really should go by the post office after hair cut to get the internet bill that I can't pay online. Need to write two checks and organize papers. I have several DPCs, as dh has observed, lol.
Spring is in two days?

Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
I have no idea who "the blue man" is Blessed.
I have a written list for every day. Reminders for PSW times, "night meds" to check off now that dh is getting into the habit of telling me he has done his night meds. Household chores like "empty the DW", Every Thursday has either a "C" for compost only or a "G" for ALL the garbage. Some things don't get done because I get to the point where I am exhausted or my hips/knees start to get sore.
I really need to find more of these pads of paper that go from Monday to Sunday and go along the bottom of my keyboard. I no longer shop on A mazon, so I'm not even looking there.
Dh has gone back to bed even though he has had his water pill that usually kicks in an hour after he takes it. Late last night he told me he took a day off from it yesterday. I told him today would be worse. He's already been in the bathroom 4 or 5 times in the past hour.
Because I went to Wmart the other day, that is already marked off of today's l!st. I still have to water the plants.

I did my anti - p. task wrote down a story idea that I had been kicking around in my head.
Glad to get notes for that & q's out on paper and out of my head.
I took some down time for processing yesterday. I'll put more on that in the journey thread for 2026
Glad for the knitting I got done.
Happy to see the sun out today and just some wispy clouds.
Have a great one.

Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
Do any of you plan goals around a season? I've been thinking about what I really want to get done inside and out over the next 6 months.
For example... cross stitch project that is up next is one on black Aida cloth. I was thinking about just how much lighting I used for this project. I decided that I should be working on it when it's bright and sunny. Our kitchen table is in front of the east windows and when it's actually sunny, it's a great place to stitch. So that's one thing. Another is purging paperwork. If I want to burn cardboard and other recyclable/burnable stuff, I need to do it when it's NOT windy. I think we have have wind every day for the past 3 months. I know nice days are coming, so I have been looking for paperwork that is more than 7 years old. I don't have a lot of paperwork, but why am I holding on to anything more than 7 years old. Another "spring/summer" thing is obviously outside. I remember how it suddenly got really hot and stayed too hot for a good part of the summer. My goal this spring is to get as much done as possible before June. Dh will have to help with some things.
I know that LadyM loves to be outside in her garden. Dh also loves to get things planted but we have to wait for mid May when we should be frost free. He gets impatient and plants almost everything around the middle of May before the garden centers get crazy busy. This year I have moved some planters and I will be putting flowers in them this year. I never did that last summer and it looked awful and somewhat "forgotten" or abandoned on the patio.

Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
CathyS. Yes / we have a season in spring & fall when it's okay to burn and then other times they have burn bans in effect.
I do smaller yarn projects in spring and summer cooler weather with cotton yarn and not so heavy or sweaty in my lap.
Spring stuff gardening things 1st & last frost dates effect these.
I'm definitely a seasonal planner. Garden planner I have is in a lime green cover. Used mostly in summer.
Spring prep. mower lawn furniture out
Fall / get & plant bulbs put away mower etc.
Winter / seasonal decor. that I just put away some of yesterday on St. Patrick's day.

Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
We should order more 3 x 5s here. Running low on the lined ones. I've been depending on them more this year for notes. We do still have plenty of the plain ones.
I need to post in the planner topic again. The loss of any note pages interspersed in a planner the way they often were before (couldn't find one that made sense this year - one had a bunch of pages at the back only) has really been a bigger blow to my use of planner than I thought it might be. I do have the similarly shaped and sized notebook as well, but having two to move between for writing is so cumbersome that I don't use it well at all.
I'd be interested in the lady's talk, I'm sure. It's interesting and helpful to check out studies on nutrition and other supplemental remedies at some trusted sources with citations. Mayo seems to put out opinions on a wide array of interests, but you do have to search individually. Nutritionfacts database is easily searched, non-profit, kind of like a digest. PubMed has more info than you could comprehend in years and years, of course, but belongs to the public, as the name states. The blue man was just what people called Paul someone (name began with a K, I think), who was from the southern coast of US and made collodial silver. His skin turned blue, but I don't think anyone believed that it was causing anything life-threatening for him, just affecting his appearance. However silvery the skin may turn from taking it, it will stay that way without a way to reverse, but of course for ordinary use it isn't noticeable.
A conference call regarding my dear aunt's bequests is scheduled for Thursday morning, so that is dominating my switching around of plans for the week. I'd expect it to last an hour and a half, and then I need to take time to compile notes.
Natural light is something I chase or avoid regarding my sewing now. I plan marking or hand work for daylight when light is entering a room from multiple directions, machine work for evening when the light of the machine is more important.
Also, something new for us - we don't just plan trips out by thinking of precipitation. If the sunshine is glaring, we avoid that if we can because both of us notice it bothers eyes.
I really hadn't started thinking of getting as much done as possible outdoors before June, but yes, that's a thing, isn't it ... .. I wonder how rough our summer here is expected to be this year.
